What a great children’s resource. This book is full of different games from around the world. I love that there were games that would fit anyone’s needs, from single person game to large group games, as well as inclusive games that anyone could play regardless of their ability level. The illustrations were also very inclusive which is great to see. The little tips, tricks, and facts about each game really sets this book apart as not just a book for play but also a book for learning.

This book focuses on games around the world, where they are played, what is needed to play, how to play it. Most of the materials are easy to get access to. The book had a good selection of locations.

What a fantastic resource! I will definitely be buying this in hardcopy for my classroom. This book.is beautifully illustrated either easy steps to teach you how to play games from around the world. The book is divided into games for one person, two, three and then bigger groups. Each game.has a clear explanation, lovely pictures and some information about where in the world the game originated from. We do a topic on 'Our Big Wide World' and this book would be perfect.

This is a fun and educational book. It has so many games and ideas that can be adapted. The games are for broken into sections for one player, two players, small groups or large groups. I often substitute in PE for an elementary school and I can easily adapt many of the small or large group games for that setting. I like that it includes a country of origin and tells a little about the game as well as giving clear directions. I can see educators using it when talking about different countries as too. Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for a temporary ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.

What a fun way to learn about children in other countries. I love that the book is divided up into sections based on how many players are needed. It is also very helpful that the supplies needed are listed right at the top.

A boredom buster! If your kids ever tell you they are bored, this is the perfect book to give them new ideas for play. Not only does the book provide tons of games, it also has them sectioned out by different amounts of players to participate. So there are games for a kid who may want to play by themselves, with one other person, a small group, or even a big group. I also loved how the book shows how common certain games are played thoughout the world, and yet at the same time showcases little known games from other cultures. I can see this being a great tool for parents that want to provide new play options to their children. It can also be great for teaching about geography or different cultures while providing an active and engaging element to the lesson.

This cheerfully illustrated book is jam packed with fun ideas from around the world. Organized by the number of players (from one to a big group), there are so many excellent ideas to occupy kids. Yay!! Things that kids can enjoy away from the computer.

Helpful information for each game is included. For example, inside or outside; what is needed to play, the directions (of course) and more. Start with the well known “Rock, Paper, Scissor” and keep turning the pages for more ideas. There are so many good ones.

Highly recommended for kids you know. The games are fun, involving, creative and (I say again) not on computers or tablets or phones.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for this title. All opinions are my own.

Let's Play is an exploration of games from around the world. There are sections for single player games, two-player games, games for 3-5 kids, and games for bigger groups. I love the diversity of games here. There are games from all over the world. There are physical and mental games. There is something for everyone! This would be a wonderful book for the classroom!

Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to review this eARC in exchange for my honest review on the book!

The graphics are super cute, the font is easily read, and the layout makes it quick to find what you are looking for. I highly recommend this book to all families and teachers. Wow! That is some damn awesome research! That too on games from all corners of the globe! How do you do that?! Google is one thing but this?! Short, colourful book that has all the most unique and unheard games for one/two/three or a group of friends?

I totally believe that we all need this book. Games isn’t just screen games we all want to yell but it’s time to show the kids that actual games are more fun to play! You won’t believe me how diverse and exciting these games are. Their details and their place of origin are distinctly given which I truly admire.

A must keep and a must share book!

Thank you, Quarto Publishing Group, for the advance reading copy.

Great children’s activity book to keep children entertained. It comes with lots of activities and each activity is labeled showing how many people are required to participate. Great for a rainy day or a day off where children need to be off screens and find another activity to keep them busy.
