Rapunzels and Powers

Wonderfully done conclusion to Dex and Grayson's story, it had what I had enjoyed from previous works from Christina Bauer. It's been beautifully done and works in the Fairy Tales of the Magicorum series, I've been reading this series since the beginning and it's always a great fairy tale reimagining. The characters were what I was looking for and were written really well. Christina Bauer has a great writing style and I've enjoyed the entire work that she wrote.

"“How well do you know the story of Snow White?” “She’s the classic fairy tale life template and…” Dex shoots me a sideways glance. “And what?” “I don’t know if you have any Snow White besties. I mean, I know you, but I don’t know you-know you, if that makes sense.” “It does make sense. You don’t wish to offend. So you know, I have no Snow White besties.”

Grayson and Dex awaken to see a portal forming before them. It takes some time for the image to appear, but it seems to be a young Grayson,,aged about 6 years old.

The images they see reveal that young Grayson was more powerful than previously thought and young Grayson was able to cast a prophecy for her future self.

It turns out that the Prism Master is intent on invading Wulfheim. He has amassed a huge army. In a confrontation with the Prism Master,  somehow Grayson manages to save the pups from poisoning by trapping them safely in her pendant.

With the Muster Tree destroyed, Grayson and Dex have no option but to go for the 3 osmos mirrors. The first of those being at Snow White's castle.

Having beaten Snow White and her enchanted slippers that keep a person dancing until they drop to their death, the next mirror is to be found in Wonderland.

At the second mirror they encounter the Prism Master when he was just the Prism Apprentice, with delusions of grandeur.

The next mirror is to be found at the original Rapunzel tower. Once again, our invincible duo are successful in their endeavour leading to a happy and triumphant outcome.for all our favourite characters. 

The book was, as always, very well written and the pace kept me engaged. My only complaint....it was finished before I was ready!! I thoroughly recommend this title.

As always a fantastic story from Christina Bauer!! An enticing and exciting conclusion to Dex and Grayson's story.
