In April Asher’s next Supernatural Singles novel, Not Your Crush's Cauldron, a
buttoned-up witch takes a stroll on the wildish side, sparking an alert that lands her a familiar Guardian Angel.

Olive Maxwell much prefers teaching about the Supernatural world to taking part in it and leaves the magical shenanigans to her two sisters. After assigning her college students a project designed to nudge them outside their comfort zones, Olive realizes she’s never once stepped a toe out of her own . . . and it’s about time that changed. Her first trip into the unknown? Moving in with her longtime crush and friend . . . tattooed, motorcycle-riding, and pleasantly pierced Baxter Donovan.

Bax Donovan, Guardian Angel not-so-extraordinaire, has acquired so many black marks on his record it looks like a Scantron test. He’s been given one last chance to keep his Guardian wings—a high-profile Assignment he knows all too well. Olive is usually as low-risk as it gets. Hell, she wrote the safety manual. But something landed her on the Guardian Angel Affairs radar, and he guesses it has something to do with the heart-pounding stunts she’s determined to check off her Dare I Docket list.

Keeping Olive out of trouble is about to be his toughest Assignment. He’s at real risk of shattering the only Guardian Angel code of conduct rule he’s yet to break: Don’t fall in love with your Assignment. And he isn’t so sure that’s a bad thing.

If love doesn’t play by the rules, why should they?

This was exactly what I needed right now. Book three in the supernatural singles series, I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this one. This one centres around Olive Maxwell, the third sister of the Maxwell's. She is a bit of a bookworm and avoids adventure, until she sets her students an assignment to do things outside of their comfort zones and she decides to do the same. She has recently moved in with Bax Donovan, a guardian angel and part of their friend group. However she's had a crush on him for a while, and it seems he feels the same. He's not doing too well at work, the GAA has given him one last assignment to prove his worth, however he wasn't expecting Olive to be his assignment. I absolutely loved this one well written, emotional yet fun and humorous, this was exactly what I needed right now. The romance was just spot on. Possibly my favourite one so far!

I found out after starting this one that it was the third in a series. With that being said, it absolutely can be read as a standalone book and I loved it.

I loved the entire friend group, and I loved the chemistry and relationship between Bax and Olive. It was a witchy, supernatural, friends to lovers with tattoos and piercings, mutual pining, and just a really sweet story all around!

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press, St. Martin's Griffin for an eARC of Not Your Crush’s Cauldron!

Equal parts witty and hilarious and utterly romantic! I was so blessed to be an ARC reader for Not Your Ex’s Hexes and absolutely adored Not The Witch You Wed. The series focuses on three sisters and, in Not Your Crush’s Cauldron, we finally get to read Olive’s story! The chapter titles, as usual, made me giggle out loud and the romantic scenes made me blush. I love a good witchy rom com and April Asher writes the most delightful witchy rom coms I’ve had the pleasure to read!

This series is such a joy and I loved jumping back into it! Olive and Bax were hilarious and horny. There were a ton of fun scenes and I loved seeing the characters from other books.

I definitely need a Harper book now!!

Bonus: hilarious chapter titles

This is book 3 of the Supernatural Singles series, it is a great continuation. I have not read the other 2 and still found this book fun to read and easy to follow. This book has a fun rom-com witchy feel. I will recommend it and will be a great read for around Valentines.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.

This was really good! I was pulled in from the very beginning. I couldn't put this down. I love the development of the story and characters. I have been reading a lot of fantasy recently, and getting into a romance really brought me back and reminded me why I love them. I thoroughly enjoyed April's other books and I fell in love with this one too! I loved it. If you enjoy romance or paranormal romance, definitely grab this one!
