As Nina and Stephen can attest to - attending a reunion can be deadly...

While attending an All Student Class Reunion, Nina comes across a mystery after she hears an argument between two people. One of them is a friend and former classmate of Stephen. When a friend of Stephen ends up passing out at one of the reunion events, Nina is reminded of the argument she overheard,,,

A quick and spellbound read! Highly recommend!!!

Many Thanks to Wild Rose Press, Inc. for this great read.

Librarian Nina Foster and Newspaper Owner Stephen Kraslow are attending his high school reunion in a small town in Idaho. Nina and Stephen have been together for awhile and this is a great opportunity to see where he grew up, meet his family, and friends.

At the reunion picnic, one of Stephen's closest friends suddenly drops dead. Nina suspects it was murder and vows to begin "meddling" while searching for the truth. They're only there for a few days .. will she have time to find a killer ?

This friend is not the only death that will occur ... maybe by the same means. Nina will have to dig deep to find the connection ... and why they're dead.

Meanwhile, Stephen's old high school girlfriend has a surprise for him .... one that he never saw coming. What does this mean for he and Nina?

Although 3rd in the series, this is easily read as a stand alone, although I recommend reading them in order. Nina and Stephen are great characters, I enjoy how they interact and relate to each other. The secondary characters, mostly small town residents, are the people I would like for neighbors .. except for those who are hiding dark secrets and will do anything to keep them from seeing the light of day. The author did a bang up job describing the town, and all the small shops and stores that give the story a homey feel. The conclusion was a little gasp-producing and unexpected.

Many thanks to the author / Wild Rose Press / Netgalley for the digital copy of this mystery. Read and reviewed voluntarily, opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.

A librarian and her publisher boyfriend travel to Idaho for his school reunion. He's anxious to spend some time with an old friend who runs a flight service. But, that friend is murdered early in the weekend, and the rest of the book focuses on their investigation of the murder. The plot of this book was good-it held my interest and there were several viable suspects. The characters were a bit boring. I did like the closeness that was shown in the boyfriend's sister's family. It was a good model of how families should be. But, overall, I found the main characters just a bit too perfect. They seemed to deal with unexpected events too smoothly, with no internal conflict.

This is the third book of a series, but my first to read. I liked Nina and Stephen well enough. I really liked Stephens family that they are visiting. The town was described so well, it made me want to go. Since I have not read any of the other books, I don't understand Nina's hesitation towards her relationship with Stephen. I also thought it weird she refers to her grandmother by her first name. Other than that, this was a pretty good mystery. I really didn't have a clue and was surprised as to who the killer was.

This book is 3rd in the series and can easily be read as a standalone. It had me turning the pages wanting to know what was going to happen. I really connected to the characters through her writing.
