Another wonderful slice-of-life collection by Catana Chetwynd. I have been a fan of her comics for a few years now and own the first two books. I was so excited to get an early copy of this book. If you have been following Catana Comics on social media then you have seen a few of these comics but a good chunk were new. These were all adorable and pretty relatable. Me and my husband are both antisocial homebodies so I really relate to a lot of her and John’s adventures. This collection was so wholesome, sweet, and perfect! I can always rely on this comic to make me smile, especially on a bad day. *ARC provided by Netgalley for an honest review.* |

This delight of a comic book rings true to all homebound lovebirds. My favorite thing about In Love & Pajamas is the fact that it's perfectly adjusted to current times when so many of us are in lockdown. This brilliant comic book shows the charm of being in love in the coziness of your home, without glorifying any romantic destinations. If you're in love, this is the ultimate comfort read. You will want to take pictures of each page to send to your partner with urgent "so us!!" messages. Even though I'm currently going through a rough patch on this personal front, I was still craving the feeling of knowing and loving someone - and Catana was able to accomplish just that. I imagine this book would make for a really cute present for your partner with short, personal hand-written notes on each page. What a treat! *Thank you to the Publisher for a free advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. |

In Love & Pajamas by Catana Chetwynd is my introduction to the popular cartoonist, and I can certainly see the appeal of her wholesome and relatable relationship comics. Although I don't fall neatly into the author's target demographic, I can definitely appreciate the relevance of sharing life's intimate moments with the one you love, particularly during these challenging times. Many thanks to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the opportunity to read this ARC. |

I have been following Catana for quite some time on Instagram already. I absolutely adore her comics, which I always find so relatable. This third collection of comics isn’t an exception. I had a smile on my lips for the whole time and even laughed out loud a few times. It’s one of those books that just makes you happy and feel-good. I don’t have much to say about this little one, no critics just compliments. The art is really cute and the characters, especially if you’re in a relationship I think, are so relatable. You read some of the story and you’re like “oh, I’m not the only one, good.” :D I 100% recommend this book, as well as her previous ones obviously. 5/5 |

Thanks to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the digital review copy of this adorable comics’ collection. I have a migraine. It’s 80 degrees out. I want Popeye’s. All of these things are getting me down at work, but you know what helped make it better? This book. I love Catana’s art style; it’s so cute! Her relatable tales of her relationship made me smile, and I found myself saying, “Same” more than once, even though I’m eternally single (by choice). It’s out in February, so if you’re a fan of her daily posts on her website, or the art on her Instagram, definitely add this collection to your TBR. I know I’ll be revisiting it again soon when my head hurts a little less and I can enjoy it even more. |

If you've ever been on Facebook, you've probably seen Catana Comics shared by your friends. They are insights into everyday life in a relationship and the silly things we do when our partners are (and aren't) looking. This collection focuses on acceptance and love for your spouse's quirky traits, which make you love them even more. The collection of comics are relatable, especially if you're a woman married to a tall man like I am! You will see yourself and your relationship reflected in these short passages. My only complaint is minor and will probably be fixed by publication. Because this book was a galley copy, the images weren't cleaned up to the usual crisp standard of a black & white comic book. |

I have been seeing these comics all over the internet for a while now, but this is the first time I've seen them in a book form. And what a way to spend an afternoon. I loved it! The way she shows all the quirks and truths of "grown up" life is amazing, and all in 3 to 4 images, Their relationship is so adorable! Relationship goals all the way. I have nothing more to say. Go out and buy this thing! |

English/ Spanish As adorable and funny as the author is used to. It is impossible for people who have had a partner (and even those who have not) not see themselves reflected in any of these pages. light and fun to laugh alone or as a couple, it is a series of vignettes where the daily life of a couple is shown, and I am not talking about this "perfect" version, NO, the real one, the rare but funny reality. I really liked it. Thanks to #NetGalley for the #InLovePajamas e-ARC. Me gusto muchisimo. Gracias a #NetGalley por el e-ARC de #InLovePajamas. |

