As a long time fan of Detective Joe Kenda, his previous shows and true crime books, I can say that his first fiction thriller did not disappoint!

While investigating a severed hand found in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and a murdered socialite, Rookie Detective Joe Kenda and his partner Detective Lee Wilson learn there is a hit man on the loose. Prostitutes and socialites are being killed in many cities with the same M.O. This sends them on a fast paced journey into the world of ex-military mercenaries, mob pit bosses, the FBI, CIA, and Interpol to stop the killer before someone else gets hurt and the people who hired him get away.

This book was well written with touches of the dry humor that Kenda is known for. It also offers a glimpse into the toll these cases take on law enforcement. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough! I just reviewed All Is Not Forgiven by Joe Kenda. #AllIsNotForgiven #NetGalley #bookstagram

If you are a fan of Joe Kenda, then you'll really enjoy this book.
This is Kenda's first crime fiction book and I must say he killed it.
All Is Not Forgiven by Joe Kenda has a great writing style that I enjoyed a lot.
It kept me engaged and had me up way too late finishing. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and thought the characters were well developed and perfectly executed.
A very well written story and I will look out for any book this author will write in the future.

This is a crime fiction book, which I normally wouldn’t be interested in, but the author is a favorite of mine. I’ve read both of his non-fiction works, so I decided to give this new endeavor a chance. I was glad I did, as it was very much worth reading, an exciting page-turner. Lots of intrigue and suspense and moves briskly. I found it enjoyable and look forward to his next release.

Kenda is a retired Colorado Springs Police Detective who was involved in 387 homicide cases over a 23 year career , with a closure rate of 92%.
This is a fast paced book I am sure you will enjoy. He is witty and has a dry but hilarious sense of humor. This plot stemmed from an actual case that haunted him as a detective,

Then you will absolutely love this book.

First off, I am a huge Joe Kenda follower and have kept up with all his cases he’s talked about/mentioned etc. Secondly I’m married to law enforcement and a detective so I love all things criminal and police procedural. I was very pleased to have the chance to read his fiction book which read like a nonfiction but obviously written fiction ‘of course’.

I dove in and went for quite the adventure. The story follows a rookie detective back in 75’ investigating a murder of a wife and mother who was very wealthy and placing connections to that case along with others that have occurred.

I loved how the author paid mind and inserted all those details and bits of information which helped you understand more of what was going on. I felt like I was trailing right along with the narrator and the way the book was written you didn’t just get to see the storyline from their point of view but also those others within the book.

This book is a top on my list for 2023 and will love recommending it to all my friends!!!
