I’m an avid romance reader and always on the lookout for more love stories to add to my shelves. Buzz Books 2023: Romance is a fabulous resource for anyone who wants to know what romantic novels await us in the coming months. From standalones to series-starters, from contemporary to historical to paranormal romances, and from bestsellers and debut authors alike, this guide highlights 14 upcoming books any hopeless romantic will enjoy.
The 14 excerpts here are fairly long, giving readers a good idea of the plot and tone of each novel featured. It actually changed my mind on two books I wasn’t sure if I’d like: Do Your Worst by Rosie Danan and My Roommate Is a Vampire by Jenna Levine. Both actually look amazing and are now must-reads I plan to pick up soon!
Some of the other books I’m most looking forward to reading in full are Stars in Your Eyes by Kacen Callender, Earls Trip by Jenny Holiday, The Emperor and the Endless Palace by Justinian Huang, As Long as You Love Me by Marianna Leal, and Love of My Lives by Yamile Saied Méndez.