Full Disclosure: I both read the comic and am now writing this review whilst wearing fuzzy pajama pants. If I could give this book 10 stars, I would. My thoughts about "In Love & Pajamas" : THIS IS TOO ADORABLE!!! I definitely saw myself and my husband in a few of these pages. Seeing those moments on the pages gave me ALL THE FEELS!!! A few times as I was reading it, I ran over to my husband and said "LOOK!!!!" He smiled too. I actually laughed out loud several times... like when... - She gets the popcorn in his mouth - He could tell she was driving his car - He was freezing as he slept This is such a relatable comic and a clear reflection of a wonderful, loving relationship. This would be an excellent gift for your partner for Valentine's Day, Anniversary, Birthday, or really a just because you want to make them smile. Perfect for millennial couples. Loved it. SO WORTH IT!!!!! I find the cover quite different from the previous collections and it's quite refreshing! Who doesn't love pick with all that lovely content?! I do for sure! This couple shows that it's okay to accept how perfect and imperfect your partner is. There's nothing like perfect or imperfect actually! I love the tiny looking characters! They are cute and smol like always been! But I can also relate with the small hand thing and him asking her that silly question about it made me laugh like nuts 😂🤣 What might seem crazy to others work normal well for some. If you need endless examples, just pick up this book! They are super cute, super adorable, super clingy (love it as opposed to in real life!), super romantic (not the super cheesy rom-com kind), super funny (not for the ones who will oppose to anything and everything). Well, like always, her comics never disappoint me. Well, it's genuine and that's exactly why it always works! Thank you, the author and the publisher for this precious ARC! It means a lot to me!🖤 |

It is a comic that deals with situations that happen when you live as a couple. Between laughter and laughter, it shows us the day to day and the love between both protagonists. There are comparisons between before and after living together. (I have identified myself several times). Not only that, but scenes in which they compare the personalities of both (for example, she forgets everything and he remembers even the smallest detail). Also, in relation to the title, it shows that one is not always formally dressed but lives in pajamas ❤ I think it is an excellent comic to enjoy as a couple and have fun remembering how the relationship began and how far it has come. |

I got gifted Little Moments of Love and then gifted Snug to my partner so I was really excited to read this one! Almost all Catana's Comics are equally relevant and sometimes it feels like they're being made about ourselves rather than them! I loved this collection and related to the working-from-home comics as well. I love that she manages to write about the sad and bad parts in such a way that it's still a nice comic as well. The comforting ones always get to me and I'll purchase this next novel physically as soon as it's available! |

In Love and Pajamas celebrates the relationship that every human wished they had: a relationship where you can be free to be yourself in every aspect. This was the cutest collection of comics! I saw myself in Catana... maybe a little too much! Thanks to NetGalley, I was granted an ARC of this amazing collection and I screenshotted individual comics that I wanted to share with my fiancé. After I finished, I sat him down and he begrudgingly took his eyes away from his video game (Animal Crossing) to scan through the "highlights," or the comics that reminded me of us. I recommend this book for anyone who wants a laugh and, maybe, a glimpse into their own relationship. NOTE: I will be publishing this mini review in a list post, as well as mention my experience reading it in a reading vlog on my BookTube channel. Both content venues will be updated at the end of the week. |

My gosh, this was cuteness overload! I loved every.single.page of it! I didn’t know about Catana before, so this was my first time experiencing her illustrations. I loved her panels, they were sharp and clean. And I loved the artwork, they were again very sharp and clean. It was also a pleasant surprise to know that she wrote the comic strips based on her real relationship with John. How sweet is that?! While the world is bombarded with negativity, and lots of humours have turned dark and snarky, this book is a breath of fresh air. Can’t wait to get my hand on the printed hardcopy when it’s out later! |

5/5 stars Thank you to Andrews McMeel Publishing and NetGalley for providing me with an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review! In Love & Pajamas is the latest comic book instalment from Catana Comics, who is popular online for comics featuring herself and her fiancé John. This collection is all about the cozy and comfortable stage of a relationship of being in love, in pajamas, or both! I first discovered Chetwynd’s comics on Instagram and thought they were funny, cute, and relatable. In Love & Pajamas doesn’t disappoint. Chetwynd is excellent at drawing the humour out of the small things like making your partner a cup of coffee to the big things like future life plans together. For those of you not familiar with this author she illustrates a comic called Catana Comics, where she details the life of herself and her fiancé John. These are very wholesome, sweet, lovey-dovey comics. If you just need a break from our crazy world then look at these comics for a nice warm hug. Two of my favorite comics were when she moves John in front of her so that he’s blocking the sun (to give her shade-I’ve hidden behind my husband before), and the one where he asked if she drove his car earlier and you show the seat 5 inches from the steering wheel (I have short legs too and the car looks totally different when I drive versus my husband). Read this book for your daily dose of cute. |

