Description

God Loves Messed Up People is not a book that preaches about God, but a conversation about life, designed to help others come face to face with their own dysfunction so that they can find a way out.

Gene Heil wrote the book, God Loves Messed Up People, a masterful work about the grace of God in the life of humanity. It’s the story of one man’s abusive and dysfunctional life, made vulnerable for a lifeline to all. Heil suffered the devastation of living with an abusive alcoholic father, being a victim of sexual abuse, and raised in the turbulent 60s amid racial rioting that caused far-reaching effects in his personality. The resounding message is that God can heal and restore your life.

About the Author:
Gene Heil spent his life in service to God and country. He spent 20 years in the military and dedicated his life to the Lord. Heil is an ordained minister, and served as an elder in the church, participated in prison outreach, and devotes himself to prayer. He desires to see lives changed.

Aaron Stommel – Revealing and Emotional
"Gene Heil writes with a revealing nature that most authors fail to do. He opens his life, his messed up life and recounts emotional stories from his life. He’s lived through alcoholism, abuse, multiple failed marriages and other ups and downs of life. Through his storytelling we’re able to look back on his lie and see how God has shaped him to be the man he is today. At once compelling and relatable this is the book for those who need a reminder that no matter what, through whatever happens, God is with you and he has a plan for you."

Gene, I just finish reading your book and it really touched me. I appreciate you being so open and honest. At some point it felt like someone was writing my life story. I've been married 4 times and been single for almost 15 years because I was broken inside. Your story gives me hope that God can restore true love in my life and show me I'm worthy to be loved. Please keep me in your prayers. I know it's not by chance that I saw your post and friend requested you. Thank you for writing such an honest and heartfelt book."
