Description
Alan Dwyer is a loving husband and father, but also a terrible prankster. The main focus of his pranks are his long suffering children, Matt and Leigh. He goes too far one day with his tomfoolery and scares his daughter with a particularly mean trick. His wife Julie has had enough and has a heart to heart talk with Alan on ending the pranks, which he reluctantly agrees to.
On a holiday in New Zealand with his children, Alan decides on one last prank before changing his ways and makes it his grandest yet. But the fabled Goblin Forest is no place for jokes. Despite being warned not to, Alan goes ahead with his prank and disaster strikes.
Now his children are in mortal danger. With the help of the park ranger and a guild of goblin hunters, Alan has only 4 days to save his children or he will lose them forever.
The clock is ticking
Advance Praise
"The Goblin Forest by Aussie author Mark Stary is an exciting, tension filled, gritty story which I loved! What a ride! As I came close to the finish, my heart was in my throat as I flew through the pages. Middle grade kids would enjoy this novel, and many others too! Highly recommended."
