Description

Can friendship last a lifetime?

Everyone says that hindsight is 20/20. If that’s true, how much of that image in the rear view affects who we are today, or who we will become tomorrow?

Jo Felsenthal and Gina Ingram were the closest of childhood friends back in Polk Ridge, Arkansas. Growing up in this beautiful, close-knit Ozark community, they were surrounded by love and laughter.

But as these girls grew into women, choices were made, and life took them in very different directions.

Now, they’re just hours away from a reunion several decades in the making. An out-of-the-blue Facebook “friend” request has snowballed into a face-to-face meeting. Both women are dealing with mixed emotions—excitement, nostalgia, and more than a little apprehension.

In Memories of Tomorrow, Jo and Gina weave their way through childhood memories and difficult life choices. They ponder how to cross over all their yesterdays to the girls they once were. Can they find anything in common after so many years spent living such different lives?

If you like The Sometimes Sister and Hurricane Season, you’ll love the Women of the Ozarks Scrapbook Series.

"What I like most about this book is the truthfulness of it, we all lose touch with close friends through life and always wonder in the back of our minds what it would be like to re-connect. This book is a must read in my opinion, I cannot wait to start the next one!" —Five Star Reader Review

"Memories of Tomorrow" is an experience. This book shows you the reality of life and anybody can relate to it.

This book is based on the perspective of two women's Gina and Jorja. They are best friends but haven't seen each other in a long time. After high school, they chose different paths. Gina settled down in their hometown had a job that she enjoyed got married, had children.
Whereas Jorja chose an independent life she joined the forces, and after that, she also became a teacher, She never married. When Jorja returns to their hometown they both decide to meet up.
This book shows their journey.

This book teaches you many things, you can't have everything in your life. Both Jorja and Gina happy with their life but still felt some emptiness and maybe envied each other's life.

The writer shows you the reality of life no sweet writing. It is easy to read the book with no difficult language. It's not lengthy, it engages you and makes you think about your own life. It's is a good book if you like reading about the life you must read it.

This is the introduction of some characters that will play a huge role in a future series of books. Gina and No had been best friends when they were young, but life and decisions kept them away from each other. Now, in their 50's it feels like the time to find their way back to each other arrived.
It looks like a promising start.
Thank you Netgalley for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Memories of Tomorrow is a prequel to the Scrapbook Series by Natalie R Vice. While not very long - it's a great short intro to Jo and Gina. High school best friends that took different paths, meeting up again for the first time in a LONG time. This little book def serves it's purpose because just as I was like "YES what next?". it ended lol. So I'm reserving the first book in this series from the library so that I can keep up with the girls. I received an advance digital copy of this book from the author, publisher and Netgalley.com. The opinions expressed in this review are my own.