Besides, this book brings us to learn that it's okay not to be perfect, and it's more than okay to do silly things in front of your partner 😂 I absolutely loved it and highly recommend this book to all, especially for those who’re married. These comics are absolutely adorable and proof that once you find your person, you can be your completely ridiculous silly self, and they will love you for it. You just have to find them. There are also no stereotypical gender roles in these comics, which is really nice. Both the husband and wife can be serious and silly, rational and irrational, and sometimes both and neither. It's art like this that makes you believe there truly is someone for everyone out there. |

In her third collection of "Catana Comics", Chetwynd continues to celebrate the small, everyday moments of a healthy, loving relationship. Whether that is staying in bed a few minutes longer, or deciding that 2 AM is really the best time to clean the entire house, or bringing a very full glass of wine to your partner after they had a bad day, Catana and John are there for each other. It's the love in small gestures, the ones that are private and personal and--yes--most likely happen in comfy pajamas. The cups of coffee and the binge-watching sessions, when deciding that pizza is better than cooking and the favorite photos aren't the staged ones. Chetwynd's comics define "couple goals" in the coziest, romantic, domestic way possible. With every page loaded with an overload of warm fuzzies, this collection is a perfect gift for a partner, newlyweds, or for yourself! |

I randomly requested this book on NetGalley and I am so glad I get to read this. This is the book you read when you are having a bad day and you want to turn that into a good one. The is just adorable and perfect. All the comic strips in this book are going to instantly make you feel happy and bring a smile on your face. Maybe some of you are going to easily able to relate some of the instances in this book too. The drawings are super cute and expressions catched in each drawing is on point. I want everyone to please pick this feel good and super cute yet short comic novel which you would want to read over and over again. I am sure we have all come across Catana comics shared on social media platforms like facebook and Instagram, but reading this book at a stretch makes my heart melt and fall in love all over again. _____ Thank You to NetGalley and Publisher for providing me with the eARC in exchange for a honest opinion. Okay, sometimes life can be very simple... I see a new Catana book, I want it. Little Memories of Love are probably still my favourite by Catana. And Snug probably comes a close second. However, I still loved this one. And I'm going to tell you why. These times are stressful for most of us and I just loved curling up with this book and enjoying it for an hour. A cup of tea and sitting in my favourite armchair and for a moment I was just lost in this book. So, thank you for bringing us this little book, it's all I needed. I have to say that while I follow Catana, lately her posts were not showing up on my feed and therefore I can say that I did not see the majority of these comics, therefore, it all felt like new content to me. Which made it more fun. |

This was such a cute graphic novel about a couple going on their everyday lives. It reminded me a lot of Soppy by Philippa Rice, which I really enjoyed. It is fun and light-hearted and it portrays what a happy healthy relationship should look like. The events that the author depicts are very relatable; I definitely saw myself represented several times. The art style was not my favourite, but I have to admit it was pretty good and adorable. Also, a very fast read, I read the entirety of it on one sitting. |

Thank you NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for providing me with a temporary e-arc. I am a huge fan of Catana's previous release, 'Snug'. But this collection was simply something more. Something more beautiful, soft, funny and adorable. The moment I started this cute quick read, I instantly forgot about everything else and savoured every single one of the comic. The general idea behind this collection is about loving each other's quirks and simple things in a relationship and Catana captures each one of them in a way that ends up putting a smile on your face. Being an eternal romantic, lots of books on love and relationships makes me feel single AF but this collection made me dream of a day when this would all happen to me (ah, a girl can dream) in the calmest way possible and that says a lot of things about this collection! As as I have mentioned earlier in my review on Snug, Catana is someone whose works I will always be picking up! |

