Wanted: Hot Stranger For Vacation
It started with a simple message from the man known as Pina Coladas: Message me and Escape. After dumping my apartment-stealing boyfriend and rooming with my best friend’s dog, the promise of fruity drinks, dancing in the rain, and maybe even a midnight romp, leaves me singing a familiar tune, excited to travel to the Azores with the stranger who answered my wanted ad.
When Jack, aka Mr. Perfect, aka the one who got away, shows up at the airport, I’m left to wonder if this is just another one of life’s dirty pranks.
Jack isn’t only hot, he’s a fighter pilot with a sense of humor and blue eyes that make my butterflies dance. He’s saying all the right things and sending sparks in every direction he looks, asking me to take all sorts of risks—like swimming in hot springs, jumping in mysterious pools, and giving him a second chance. But he still hasn’t told me why he disappeared in the first place.
After a sip, or twenty, of sangria, I’ll happily explore the cafés and the beaches and possibly even Jack’s calves, but what I absolutely, positively will not do is fall for Jack—again.
Authors Note: She Likes Pina Coladas is a full-length, standalone, steamy and humorous contemporary read featuring a second chance at romance.
This debut novel hits all the right feels. Definitely a rom com, but that doesn't mean that Jack and Charlotte's journey to love is simple. Their flaws and road bumps along the way to love make this romantic island adventure feel real. And who doesn't love a broken man finding the courage to fix himself and become the man his woman deserves?

She Likes Pina Coladas is author Brittanee Nicole's debut novel and I really enjoyed her writing. I will admit I clicked on it and wanted the chance to read it based on the title and cover at first. This is a great romantic comedy that had me laughing and smiling at the characters and their storyline. I look forward to more in this series and also from this author.
This was such an adorable read that gave me all the feels, i laughed, i was sad and i hoped. I really enjoyed reading it.
Such a fun book! The characters are so engaging and dynamic! It's a second chance love story - not usually my favorite romcom genre - but it was a really great read. Charlotte and Jake meet on St. Patrick's Day and have one fantastic night together - before he leaves without a note or leaving his phone number. Charlotte took to online dating and finding someone to go on an island vacation with her -- Jake, after figuring out his best friend's wife's friend is his perfect girl from that one night years ago, makes an online profile to talk with Charlotte and they decide to go on this trip together. 6 years later, they meet again in the airport on their vacation. Quick, beachy, romance. Loved all the movie and The Office references in the dialog. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary, digital ARC in return for my review.
Publisher, NetGalley and Author Thank You tremendously for this advance ebook! Honestly, this book was one of the warmest, funniest, most loveable books I've ever read! A hilariously funny, romantic story Brittanee Nicole has written with such amazing characters I couldn't love them if I tried!. Gorgeous, funny, totally endearing for this to be her first book she has a calling! And I'm so honored and grateful I was able to read this heart warming story one that I have read and enjoyed immensely. I could not put it down. It was like I was glued to my Kindle. This is a must-read. And I can't wait for more from this talented witty author. This contemporary romance will have you wondering maybe second chances aren't so bad after all! I will post to my platforms closer to pub date!
I ate this book up! I seriously read it in one sitting; I found it impossible to put down. I love the concept of two people who love each other enough to continuously come back to each other, even when it hurts. My only wish is that we got to hear more of Jack's life during deployment. I know he goes into it a little, but I wish we got more insight on it.
Some fun characters in here and some really great moments. Definitely bought into the relationship and it was interesting to see what happened. Fun. flirty and fabulous,
I am head over heels in love with this book! This was such a sweet story with some unexpected deep emotional parts. Any book that can make me laugh and cry (happy tears!) is a win.
Such a fun and sweet read!! This book has it all - a sweet and sexy romance, beautiful setting, and hilarious characters. I loved Charlotte and Jack’s story, usually I’m not a big lover/believer of “love at first sight” but the author somehow made me believe in it for Charlotte and Jack. I sometimes thought that Charlotte and Jack’s emotions/actions were all over the place and hard to follow and while that is definitely understandable given their whirlwind romance, as the reader, I wish I was clued in a bit more. Nonetheless, a lovely lighthearted read that I would definitely recommend. The setting of the Azores was perfect! Personally had never heard of it before reading but now it’s on my Travel List - I loved that the setting wasn’t a more mainstream location that we see overused in novels. Another strong point of this book was its supporting characters!! I loved everyone from Steph/Pat to Jack’s Great Aunt and adored Belle. I found myself wanting to read more about her and her chance at love so was thrilled at the end to see she has her own book coming out soon! I’ll be reading any books that follow this one for sure! Special thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and author for the digital ARC. Congrats on a great debut novel!
This debut novel hits all the right notes, its funny with a side order of romance and a bit of steam too, I just fell in love with the writing, I know loads of chick lit gets a bit of a bad rap but I'm all here for it, I can't get enough and its not your typical romance novel. It started with a simple message from the man known as Pina Coladas: 'Message me and Escape.' After dumping her apartment-stealing boyfriend and rooming with her best friend’s dog, the promise of fruity drinks, dancing in the rain, and maybe even a midnight romp, leaves her singing a familiar tune, excited to travel to the Azores with the stranger who answered her wanted ad. Its so cleverly written there's so many will they won't they moments but actually touches on some serious subjects too so you will be laughing and crying. This is by Brittanee Nicole and its her debut novel, I just can't wait what she releases next, she one to watch that's for sure.
Thank you NetGalley, Brittanee Nicole and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the copy of She Likes Pina Coladas. This is my personal review. This is the first in the series Bristol Bay. This is the start to grabbing the next in the series as soon as it is out! Jack and Charlotte and meant to be together. They must endure a few bumps in the road, but the journey is so worth it for them. This was a fantastic heartwarming , emotion filled, laugh out loud at times, second chance romance novel that left me filled with so many emotions as I read.
'She Likes Pina Coladas': 4⭐ (Unpaid Review: thank you to @netgalley, @brittaneenicole and the publishers for allowing me to read this eArc copy in exchange for a review.) Such an upbeat story! Written in Azores, Portugal (me being a portuguese girl, I really appreciated this), this was a steamy and very emotional romance story that brings such warmth to your heart and soul. I think that, if I had to choose book characters to hang with or befriend, I'd choose the ones from this book!😍
A fun summer read with a sprinkling of steaminess - there was nothing more I wanted from this book to finish off the summer holidays. I think I might re-read this on a dreary winter night ...
Freaking adorable. Absolutely such a fun fantastic story. I love the tv show references. Love the journey. A great read for sure.
A really good read. It was enjoyable and it made me want to keep reading. Well done on a good book and I will look out for more!
