Description

Terror Strikes: Coming soon to a City near you!

#1 Bestseller "Political Thriller" Historical Fiction.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The back of the book:

Marten's phone rattled across the desk at his bedside. Reaching over in the dark, he picked it up and cradled it and its dim light penetrated the dark. A text relayed in from the nearby phone network tower.

Marten's interest was heightened, and he wiped his hands across his eyes in order to better focus. Two words appeared: Go Go's. He need not review the source; this could only be from one person-Nicolas.

When a journalist sets out to write a book about terrorism, he learns more than he bargained for.

Will his sacrifices be worth it?

Will anyone pay attention?

Can America be saved?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From the Author:

This is NOT a book about death, but one about LIFE (and Living) and of those (foreign and domestic) that would deprive others of that Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness.

This book is intended for all audiences - young, old, and everywhere in-between; male, female, not just for macho shoot-em-up, blood and guts, fare; religious, non-religious; political, non-political. However, it is impossible to address the topics and why they want to kill us without delving into some religious texts and politics. The Torah, the Holy Bible, and the Quran, are all addressed.

Islamic fundamentalists (GIJIAS (Global Islamic Jihadist Interim Army Soldiers)) terrorists - who they are, what they have done, what they are doing, and why they will never be able to be persuaded to stop.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the Inside Flap:

"Terror Strikes - Coming soon to a City near you!" from Joseph M. Lenard who puts the traditional "formulaic writing guidelines" through the shredder for a book like no other.

CONNECT THE DOTS of not just foreign Terrorists, but those both foreign and domestic that HATE WESTERN CULTURE and their attempts through Terror attacks and other more shadowy undermining of your FREEDOM and ability for Life, Liberty, and Pursuit Of Happiness.

I heard Joe speak a few times on The Patriot Angle Unfiltered [note: now SAVAGED UNFILTERED] podcast and speak about Terror Strikes being far more than just about terrorism and connecting several dots. I finally decided to buy a copy of the book direct and what I have to say is it is a MASTERFULLY SEWN TAPESTRY. I had no idea the themes that would be woven together as is could be done in a book that wouldn't need to take 500 pages or more to do so, but this does that, in other words not wasting my time over more pages than necessary, in virtually half that to do so. I had no idea how WELL WOVEN together items abc... to lmnop... to xyz... would indeed be interlaced in the facts and fiction blend he was promising all wrapped up in a nice and tight bow like the best gift under the Christmas tree.

""A much needed Warning"" and ""important Wake-up Call""

Bill Jamisen (from email)

Joe Lenard's new book Terror Strikes: a.k.a. Terrorist Tracks, although a work of fiction, is especially timely and topical, particularly in view of America's inexplicable and precipitous withdrawal from Afghanistan in late 2021. In doing so, our nation disgraced itself when it abandoned the time-honored practice of ""leaving no one behind,"" yes; but, more importantly, by doing so, the United States opened the door wide open to an increased terror threat by the Taliban, whose rapid takeover of a former ally sent Washington politicos' heads spinning, al Qaeda, whom we had previously crushed in the wake of the devastating September 11 terror attacks on New York City, Washington, DC and Stoystown, PA; ISIS, which we destroyed virtually overnight with ruthless efficiency, resolve, and force of arms; Islamic Jihad, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and other groups sworn to destroy not only the U.S., Israel, and our allies in the Middle East, but Western civilization itself, and usher in a worldwide Islamic caliphate.

Joe's book examines the terror threat from a different angle, in that, as the author of this book, he looks at it from the perspective of Marten, the novel's protagonist who, himself, is writing a book of his own on this very subject. In addition, Joe provides his own commentary and insights at various points along the way, to ensure we never forget what happened at the hands of the monsters who, as George W. Bush reminded us in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, possess a hatred far in excess of their meager numbers. But Joe doesn't stop there; lest we forget the existential danger posed not only to this country, he also reminds us of other past terrorist actions in places like London, England, and Madrid, Spain, just to name a few.

Terror Strikes: a.k.a Terrorist Tracks is the culmination of a years-long effort Joe mounted that has finally come to fruition. And now, we all have the privilege of reading one man's (two men, actually, Joe and Marten) take on an international crisis that, if not addressed with more urgency, threatens to condemn our descendants to live in a 7th-Century nightmare from which there may very well be no awakening, if any.

We can't say we haven't been warned.

“Terror Strikes: Coming Soon to a City Near You” by Joseph M. Lenard is a fiction and non-fiction mixture. This book has been extended beyond its title. The book, as the name suggests, is on terrorism. The story is of a journalist who is based in America and is very vibrant and true to his work. The story begins with a message from the network tower in the neighbourhood. The message says, “Go, Gos.”, just these two words. Of course, it was from Nicolas. On this journey to solve this crippled task to save America, Marten and Nicolas have to discover a lot of things about terrorism that they would otherwise never acknowledge. This journey is one of a ride and to see whether Marten’s efforts will pay off the way he wants or not, you got to read this book.

Almost 250 pages in length, this book delves into all the types and areas of terrorism that are known to humankind. This is a well-researched book with factual data and proven theories in it. When one begins to read this book, it is entirely what you do not expect. The writing style is factual and like a report at times. Some might find it hard to take in. This book is a real eye-opener if read with complete attention. Readers will find different faiths betting talked about and also references from the holy books.