*Previous posted on Goodreads. Link below* So recently I finally got around to making a Netgalley account and I noticed the artwork on the cover of this comic immediately. Who doesn't know the iconic art of Cat and John and all of their fun and mundane experiences of a relationship? I was so thankful it was in the "Read now" of Netgalley and I could dive into it straight away. I got my hands on this in the very first hour of making my Netgalley account and I opened it straight away and read it in one sitting without even meaning to. I only wanted to have a peek at it before settling into it another time but before I knew it, it was an hour later and I was finished. Needless to day I loved this comic. It just brought out so many happy and sappy emotions. I resonated so much with it and I thought the artwork was so fun. My face hurt by the end as a result of smiling so much. I highly recommend anyone pick up this fun read. It's definitely a pick me up kind of read and I'm sure it'll put you in a great mood like it did for me. My Rating Scale. 5☆ - I really loved this book and it brought out true emotion in me and I would highly recommend. 4☆ - I loved this book, it is worth the read and recommendable. 3☆ - I liked this book, I am glad I read it. 2☆ - I didn't really care for this book, wasn't the biggest fan. 1☆ - I did not like this book at all and probably did not finish it. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3636748324 |

I really love Catana's comics. They just never seem to get old, and In Love & Pajamas was no exception. This was yet another precious, hilarious, relatable collection of comics about relationships, with this one specially focusing on what it's like to be with your best friend and to be so comfortable with your significant other that nothing you do is "weird" anymore. Having been with my own spouse for so long and being so comfortable with them, I always feel like I see pieces of us in the goofy depictions of Catana and John, so needless to say, I really enjoyed this collection. ♥ Thank you so much to the publisher for providing me with this review copy in exchange for an honest review! |

I had no idea that Catana Chetwynd was releasing another collection of her comics, but as soon as I saw it I had to give it a read. Her comics are so relatable and easy to identify with, especially when you're able to see your own relationship in her vignettes and snapshots of her relationship. If you've seen her comics on the internet, then you will recognize her style. She perfectly captures situations that can be both common and rare, but equally special, in a great relationship. This one definitely ends up being a great companion to her other collections. |

ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. To begin, I have not read any of Chetwynd's work so I had no idea what to expect when I read this. One thing is for sure, and that is how much I enjoyed reading this one. The drawings were filled with life and clearly captures the romance and in-betweens. I was literally grinning for the most part of the comic. It is easy to read and does not drag on scenarios. Both the characters are lovable and easy to relate to. This one is definitely a 5/5. Looking forward to reading more of Chetwynd's works. |

This is a nice feel good comic to curl up to. Basically it is Catana describing the cute moments in a relationship/her relationship like fighting with your partner when they eat all your food, curling up with him after a scary movie, joking with him, etc. I believe this book is a nice distraction from everything that is going around right now. I actually did not know the author and this was my first comic from her but this is making me want to go out there and read some more from her. Totally recommend! ARC was provided by NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing in exchange for an honest review. This review is being published before the release date (February 2nd, 2020) Oh, this was just the sweetest and filled my heart with so much warmth! Times are really hectic and hard right now, and I’m not going to lie, I’ve been looking for things that keep me happy and make me laugh. This is the first book I ever read by Catana and I’m so pleasantly surprised! My heart is bursting with warmth, love, and just bright sparkles of joy. And this book reminds me of my own marriage to my spouse. They whole time I was reading this I couldn’t stop saying, “It’s us!” It’s such a sweet book, truly! This book is a collection of comics that shows it’s okay to accept how perfect and imperfect your partner really is. What may seem odd or ridiculous to others, may work for other couples and this collection is the perfect example of this. With characters that are clingy, funny, and in their own unique way of charming, many readers will find themselves connected to this adorable couple. I can’t remember the last time a book made me laugh out loud (so dang much), swoon, and get so soft and sappy that I went to look back through all the photos I have of my spouse and I. Even the little things in the collection reminds me of the little things that happen in our every day especially the parts where our female character is short and asking for help. That’s literally us, every single day! Or the parts with the naps, we’re always together for those. It’s just the little things and this book filled my heart with all the feels. I really loved it. Overall, this is a fantastic book that you should pick up (even though it doesn’t come out till 2021)! This is such a relatable book and I can’t think of a better present to give to your partner for Valentine’s Day or an anniversary. Also, it’s a really quick read and perfect for readathons and any reading goals you’re hoping to accomplish. I can honestly say, I’m eager to pick up more work from this author and I can’t wait to see what’s waiting around the corner for us! |

hi everyone! This book is the cutest thing ever! It's a short collection of comics of everyday 'couple life' showing the cute romantic (but realistic) moments. and I mean: - asking the other one to see a movie you just watched to talk about it - doing things that the other loves - procrastinating on going out just to stay in bed together - texting each other from different rooms - and many other sweet and funny things It's very relatable, in fact it isn't about the grand gestures and other typical rom-com things, it's about the every-day life in the comfortable and loving stage of a relationship and about embracing every quality and little quirks about them. I really liked reading it and I found myself in almost every page. I think this could be a perfect Valentine's Day gift for you other half, just to show how much you appreciate every single moment you spend with them :). |

