I was gifted this book kindly by the author on Net Galley in the same week my cat died . It turned out to be a great way for me to remember all the behaviors and lovely aspects of our cats. Mr. Jinx comes into the authors life and becomes her emotional support and best friend after the author suffered the loss of her husband by divorce and suffered from depression and a eating disorder. I admit i thought the cat over the husband was the best choice for the author and Mr. Jinx proved his worth to her in his life many times over. He is a amazing cat very much in tune with his human. I enjoyed the way the chapters related to our cats and how they save our lives and change us for the better. A excellent must read for all cat lovers. Well done to the author. I highly recommend this book for all cat lovers.
