The story is so captivating you'll be up late because you won't want to put it down. I can't recommend it highly enough.

this was another great entry in the Black Phantom Chronicles, this was such a beautifully done scifi series. The characters worked so well in this universe and it does everything that I hoped for. I enjoyed the way Esther Wallace wrote this and the previous two books in this series. I look forward to reading more from the Black Phantom Chronicles and Ms. Wallace.

"The tempest seemed to last for days. The only passing of time was light slicing through the sky. Such were the lone occasions when his companions were visible. Though it seemed longer, the storm could not have been more than a few hours."