Note: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All of the opinions are my own and this did not affect my review in any way. 4.5 stars Ever since I read Snug I have been obsessed with the author and her work, so when I got the opportunity to read and review her latest work I knew I had to take it. In love & Pajamas is a comic that details what is like to be in love with your best friend and how relationships work when you are truly comfortable with one another. In reality there isn’t anything truly outstanding about this book, it is just a comic about love, dating you best friend and what it is like to be in a loving relationship. Don’t go into this comic expecting some kind of plot or order, you won’t find any. What you will find though is an adorable collection of comic strips that are able to capture what it is like to be in love in just a few pages. The best part for me about this comic is that it is extremely relatable. I could picture my boyfriend and I in all of these scenarios and I even texted some pictures to him just because of how relatable they were. I recommend this comic if you are looking for a past, quick, pick me up that will make you smile all the way through. This is the definition of a feel good book because even though the comic is about the author and her partner you are able to connect and relate which makes it an adorable read. This comic won’t take you more than 1 hour to read so I truly recommend for you to pick it up and give it a go, it’s totally worth it and the art style is amazing. Thanks so much to the author, publisher and Netgalley for allowing me read and review this book. |

In fact, I kept finding comics in the book that I liked so much I had to go see if they were on Instagram so I could show them to my husband. Yes! Catana Comics is back with another fantastic (and endearing) collection! In Love & Pajamas: A Collection of Comics about Being Yourself Together is an accurate title and description for this entire series, and perfect for this graphic novel. Catana Comics is one of my favorite comics to check out, as I know each and everyone is guaranteed to make me smile. Catana Chetwynd simply has a way of doing exactly that. All thanks to the hilarious way she portrays herself and her significant other. Usually by portraying them as two love-struck hermits, more than happy to spend the evening inside just being together. That's something I can relate to, and based on Catana's popularity, I would have to say that I'm not the only one. In Love & Pajamas is a hilarious collection of little vignettes from their lives. Each story feels light and casual, sticking more day to day moments instead of something more serial. If you haven't seen her work floating around online (and the odds are good that you have), I highly recommend checking her work out. It really feels like In Love & Pajamas is perfectly timed, for so many reasons. After all, how many of us are currently trapped inside with our loved ones? Well, perhaps trapped is the wrong word, as this collection shows all of the delights that can be found in exactly that. The comics included within are endearing and painfully cute, and I have no doubt that they will bring a smile to any reader's face. I know it worked for me. I love how relatable the humor is, making it easy for a wide audience to enjoy. |

Covid can be a tough time for couples and this is a reminder of how the small things we can do can show the person how much we love them. I am a big fan of doing the sneak attack from behind hugs to my partner and squeezing him in a death hug lol! So happy to see that drawing :) |

And those comics are perfect, relaxing read that can make reader laugh so many times, I loved this book just as much as the rest of Catana's comics and highly recommend this book to all people! This book is different from all the other comics because it has an essence of the modern romantic life of couples and their cute habits. According to me it can be a great gift for someone by their partner. This is a comic with illustrations and modern stories of love. I’d say that there are similar illustrations that are quite widely used these days. Although we can see many of these illustrations by various artists on Instagram they still hold a specific essence to them. The author did a good job and it might have taken in a lot of effort to draw those, I’d say you can give them a try if you wish to feel the essence of printed modern romantic or couple stories. Although a particular story is no more than a four illustration work, so I hope you will never be bored out of it. Happy reading. |

Catana Chetwynd has once again delivered an adorably relatable graphic novel about being in love with your best friend. This book is an easy read to snuggle up with, or one to read with your partner so that you can point out all the comics that you relate to. These comics are a guarantee to make you smile, and would be a joy to read on a cold February day. I could see this as a perfect gift for a Valentine in your life, as the book is set to be published February 2nd. |

