This is a great resource for me to recommend to people who are planning to read through the Bible this coming year. This helps them take it further and pray through scripture as they are reading through it.
Thank you Net Galley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my opinion.

A fantastic compilation of daily devotions. This would make a great gift. I received an advance ebook from the publisher and Netgalley and this is my unbiased review.

Wonderful devotional for someone who wants to read through the Bible and also practice a bit of praying God's Word until it becomes a habit and a lifelong “skill.”
Firstly, the book is beautiful – something you won't mind looking at everyday for a year. The top of every page has a pleasing and soothing color panel that is like the lovely cover, while displaying the scripture passages to read that day.
In order to finish the whole Bible in a year, every day you read a portion from the Old Testament (Genesis to Malachi), a portion from the New Testament (Matthew to Revelation) and a chapter from Psalms and then later on Proverbs. Then there is a short prayer based on one of the chapters of the day.
Not all the prayers will be applicable to you. You will need to personalize some of them. But they are good examples of how you can pray.
I came across a prayer sentence that I absolutely loved and will write it down to pray everyday. Conversely there were a few that I did not really understand. I hope some good editing fixed those.
This is my honest review based on the ARC received from the publisher.