This book is good for those who want to read a proper case study on terrorism. This book has been approved as good by many readers and even professors. So, I don't see a reason for anyone to let go of this book. Happy reading!

Had the opportunity to buy ""Terror Strikes"" authored by Joseph M. Lenard. The title and the timing of the publication is a key component in the world that we live in today. As sick as it is, Joseph gets into heated, unfiltered political content. A MUST BUY of a book folk's!!!

As a certified history teacher I can usually find flaws in the historical accuracy in literature. This book is clearly well researched and laid out in a very logical and precise manner.

Instead of just throwing a bunch of facts together this book is able to while keeping up with Martin in the storyline.

This is a good read for those that prefer fiction yet love to learn. History can often be boring to learn about in a traditional nonfiction book, but this book blends the two categories of fiction and nonfiction in a unique way that keeps the reader interested and enlightened.

Throughout my life and career, I know the time and difficulty it takes to research something thoroughly, the author of this book has done his due diligence when it comes to terrorism in the recent past. I have attended several classes put on by a number of federal agencies having to do with suicide bombing and terrorism, this book hits it on the mark. While packed with many true facts, this is a work of fiction, written from the point of view of the main protagonist, Marten, who is writing a book about the terrorist threat. But as with all writers, life invades into that writing pursuit. The enemy is out there and they are among us. There is not much action in this book. It is not Jack Reacher or a Tom Clancy novel, but if you want a novel that makes you think, this may be the one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pulls a Lot Together

Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 25, 2022

Truman Capote was noted for writing ""true crime"" stories in which the factual story was embellished to the point where one could not tell where the facts ended and the fiction began. The converse is both the strength and the weakness of this present volume, written by my friend and Michigan Republican Party comrade, Joseph Lenard.

It is a fictional narrative of a researcher, Marten, who is writing a book about the terrorist threat to the West, particularly from GIJIAS- Global Islamic Jihad Interim Army Soldiers. As Marten thinks, dreams, reviews, and writes, there is not a lot of plot or action- more of a stream of consciousness. This intersects with some of the ordinary occurrences of life- appointments, planning vacation, meeting someone at a coffee shop, etc. But the things Marten thinks about- the many incidents of terrorism in recent American history- which provide the interest. For me, many recalled news stories from over the years, many forgotten in my memory until re-encountered in Marten's struggles to understand. This is the real meat of the book.

Insofar as the fictional story narrative is a vehicle for conveying facts, this book reminds me of the approach used in money-management manuals such as ""The Wealthy Barber"" or ""The Latte Factor."" However, I think the approach is better for illustrating techniques as the money managers do than for political facts or patterns as ""Terror Strikes"" attempts to do. If you are looking for a good story ala Truman Capote, you will be disappointed, but if you want to connect the dots that link many of the terror stories we have seen in the news over the past 50 years, you will want to read this book.

Not all terror finds its source in Islamic Jihad, just as not all automobile accidents are caused by drunk driving; but just as inebriation is undeniably a major source of fatal accidents, so those who believe in Jihad are a major source of terror, particularly as most terror is directed not toward Westerners but toward those who do not support jihad in the home country, who may be regarded as western collaborators. What breaks out upon the West proceeds from a culture or churn which cannot be ignored. The point, as I understand it, of ""Terror Strikes"" is to take the issue of Islamic Jihad seriously and advocate policy based on realistic assumptions.

Unrealistic assumptions are those advocated by the neo-conservatism as advocated by George W. Bush who argued that every human being desires freedom and that freeing countries like Iraq from tyrants like Hussein would allow the flowering of western style democracy, benefits of free markets, and the blandishments of multinational corporations. We now recognize that the tyrant Hussein kept the Nationalists and Islamicists from killing off the Chaldean Christians (not to mention other minorities) , and that our optimistic assessment of others as ""like ourselves,"" was deeply flawed. One of the issues Marten in ""Terror Strikes"" tries to understand is the milieu which gives rise to an ideology committed to terror. That milieu works on all kinds of other ideologies besides Islamic jihad, but while there is a limited amount of those who identify with Chechen or Croatian nationalism, there is a world-wide potential for Islamic ideology which appeals to those disillusioned with the failed promises of western secularism.

One of the factors is the internet. This technology represents empowerment for individuals across the globe and unprecedented sharing of ideas, good and bad. The Progressive vision regards such advances as unmitigated good because Progressivism posits basic goodness of people, and sees laws as restricting people's ability to do good, unless they are used to force people to do good such as public health measures. Such high expectations of people have the unintended effect of causing high expectations leading to disappointment, disillusion, resentment and finally motivation to lash out. Marten's ruminations lead in that direction, though these conclusions are not stated as directly as I have laid them out.

The narrative ends in a tragedy that strikes (no pun intended) close to home that gives poignancy to the mass of facts that went before, connecting what happened to other people in the past to what may happen to us in the future.

I thought the forward and author's comments were long and could be shorter. I found the storyline very easy to follow, but I can say that those with a left-leaning worldview will not enjoy the book. The tone of this book comes across as very angry, that did make reading somewhat difficult to read.

I did enjoy the storyline and found myself agreeing with the story as well.
