Excerpts from Reviews:

"I love a good mafia romance, so when this book came up for review, I was in. And I must say the author didn’t disappoint. [ ] This makes for not only a great love triangle, but also a great deal of suspense and plenty of action. [ ] The book is more tell than show (there is show, naturally), and I found this worked well for the novel. The writing is great. The plot is tight. The action is suspenseful. And the romance on both fronts burns hot.

I especially loved the introduction of Gia’s driver, Lorenzo, thrown into the mix. I am hoping we see more of him as the series progresses, because much to my shock, the book ended on a cliff-hanger. Argh. LOL. I do wish there would have been a warning about the cliff-hanger and that this is a new series. I went into this believing it was only one book and ended with what every romance ends with: a HEA.  Still, it’s an exciting first book for this new series, and when the next one is available, for sure I will be reading and reviewing. By far, this is my fave mafia romance to date. I highly recommend you get yourself a copy." - Maggie Blackbird

"I jumped at the chance to read Mafiosa Princess by Liza Malloy since I’m 100% Sicilian and have heard about the Mafia throughout my life, especially growing up in New York. The book didn’t disappoint in that aspect. [ ] Mafiosa Princess is a solid first book in the series with accurate tellings of Italian family life, and the romance was spicy without being trashy. I look forward to reading more in book two and hearing more about Giada and Adrian. " - JoAnne Weiss, Novels Alive

"I couldn't put it down. As an Italian girl myself, I related so much to the intensity of the Italian culture, and the value of family. I read this in a day. It was such an easy read, and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series." - Maleena, the Bookjunkee

"What a treat this story of love, family, and friendship is. [ ] The characterization and relationships are well done. These characters have choices and so much to consider. The setting is just right, and the story is interesting. Lots of suspense keep those pages turning. It is great that the author is planning another book. Should be a good one!" - Laura Hogg, Traveltheages.blogspot.com

"Mafiosa Princess is the first book in a new series by Liza Malloy. This is the first work by Ms. Malloy that I have read. She has a way with words to draw you in and captivate you with her story.  Giada is cocooned, spoiled without realizing it, and perhaps the most naive college-aged person I know. I feel like most women in her position would begin to question her mafia family roots. With that said, she is also delightfully refreshing. Her joy of life is contagious. I found myself smiling along with her during the book. [ ] As all the characters are introduced, the book has a slow, steady pace but picks up nicely and gains momentum until the very end. Mafiosa Princess is a difficult book to put down. I hope several characters play a more prominent role in future books, including Lorenzo. His presence stole every scene he entered. I recommend this to readers that enjoy a steamy, intense, romantic suspense tale. I can not wait to read book two in the series..." - Ginaraemitchell.com

"Ms. Malloy has written a great story that I will follow until the end. Detailed to a point, great dialogue and characters that I actually liked. Well, not Luca. But even her parents, brothers, and all the uncles/aunts are wonderfully drawn out. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the series. I just wish I had waited until all the books were out there so I could binge-read them and not have all the emotions about waiting to see how the love triangle will play out. #Team Adrian Plus, I just hate waiting. Recommended if you like the trope love triangle. I don’t but I just want Luca to get slapped by Giada or even better, Adrian. Also, don’t worry if you don’t like mafia romances. This book is more about the romance aspect, not the mob. I have a feeling that’s coming in the next book." - Harlie's Books

The first book in a series. It sets the scenes for the following books. Building up the characters and their lives.
A well written narrative that focuses on the romantic liaisons of the adored only sister in a large Italian family.
Questionable business dealings and alliances raise questions that will be addressed in further books.
