Was delighted when I realised it was a follow on book from one I have previously read, great to catch up with the characters and read about the twists and turns they face but having the support of people in the village along the way, really makes you wish you lived there yourself and could become friends with each one
Brilliant writing and storyline as usual can't wait to read more from this author

Kerra moves into her cottage in Penvennan Cove. She sold her business in London and now tries to help failing business here. Nobody knows how successful she was and she wants to keep it that way. Ive read the book books in the series and this one's just as good

Oh it was so very lovely to be back with the characters of Penvennan Cove. To catch up with what everyone had been up to and to see how life had moved on for the people in the book series. Just to let you all know this is book 3 of the series.

In this book we see the story of Kerra whose life is feeling a little turbulent at the moment. The love of her life has moved into her cottage. But her beloved Penvennan Cove is in trouble.

The Lark and the Lantern is struggling. Business isn't as good as it once was and a corporate chain in trying to redevelop the site and there is only room for one of them. At the same time the Salvagers Yard is an unsightly eyesore which is really bringing down the beauty of the local area.

Kerra feels like she knows how to save everything that the community holds dear. But with so much of her attention being drawn to the community, other areas of Kerras life is starting to slip.

This is a great addition to the Penvennan Cove series.

this is book 3 in a series, can be read as a standalone, but I am going back to read the others in the series. I think you will get more out of the story by reading books in order.

I absolutely loved the previous book in this charming series and was incredibly excited to return to Penvennan Cove. It's wonderful to return to the Cove and to catch up with some much characters.

We are once again following Kerra as she finds her place in Penvennan Cove, just as she thought everything was going well, her gorgeous boyfriend Ross has now moved in with her, and she thinks all is good, but - yes there is always a but! Her new 'happy' life may not be as happy as she thought. The Cove is facing trouble, the community pub is in trouble - let's just say there is a lot of trouble. Kerra being the glue that holds things together and fixes what's broken starts coming up with plans to help the community she is now a part of.

Kerra has a lot on her plate in this one, not just with what's going on in the village but also in her private life. I love that the author has kept hold of that community feel to this one, it feels inclusive and heart-warming, and there are lots of love and friendships all tied together with their passion for their village.

Finding Happiness at Penvennan Cove is utterly charming! It's beautifully written and will instantly whisk you away to the gorgeous Cornish shore.

An absolute delight!

Kerra is distressed about the problems with businesses in Penvennan Cove- and she knows how to save them. She was very successful in London before moving to Cornwall, where she's been working on her personal life. Ross has moved in with her! But can that relationship survive as she starts to work more in the community? I'd not read the first books in this series and while I suspect fans will be pleased to see characters return,. it was fine as a standalone. This is very much a it takes a village story and it. best of all, set in Cornwall. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. A good read.

A warm and touching follow on from Linn’s first book in this trilogy, full of wonderful characters. It’s been a real joy to continue the journey set in Cornwall where the importance of strong communities is evident. Kerra returns to her home town after spreading her wings by moving away after her mother died and tensions arose between her and her father. Looking forward to reading the next novel in this series.

Finding Happiness at Penvennan Cove by Linn B. Halton is the third book in her Penvennan Cove series. This series should be read in order to understand these characters and follow their story.

Story Recap:
Kerra Shaw is back in this third book set in Penvennan Cove. She’s found the love of her life and they are finally living together, but all is not well in the little village, and Kerra needs to help out where she can. The community is in trouble, and as usual, it’s up to Kerra to solve all the issues. Her boyfriend, Ross is also up to new adventures and Kerra isn’t quite on board with his new ideas.

My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this third installment of the Penvennan Cove series very much. It’s all about the community and I feel like they are all friends. Kerra just gets stronger and stronger in each new book, and I love how she works to solve the issues of some of the struggling businesses in Penvennan Cove. But, does she work so hard at the businesses that she neglects her own life?

The sense of community is what really works in this series. These townspeople have all become my friends as well, and I enjoy checking in with them. They are all so close-knit, and yet, there are always issues and miscommunications that add to the drama of the story. I really enjoyed this cozy romance series.

Recommendation:
I highly recommend Finding Happiness at Penvennan Cove to anyone who enjoys fiction. I received a complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Having read the previous books in the series it was lovely to meet the characters again and watch the story continue to unfold. As ever, there was unexpected news which would influence the decisions made and how business would continue.

It does make you want to visit Cornwall and enjoy the beauty.

This is the 3rd book in the series and the focus is on Kerra.
Kerra is now living with her boyfriend Ross but has fallen out with her dad and doesn't know how to make it right again. Believing things are finally going well for her she is looking to the future when Ross gets some bad news and leaves her needing to be alone to work out what he is going to do going forward
Will Kerra get her happy ever after ?

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

I loved reading the previous books in this series and was excited to go back to Penvennan Cove, and catch up with the lovely characters.

We meet up with Kerra, as she begins to settle in the cove, but as she’s thinking that everything is fine, and her boyfriend Ross is now living with her, but, her life may not be rosy as she thinks.

It seems there is something troubling the community in the cove. Kerra tries to make things right and begins to come up with some plans that will help her friends overcome their problems.

In this story Kerra not only has the problems to sort out for her friends, but, she also has things happening in her private life too.

It was lovely to see how the author had the community feeling running through the story. A story of love, friendships and a feeling of being a part of a community.

Beautifully written, makes you feel like you’re at the gorgeous Cornish shore.

I recommend this book.

Book three in the Penvennan Cove series is the best yet. Knowing the characters and their stories made this book heartwarming and welcoming. Told from Kerra's viewpoint, the reader experiences her emotions, immersed in her life. Kerra is a quirky character who always puts others first. In this story, she learns that sometimes she has to think about her happiness too. This book has a good mix of individual and community conflicts that tug at the heartstrings.

I love the community, Kerra, and the setting.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

Third book of this series and I loved the continued stories of all the characters. This book reads like a real community and it could easily be a tv series where you can’t wait to see where or what each character does next. I’ve become invested in the lives of each and every person and their stories to happiness. Just what a good book should be ……I feel like I am walking the streets and want to be the newest resident at Penvennan Cove.

I received a free Advanced copy from NetGalley, all opinions are my own. I would recommend this book to friends and family and my book clubs.
