Description

For small-town girl Blakely Henry, any hope of finding her biological parents died when she stopped believing in fairy tales and Disney princes. That is, until she spots her boarding school's new British exchange student, Max Ryder, staring at her.

Why would a boy who looks like he stepped out of the pages of a magazine be looking at her?

Because Max knows something Blakely doesn't.

Following the tragic demise of one of Europe's most beloved royal families, Max has stumbled upon information he thinks may lead to a lost royal heir, and now he is on a quest halfway around the world to see if he's right.

Sworn to secrecy by his university professor and the headmaster of Lakeview Academy, Max is admitted into an exchange program with the sole purpose of finding out the truth. But will his personal feelings for Blakely get in the way?

When a stolen email surfaces, Blakely and her friends' lives are threatened, and Max starts to question what he is really after. From the exclusive rolling lawns of Canada's most prestigious boarding school to the University of Saint Andrews' hallowed grounds, Blakely's quiet, unassuming life is turned upside down.

Is she really who she thinks she is? Can she survive long enough to help Max unearth the truth?

Marketing Plan

At the age of nine, Stacey was told she would never achieve her dream of becoming a writer because she is dyslexic.

As a child, she barely read until the fifth grade and had a creative knack for spelling words in her own unique style; today, however, Stacey firmly believes that there is no such thing as a bad reader and her main interests are as an authorto encourage readers of all ages to keep turning pages and to inspire children to follow their dreams.

- One only needs to find the right genre and format, and the world of books will open wide and welcome them with open arms. –

To further her goals as an author, Stacey writes fast-paced action and romance novels using short chapters that allows her readers like herself to stay involved in the plot and the characters’ lives and to keep on reading.

Always striving to hone her craft Stacey reads over 70 books a year and also writes continually, having published two books to date with three more scheduled for release in late 2014 and early 2015.

Stacey loves connecting directly with her readers via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Pintrest and her website, inviting them into two-way conversations and creating more personal relationships. She also enjoys working with bloggers and interviewers to get her messafe of “Anything is possible” to as many readers as possible.

Stacey also teaches creative writing, volunteers in school libraries, and visits schools through out the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia. She was a guest speaker at last year's Western Washington SCBWI new authors panel and is an advocate for children with learning disabilities.
