I was shocked to see that this was Stephanie's debut novel. The mutiple POV and non-linear timeline weaved such a great story that kept me guessing through all of the book's twists. Each time I thought I had this figured out I was surprised and that always makes for a great book. I read this quickly as I didn't want to put it down! The characters and story lines were well developed and I would easily give this 4 stars. Thanks to Netgalley for my ARC.

Vince Taylor has got it all – he’s the CEO of his own hugely successful tech firm and is married to his gorgeous wife Nicole, who he’s been in love with since the moment he set eyes on her. But Vince has a secret – don’t they always? – he’s been having an affair with a sexy young intern at his company and she’s just turned up dead in Central Park. Vince swears he’s not guilty of murder, but he’s sure acting like a man who has something to hide…

This book hooked me from the very first chapter! It’s everything a psychological thriller should be – fast paced, full of twists and turns, some red herrings to throw the reader off the track, and a stunner of an ending. There’s some police procedural thrown in for good measure too. I loved Detective Allison Barnes and I hope Ms. DeCarolis writes about her again the future, she’s a great character. Oh, and did I mention this is DeCarolis’s debut novel? Wow! Coming out of the gate so strong makes me eager to see what she’ll write in the future!

Fans of “The Last Mrs. Parrish” and “Gone Girl” will really enjoy this novel. Many thanks to NetGalley and Harper360 for providing me an advance copy of this book.

Vince Taylor appears to have everything a man could want; he's the CEO of his tech company, has a wife, and a beautiful home. But appearances aren't everything. Vince was hiding a secret, an affair with a young intern at his company until she shows up dead in Central Park. If he was able to hide the affair, are there other things he's choosing not to share?

This was a great psychological thriller. Told from multiple perspectives, the plot keeps you guessing with all its twists and turns. A must read that you won't be able to put down!

This was such an enjoyable debut. This is a novel of a Tech CEO who has had an affair with a vixen Intern who winds up dead. This was fast paced and the ending was a surprise. Thanks to NetGalley for giving me an ARC copy of this great book.

I enjoyed this one! This had all the elements of a great domestic thriller. Sketchy husband, sketchy mistress and a heartbroken wife... I couldn't put it down until I knew exactly what happened and who was really guilty.

The Guilty Husband by Stephanie DeCarolis is a well written thriller. From the very beginning I judged the cover hoping there would be some twisty secrets inside based on the title and I was not disappointed! Vince the husband and CEO at Kitztech has so many lies and secrets he’s hiding, especially when intern and secret mistress Layla is found dead all eyes are on him. The book is so hard to put down, every time you think you have it figured out there’s another twist and turn. It’s everything you want when you read a intense book.

Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and author for the eARC in exchange for my honest review

I wasn't sure what to expect from The guilty Husband. At first I found it a bit typical and slow, then all of a sudden it took off like a shot! Completely unputdownable and full of twists and turns! I loved it! Thank you so much!

Wow! So I thought this one was gonna be your typical, cliche, CEO husband cheats on perfect wife blah blah blah but this one, woah!! Did not see that ending coming. I thought I had it figured out. Nope, sure didn't. This one kept me guessing. Definitely a page turner!

Vince Taylor has the perfect life - CEO of a tech firm, owner of a beautiful home and married to the woman that most men can only dream about!

Then along comes Layla…

Captivated by someone both stunning and new, Vince has an affair with Layla, but this is not his only problem. Before too long, Layla turns up dead and guess who is the prime suspect.

This book was entertaining with a great plot twist in that ending! I loved how there were limited characters which kept it easy to remember who was who without any confusion.

A short and enjoyable book!

This thriller was so exciting. It had twist after twist. Not only did Vince change Layla's life with the affair, he changed the course of his wifes life with the affair, as well. A mix of love with his wife and her devotion to Vince. Then, Layla seemingly throwing herself at Vince. After her death, Vince learns even more about the women Layla was before him and it's a roller coaster in itself. Definitely check out this book for suspense and surprise in each chapter.

A domestic suspense that had the right elements to attract this reviewer!

We all know the story. A man cheats. The woman he was having an affair with is found murdered. The husband becomes the main suspect.

Did he do it?

Vince Taylor had everything. He is the CEO of Kitztech, a successful tech company responsible for famous apps. He is married to his beautiful and lovely wife, Nicole. Then a new intern, Layla begins working for his company. He becomes entangled with Layla and when he decides to break things up with her, she is found dead in Central Park. Cause of death: blunt head trauma.

The cops, Detective Allison Barnes and detective Jack Lanner come knocking asking questions and all clues point to Vince as the prime suspect. They just have to prove it.

I did not feel any empathy toward Vince. After all, he had a good life and decided to throw it all away by cheating. He made his bed and now he had to lay in it. I wanted detective Barnes to get him for his lies. His wife deserved better!

Stephanie DeCarolis's debut novel was told from multiple POVs and had different timelines. The Guilty Husband was a fast-paced, addicting suspense novel that had me listening whenever I could. I do have to admit that I knew the ending from the very beginning but despite guessing it, I enjoyed the deliverance.

Cliffhanger: No

4/5 Fangs