I enjoyed this cute Graphic Novel about the cozy, romantic moments between this couple once they’re comfortable enough around each other to truly be themselves without feeling embarrassed about certain things. This made awkward situations seem funny, and cute moments were made even cuter. The illustrations were simple but beautiful. I would have liked more colour or just none at all. There were splashes of it here and there, however it was not enough to be consistent. I Also found some of the illustrations to be blurry round the edges, looking more like just a rough draft. As this may just be because this is an Advanced Copy of the book, I do not feel the need to take off any points. This was an enjoyable read and I would like to try more books by this author/artist. I would definitely recommend and give this book 5 stars. |

"In Love & Pajamas" is Catana Chetwynd's latest comic book that explores the little ways in which couple express their love for each other, often without saying anything at all. Each page tells a little story and gives the reader a beautiful insight in Chetwynd's personal love life as the book is based off of her relationship with her own partner. You can feel the love imbued in every comic strip she draws and each page gave me a burst of endorphins because this little book just made me so happy! It's such a sweet book and anyone, whether in a relationship or not, can take away something from this book. The book is relatable, comical, and to the point. It's the perfect book to give to someone you love. I look forward to reading Chetwynd's other works as well! Thanks to Andrews McMeel Publishing for the DRC! I love, love, love this comic book! It's all so cute and relatable! The couple is adorable. Even when they're just doing the most simple things together, we can still see their love. The author's intention was to show how amazing it is when you can do silly things and just be yourself wearing pajamas around someone else. Nothing to be ashamed of. I think she nailed it! :) My favorite comic is the one "working from home", lol. |

Inhale read this in one sitting! Such a cute and relatable reflection of being in love with your person and all the weird, special, amazingly sweet ways that you interact after being together for some time. I saw so many things that I smiled at in that my hubby and I do too. Several of the panels made much more sense after the last panel and so I looked back at the others and was like "Oh!" Like a lot was conveyed in only a few short moments in the panel and thus medium is such a minimal way of conveying a lot quickly. I felt the Art style worked well here and that the personalities of the couple really came through perfectly. Highly recommend for those in long term relationships especially as you will find at least a few somethings you can relate to that will make you feel all the warm fuzzies. |

It is lowkey unfair for me- someone who rarely reads comic books and has always been single (coincidence? i think not) to "review" this book, but bear with me. I've always been a fan of Catana's comics so finding a collection of those was something that made my day. It's content is totally adorable, hilarious as well as eerily relatable. It had me giggling, aww-ing and mumbling "same" while flipping pages. It is also definitely not just for those in love! The book contains something for every situation- right from having lazy day to being socially awkward. This particular style of artwork is also something that I totally adore- simple yet fascinating, nothing too complicated and just enough to convey it's message. I honestly cannot think of anyone who would not like this light-hearted book. Read it for a good dose of fluff! |

**I received an eARC of this novel via NetGalley. All opinions in this review are my own.** A short and sweet compilation of romantic moments, heartwarming, and makes me miss my partner while reading it. If you've been around Instagram you've probably seen a few of Catana Chetwynd's works pass by your explore feed. I've used Catana's short comics as a reminder of the moments I've shared with my beloved. Catana's art style is very unique and simple, which amps up the cuteness level by infinity. Her comics reflects very real endearing moments we share with our partners. Reading the graphic novel, I am reminded constantly of the small moments I shared and hope to share in the future with my partner. Everytime I open a new page you will encounter a short and sweet snippet. This graphic novel is a quick read and deserves your attention to feel the fuzzy feelings. A great novel you can gift to your loved ones or beloved to remind each other to cherish the small moments. Personally this graphic novel made me want to see my partner right away. Maybe 2021 will be a good year of reunion and a year that we can cherish the moments we have more closely. |

In Love & Pajamas is a cute, heartwarming book about how a relationship is. In this graphic novel, we got a glance on how a personal relationship works--the inside jokes, the lovey-doye stuff, the things that makes it works for both of the couples. It is told in a four panel style so there really isn't a storyline, but that's where the books take you-it wanted you to experience the same feelings the couple have. Cute, heartwarming, and recommended light read. |

