Is this not just the cutest cover? It is clearly going to attract young readers. This story shows what it means to be a good friend to someone who may be feeling depressed or sad- which is something all kids could benefit from. I highly recommend this!

This story was very sweet, but the real star was the illustrations. Holy cow! They were realistic, but cartoon-ish and fun at the same time! The little details were perfect! My middle boy, age 4, would absolutely love this book! I bet he would spend quite a long time looking through all of the pictures.

Like so many people, I fell in love with Fiona when the tiny hippo was first born. I was thrilled to see the option to review the ARC for my sweet Fiona’s book!! The book itself is Fiona and her zoo animal friends helping Matilda the Kookaburra find her laugh again. It’s a great message about helping friends and the pictures are so adorable. Perfect book!

This is a Children's book that I read to my twin boys. I have to say I loved this book. It has a great message in it. This was a fun book with very cute pictures. Matilda the kookaburra is down in the dumps, so Fiona the baby hippo and her friends decide to cheer her up. This is a delightful and sweet picture book that shows children how important friends can be when you're down. Adorable illustrations by the author. I especially love Fiona!

Fiona is so precious and her "I've got this" attitude gives a sense of determination to get escapades. This sweet little book made my kiddo laugh and she loved the animals. A keeper for sure!

As a fan of the real Fiona and her books, I have to say that this latest one doesn't disappoint. It shows her and her friends getting together to help cheer up a sad friend. It has a good message and fun illustrations. I highly recommend it along with the other books, as well as looking into her story if you haven't before.
