Description
Sin Wrath is a half-elf who follows the Celestial Codex and wants to live in the forest of Mier Wood among his father’s kin. But after his ceremonial judgment by the druids, during his twentieth year, he is exiled and forced out into the world beyond, oblivious to the evil lurking in the shadows.
Accompanied by a small band of elven misfits, Sin embarks on a journey to find the Celestial Stone – a divine artifact that was used to destroy the Fiery Gates. But along the way, he gets more than he bargained for, including unlikely friendships, love, war, mythical monsters, and magic!
After the return of the minotaur, Koar, the balance between good and evil weighs heavily in favor of the dark powers. A threat now exists on a cosmological scale, and it’s up to Sin and his companions to destroy it. The fate of the Earthen Plane and all its races depends on them.

I really enjoyed reading this, it was what I was hoping for in this type of book. The characters were what I was hoping for and it worked so well in a fantasy novel. I enjoyed the way Derrick A. Van Vliet wrote this and look forward to more in this series and from the author.
"Dwarves were at their merriest when in the company of friends or their kin, but they could also be stubborn, assertive, and blunt – especially with strangers. Their immense wealth and formidable fortresses were often coveted by others – particularly in the earliest days - some of whom to this day steal from their coffers, most notably the goblins."
Thanks, Netgalley and Publisher for the opportunity to read and review!
Very enjoyable read. Very distinguished and unique characters, each with their own depth that is worth exploring. The story has a nice pace with some very satisfying twists and turns which keep your attention on every page. Definitely recommend the book!