In this comic book, In Love & Pajamas, Catana presents several comic strips about how she and her partner are totally themselves together, like changing into your comfy clothes or pajamas inmediately after coming home. One of the things I like about Catana's comics is how their differences (Catana and John) complement their relationship 😊. It illustrates everyday situations between couples, from the way we take naps, hog the bed, do little acts of kindness for each other, or even how we tend to neglect the dishes for 3 days and just order in because WE WANT TO. This book is exactly the kind of illustration of love I would have done if I knew how to draw! Today I read #InLoveAndPajamas by #CatanaComics ( aka #CatanaChetwynd ). I really enjoyed this cute little collection of comics. Each page tells a small endearing story of a loving couple. In the Introduction, Chetwynd says that "Being yourself with your partner-and embracing your partner's quirks-is such an important part of a relationship and is the very foundation of all the moments." Reading the comics with that in mind really elevates each silly or simple interaction, and made me really appreciate all the little quirks and jokes I have with those I love. Oh! And let me add a little more cuteness to this thing... These comics are based on the real life interactions of the author and her fiancé, John! Adorbs. This charming little book is full of laughter and love as it follows the life of a Millennial couple. We get an inside look at everything from how they hug or use their couch to their work habits and love of their dog. As might be expected some of these topics are less interesting than others. Although the few comics that I found boring or average were few and far between. And each one is only four panels so there is little time wasted if one doesn't strike your fancy. By the end of the book you feel as if you know Catana and John and want their cute little love story to continue (if only so you can read more comics). Catana never fails to create unique cartoon series involving herself and her husband, providing perfect little snapshots of what life is like in a romantic relationship. Highly relatable for even those not currently in a relationship, In Love & Pajamas provides an excellent source of adorableness and hope during this especially frantic time. |

Let me start my review by telling you that this book made me long for a relationship! So be warned; this book contains a lot of reasons why you shouldn't be single, it's like a prove you're missing out on a lot of cute and adorable things in life. I am just so obsessed with Catana's comics, I am really loving everything about them; from the illustrations to the cute and fluffy messages, it's the best read if you're in the mood to read something quick and satisfying. #InLovePajamas #NetGalley 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝑰 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆𝒅: • The illustrations; they are just so cute and adorable. • The Dialogues; although it's (most of the time) just one page, the page is filled with so much love and humor that it's worth the one page. • Relantipshipgoals; this book gives me a lot of ideas on what to do with the love of my life. I can't wait to give my boyfriend the different types of hugs, Catana mentioned in her comics. • Relateable; everything in this book is just so relatable, even if you don't have a boyfriend or hubby, you can still relate to the funny dialogues (like staying in bed the whole day, instead of going to work or school). 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝑰 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆𝒅: Nothing. |

I read the first Catana Comic's book when it came out and absolutely loved it... and this one did not disappoint! It was as cute and funny as the other one and just a great continuation! I love seeing Catana and Jon's relationship it's so realistic and that's what I love the most about it: how real and true it is. |

I love this book . Cute , sweet , funny and obviously relatable. I’m smiling all the way while reading the book. It tells us that the imperfection/flawed of your partner makes the relationship/marriage perfect by understanding, tolerable , accepting and love. No one is perfect in this world . Therefore, every marriage / couple that meant to be is to complement each other. ❤️ Thanks Netgalley for the e-ARC . |

There is no surprise that I absolutely love Catana Comics!!! I have been a follower for some time and she is still my favorite web comic. If you love quirky, relatable, and just down right cute comics about relationship, look no farther. I can’t thank Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing enough for letting me read is early. I cannot wait to get my finished copy to add to my collection. |

I've followed Catana's comics on instagram for years and read her last two books so I leaped at the chance to review this latest installment for NetGalley. This is her third collection of comics and I'm still just as charmed as I was when I stumbled across her comics years ago. Her art style is the same but still so charming and sweet and cozy. She balances the line well of keeping her style and flavor without becoming stale. I laughed and giggled and awwed so many times through these pages. Given how challenging this year has been, It was nice to escape a little bit to get to spend time with Catana and John and their dog and just have a cozy and fun time with them. |

This book was one of the first books in a while that was able to bring a smile upon my face. I felt that it was relatable, humerus, and heart-warming all in one bundle. I look forward to reading more from Catana Chetwynd, as this book was different than anything I have ever read. It reminded me of instagram comics, but in a coffee table style book. This would be the perfect gift for any couple. |

In Love & Pajamas is an adorable graphic novel that tells short and funny stories about relationship dynamics. The illustrations and dialogue were light and entertaining, but they also showed how strong love can and should be. I read this comic in one sitting, and I absolutely loved it! Everything about it was wonderful, and there were multiple times when I actually laughed out loud because of how relatable the comics were. In Love & Pajamas was a quick and fun read, and I am so glad I picked it up! A huge thank you to NetGalley, Andrews McMeel Publishing, and Catana Chetwynd for providing an ARC of this graphic novel! |

