I absolutely loved this rom com! There was so much information regarding the location and the characters. The author absolutely knew how to be descriptive, and it made the book 10x better! I loved how the feelings between the characters improved a lot throughout the story. The siblings giving the family feel to Ophelia who didn’t know the feeling was such an emotional yet intense part of the book. I’m glad they gave into their feelings for each other. The postcards were a great touch to show the emotion that Adam felt and that was what got through to his mother. Adam, being the soon to be best book boyfriend, jumped into action once he heard of Ophelia’s birthday was the next day and had a birthday surprise ready for her. It was perfect!

Overall, this book had me hooked from the moment I started reading it as I finished it in one day.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a great rom com, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, one bed, coworkers to lovers, and a crazy family dynamic. This would be one that I would love on my bookshelf one day and I’m sure many others would feel the same when they read it as well.

Thank you to NetGalley and Florence Fields for gifting me this ARC in exchange for my honest review!

I fell in love with this book! If you’re looking for a rom-com to check out, definitely grab this!

Ophelia is a fashion journalist who attends a holiday party where she clashes with Adams who is an outdoors journalist that spills red wine on her dress. From there, they are enemies but we all know that love is always in the air.

They end up on a work trip together that ends up changing both their lives.

Adams's siblings and dad were great and I was happy to see his mom come around. They made Ophelia feel like she had a true family.

Adam is simply amazing. He’s so caring, the wonderful birthday surprise, standing up to his mother and the postcards.

I could not put this book down. If you love enemies to lovers, one bed, or workplace romance then you will love this book.

Thank you, NetGalley for the EARC! As always, my review is my opinion and thoughts. This review will be shared on my Instagram (@Alexandriavwilliams_) shortly.

Well when I started this book at 2 AM was I expecting to be awake until 4 AM because I couldn’t put it down? no not particularly. Let me just say though that I freaking loved it! I love that “philly” (i loved her nickname) was such a character. I enjoyed the development of their relationship over time and the fact that Adam realized quickly that she was a fashion wit but actually a human being. I wish we could've got to learn more of the family situation but overall the book was addicting and I could not put it down.

A great enemies-to-lovers, workplace romance. Ophelia and Adam had a rather terrible meet cute, so the resentment towards each other was excusable. Then catastrophe stroke on Ophelia and she found herself in dire need of a fellow journalist travel buddy. Consequently the forced proximity and the one bed situation could work their magic. Ophelia and Adam got to know each other and warmed up to each other that helped the ever-present attraction to grow exponentially. Their moments together were charming and tension-filled. The epilogue was so sweet and enviable. I really liked the traveling part and the time spent with Adam’s family as well.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me a copy of the book.

Ticket to You by Florence Fields is a delightful and engaging romantic comedy that follows the unlikely pairing of Ophelia Brooks and Adam Abrams, two journalists with seemingly opposite personalities and interests. When a disastrous set-up brings them together, they become enemies, vowing to avoid each other. However, fate intervenes when their publishing company faces layoffs, forcing them to work together to save their careers.

Fields skilfully develops the chemistry and tension between Ophelia and Adam as they embark on a week-long work trip in Europe. Against the backdrop of picturesque scenery and adrenaline-filled interviews, they discover unexpected connections and shared experiences. The author's vivid descriptions bring the settings to life, immersing readers in the journey alongside the characters.

Ticket to You is a heart-warming and entertaining story that explores the themes of serendipity, personal growth, and the transformative power of unexpected connections. With its lively and relatable characters, witty banter, and a sprinkle of romance, this novel is a delightful escape into a world of adventure and self-discovery.

Ophelia and Adam are “book couple” perfection! Both giving and taking at the right moments. The story was great with witty moments that have you smiling as you read them. As a reader, I’m not necessarily looking for a new storyline as I am writing that “comes off the page” and feels real. You get that with Ticket To You. Wonderful read!

Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for giving me early access to read this book! Ticket to You was a really fun, charming read, and something I absolutely loved was that the characters got to travel around Europe together! So many romance novels tend be stagnant in location, based around an office, a home town, etc, so the fact that the characters get to hop around and go on adventures together really captured my enjoyment.

