I really enjoyed this! I'd previously read the first Enola Holmes book and really enjoyed it, and it was fun to revisit and then follow the story of the next two.

The watercolor style was playful and expressive, giving Enola Holmes plenty of personality. It fit really well with her exuberant and determined character. I liked how the color scheme changed to fit the mood of the story, and the expressiveness of each character's design.

The storyline was easy to follow and hit all the main points of the plot. I enjoyed seeing the excerpts from Enola's notebook at the end of each volume.

I will look forward to future volumes and following Enola's adventures.

I am so, so, so glad I recieved an advance reading of this collection from Andrews McMeek Publishing.

I find the main character really endearing and quite the person I would love to know anytime.

The artstyle. Don't you ever doubt about it when you pick up this graphic novel series. It6 heavenly. What's more? The emotions present in the artwork is phenomenal.

The plot focuses on themes like gender discrimination, women judging women harshly and how men see women/young girls as beings who cannot take their own decisions or perform a task meant for men/boys.

I find the plot really well structured and well presented.

I find the character development quite distinct and evolving with each book.

Go for this series without a doubt. I am still surprised.

I enjoyed this graphic novel of Enola Holmes’ adventures. If you are at all familiar with her story, you will recognize many classic moments from other books or the movie. The watercolor style is very beautiful, playing with light and shadow very effectively. This book would be a great entry point for those who are unfamiliar with Enola’s story or for long-time fans. I look forward to seeing more of her adventures in the next book! Enola Holmes: The Graphic Novels releases on May 24, 2022. Thank you to Serena Blasco, Andrews McMeel Publishing, and Netgalley for a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own.

I really slept on the Enola Holmes train! Having read the newest book by Nancy Springer last year, I was really excited to see some of the other stories adapted into graphic novel form. The movie is so fun, and these mysteries are so entertaining, so it is nice to get to visually see what is happening in the story. The art in this set is really beautiful. I love all of the pieces of art/bonus content in-between stories, as I think it really ties each case together and makes it feel fuller. The stories themselves are great, but it isn't hard when you have great source material. This was a really fun way to read some Enola Holmes stories, and I look forward to reading the next set of graphic novels! 5/5

These three stories were so much fun and I couldn’t put this one down once I started. Enola is such an interesting character and watching her grow older and learn more is entrancing. The cases are different enough to have you invested the whole time and be guessing along with Enola. The coded messages are fascinating as well. These stories can be read at any age and enjoyed anyone. I will absolutely read further installments.