In Love & Pajamas was an amazingly quirky and relatable book of comics that show the depth of emotions and the funnier side of romance. I had seen some of Chetwynd’s work online, but had never read much of it until I found this book. Her drawings are sweet and adorable and she covers topics that could be anybody interacting with their significant other. In Love & Pajamas is a quick read but well worth it! |

Reading this amplifies how solo i’m really am. Even though it’s making me extra lonely, it totally warms my heart that there’s a couple out there who is too cute and gets one another. |

In Love & Pajams is a short and cute collection of comics. I know Catana's work from Instagram where I've been following her for some time now, but it just feels different when you have all your favourite comics in one place! They're heart-warming, beautiful and so relatable. A fantastic read, cozy read for the couples! You might find yourself more than once on the pages of this comic book! |

The perfect description for this book is given right on the cover: "a collection of comics about being yourself together". The introduction made me fall in love before even starting, with the broomstick-dancing reference and the "no matter who you are, being the truest form of yourself and letting your guard down is what makes all this memories what they are". Being the girl who always keeps her guard up and has little romantic experience (probably as a result), that really got to me. I had already seen @catanacomics around Instagram so, when I saw this was available on NetGalley, I couldn't resist (huge thank you to them). And I wasn't disappointed. These comics are so fuzzy, warm, cute, adorable, funny and, above all, 100% relatable. It's the perfect, quick read for a cozy blanket-and-tea winter day. |

I’ve not read anything by Catana Chetwynd before, though I have seen the odd strip kicking around on social media. I chose this book based on how much I enjoyed those. I wasn’t disappointed! These comics are both cute and funny. Even as someone who has never been in a romantic relationship, there are so many relatable moments! The drawings themselves are lovely - so few lines express so much. In that way, they remind me of Peanuts, my first and favourite comic. The frames are clean and simple, and there aren’t even a huge number of words, but they convey so much meaning to the reader. If you’re looking for something to make you laugh, and to warm the cockles of your heart, search no longer. This book made me feel so happy. I was given a free copy of this book, my opinions are my own. |

Advance Review Copy generously provided through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This was the first book from Catana Chetwynd so I did not know what to expect. I really enjoyed this book and will definitely read other books from Chetwynd. The book contains adorable drawings, the story is cute and relatable. It feels genuine and heartwarming. Most importantly the message of the book is how amazing it is to be yourself in a relationship with a person that really accepts you for who you are. For me personally, reading this book was like wrapping myself in a soft blanket. It lifted my mood and provided me with perfect relaxing reading. I think this book would be a really nice present for someone. |

This collection of comics is the perfect combination of cute, loving, funny, and realistic. The comics are centered around a couple, Catana and John, and their dog. There are a lot of really cutesy couple-y comics, but also a lot of funny ones about pet ownership, hating the Mondays, and the bane of our existence - real pants. I laughed out loud and felt the warm and fuzzies while reading these comics. If you are in a long-term committed relationship, you'll recognize the things that drive us crazy about our partners - like who the hell ate all my chips? Super cute and would make a great gift! This book will be published in February 2021 - perfect for Valentine's Day. * I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.* |

This is the second book I've read from Catana Comics, and it was just as funny and adorable as the first. I found myself showing my spouse every other page because it was just so relatable and so *us* -- it's like they're living our literal life!!! Perfect gift for anyone who's part of a couple, though it’ll probably warm your heart no matter what. Just one note: I wish the file was better quality, but I plan to get a physical copy to re-experience the magic anyway! |

In Love & Pajamas is a comic by Catana Chetwynd, and also the most adorable little reminder that you and your partner aren’t really that strange after all! The comic features little ‘skits’ about everyday struggles, laughs, awkward moments, and all the good gooey bits in between of being in a relationship with someone you love. I was constantly chuckling to myself throughout their comic, because I had little moments of ‘omg that’s so true!’ and ‘this is so us!’. The simplicity of the graphics is what makes this comic all the more fantastic. The message of each little skit is always understandable and you’re never left scratching your head wondering what they mean. This comic would be a perfect gift for a couple or someone who just loves to have a laugh. Would 100% recommend this comic to everyone in love...and in pajamas! |