I would like to start with i JUST finished the book. The file is still open on my computer and i usually collect my thoughts a bit more before writing a review but oh my goodness this book was so sweet there are still tears streaming down my face. I will absolutely be raving about this until my friends are so sick of me that they get the book and read it themselves. Ophelia and Adam are just the perfect balance of snarky, romantic, and persistent. i couldn't get enough of this and ended up reading the book all in one day. Gemma is such a great side character for how she interacts with both of the main characters, she's so genuine and motherly and you can just tell she wants nothing but the best for the both of them and will stop at nothing until they're both happy. Ophelia is so determined and strong but still so bright and bubbly and Adam perfectly balances that out with his outward quiet broody persona that covers just how much he worries and cares for those around him. I will absolutely be rereading this.

Ticket to You was picture (or postcard) perfect. An enemy to lovers story that transported me to every beautiful location these two traveled to. It was near impossible to put this book down and the ending gave me all the teary-eyed, fuzzy feelings I love from a romance novel.

Ophelia and Adam’s first run in with each other was exactly that- a full on collision. The two journalist who lived and breathed their jobs were being set up to meet by a mutual friend at a work event which, from the get go, didn’t go as planned. Sparks did not fly as expected and the two went their separate way only to be reunited a few months later on an important work trip that had both of their jobs at stake. An overseas adventure that forced the two polar opposite journalist into close quarters which led them to eventually getting to know one another better and feelings quickly developed into a whirlwind romance. Adam revealed he was leaving his job to start his own magazine which would separate the two for longer than they were willing to part. Ophelia is faced with tough decisions regarding what she loves and who she loves and with some guidance and reflection she follows her heart to the one who stole it.

I absolutely adored this book and look forward to more in this series in the future!

I received an advance review copy from NetGalley for my honest review. I requested the book because not only is the cover adorable, but the synopsis itself drew me in. I love enemy to lover stories, forced proximity and a dash of travel for good measure!

If you follow @authorflorencefields (and you should, she’s a graphic design wonder!), she says she “wants to write books that remind you of 00s rom-coms.” And she’s done JUST THAT. Ticket to You reminded me of the best of them…think Devil Wears Prada, Bridget Jones Diary, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Two Weeks Notice, The Proposal.

A note: just like the romcom’s of our youth, the story is light on spice. I know, I know…but I would like to point out that I didn’t miss it. And I read a lot of Kindle Unlimited, if you know what I’m talking about. But even if you appreciate spice, I think you should give this a read! I loved it. And if you appreciate a good PG-13 rating, this one is right up your alley.

I can’t wait to read the next book by Florence Fields!

This enemies to lovers, forced proximity rom-com made me feel ALL the feels! Such a light hearted, quick read. Adam and Ophelia were made for each other! I cried quite a few times at how sweet and genuine the scenes were. The family relationships, the character development, the feelings! I can’t recommend this book enough, especially if you love happy endings

I absolutely loved this book from the very beginning. The story, the spice, the banter, the longing looks; I didn't know I was missing this exact book from my life until I read it. I think one of the first aspects of the book that made me feel immediately 5 stars was the fact that the FMC was a tall girly!! As someone forever part of the tall girls' gang I loved this. You never really get FMC over 5'8" so it was refreshing to see the tall girl get the tall guy for once. This book was so fun to read and had me giggling one minute and shaking my fist at the sky the next because I felt a rollercoaster of emotions. If you're looking for a good fast-paced book with both the vibes of summer and winter traveling, then this book is right up your alley. This book is a workplace enemy to lovers with funny banter and comforting moments. I really enjoyed this book and Florence Fields' writing style and can't wait for her next release!!

First thought: An adorable enemies to lovers, workplace romance that is wholehearted and gives you the warm fuzzies.

Ophelia is a journalist at a fashion magazine. She followed her dreams after her grandparents passed away in her early 20s. She sold everything and risked it all to move to NYC to pursue her dream and she is making it. She just launched a new travel series that she pitched and piloted but now with budget cuts it’s all in jeopardy. To prove she’s worth keeping she gets one more chance.

Adam is an award winning journalist for his work in the outdoors sports space. He comes from a well off family that breeds doctors, he has 4 siblings and guess who’s the only disappointment? This year has been tough, the magazine is struggling and his friends are being let go. His editor wants to introduce him at the holiday part to her friend but once he finds out she works in fashion he questions her journalistic skills. Little did he know she overheard him and now he has to endure the wrath of Ophelia.

Fate pairs them togther on an epic week long adventure in Europe. This is Ophelia’s last chance to keep her dream job, she won’t even let Adam get in her way. They will have to learn to work together, trust each other and find a way to get along.

