This was a really well done novel, I love mermaid novels and appreciated that this wasn't a typical tale. All of the characters were wonderfully done, I enjoyed getting to know them in this book. I kinda enjoyed the romance elements in the book. I was excited at the last chapter and the prospect of a sequel.
"I wish there were a protective globe around all of us so that we cannot be harmed once leaving this arena, Britt thought, enunciating every word in her head. A few silent moments passed before she felt her body heat up, the warmth expanding akin to a bright ray of light."