This is a classic feel good read that is told in a dual perspective so you can connect with both Adam and Ophelia. It is so well written you will be transported with them on their journey for both work and love. This is a perfect summer read.

Book launches on July 23rd 2023 but you can pre-order now! Go grab it friends. 💜💜💜

This was such a sweet and fast pace romance. I loved the enemies to lovers trope. I absolutely loved this and my only complaint was that I wish the book had been longer. Seriously couldn’t get enough of Adam and Ophelia.

If you’re loving for a quick romance read the n pick this up because I couldn’t put it down.

Enemies to lovers ✔️
Workplace romance ✔️
Only one bed ✔️
Forced proximity ✔️
Fade to black ✔️

This is a fun rom-com about Ophelia who works at a fashion magazine but wants to start a travel section. Budget cuts means she has to tag along on a trip with another colleague from a different magazine, same company though. Cue Adam he works for Outdoorsy, they already had a disastrous meeting at the company party. Now they need to spend several days in several countries together, what could possibly happen?

I love these characters they had great sarcastic banter, fun interesting jobs and a great connection to each other. I thought there was some super cute touches, such as Adam with his postcards and the strawberry watch. We also see great family dynamics with Adam's siblings, a rocky relationship with his parents but I loved seeing the development with that. To be perfectly honest this is a fun, cosy, rom-com and I cannot wait to own a physical copy of it. Pick it up on July 23rd.

Thanks to netgalley, the publisher and the author for an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

This book is a very light and fun summer read, bring it with you on vacation while poolside or on the beach. It’s a perfect palate cleanser if you have been reading darker novels lately like I have.

Ticket to You is a workplace romance that has all of your favorite tropes: one bed (more than once), forced proximity, and the classic enemies to lovers. Ophelia and Adam are both incredibly smart journalists, Ophelia is in fashion and travel and Adam in outdoors. In the beginning, they bump into each other and Adam spills red wine on her one of a king vintage dress. To make things worse, Ophelia overhears Adam saying some not so nice things. Later, Ophelia’s job is on the line and the only one that can help her is Adam and his trip through Europe. What could go wrong?

There is fade to black scenes and I do think the switch from enemies to lovers was fast, but I love that kind of thing, but if you don’t this might not be the book for you. I really enjoyed seeing the mc’s do their interviews, I think that is where I really connected to them the most, especially Ophelia. I also really enjoyed Adam’s postcards- I just might try to start doing that with my travels! Their banter was great and all of the characters really were lovable.

What an adorable and lighthearted enemies to lovers rom-com that will have you smiling, laughing and crying! I absolutely loved this book so much! Once I started reading I could not put it down! I am just blown away that this is a debut novel!?! How is this possible?? Honestly, if you enjoy Emily Henry books you will love this one! I cannot recommend it enough!! ALL the feels!! One of my favorite rom-coms for 2023!!🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

Ophelia and Adam are both journalist working for the same publishing company. After a horrible encounter at the company holiday party, Ophelia considers Adam to be pretentious and judgmental. Basically, she never wants anything to do with him. Three months later, Ophelia learns that the company is laying off people and her job is in jeopardy. They give her one more chance to prove that she is worth saving. In order to accomplish this task, Ophelia will have to take a weeklong work trip to Europe with Adam. Reluctantly, she agrees to the trip because she will not let him blow this chance for her. Will they be able to work together and get along? What could possibly go wrong? Do they have more in common than they thought or are they truly complete opposites? Eventually, every trip comes to an end!

Overall, this is a quick and delightful read that has everything I love in a rom-com! Plus this cover is sooo cute!!! Do yourself a favor and read this book!! ALL the stars!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

4.5 stars! 🌟

Ticket to You by Florence Fields was such a fun enemies to lovers debut romance! We focus on Ophelia Brooks, who is a journalist for a high end fashion magazine, and Adam Abrams, who is a journalist at an outdoors magazine. They both work for the same parent company, and have quite the (bad) introduction at a holiday work party. Ophelia immediately chalks Adam up to be pretentious and judgmental, while Adam assumes Ophelia is vapid and conceited. This couldn't be further from the truth.

Our story takes place a few months after that party when Ophelia and Adam are forced to work together on an overseas trip. I loved the character development, banter, and storyline of this whole book. It will be coming out July 23rd to paperback, e-book, and Kindle Unlimited. I highly recommend picking this up!

Thank you to NetGalley and Florence Fields for the ARC! All opinions are my own :)
