Sequoia Foster knows the job of a troubleshooter for her magic society. It’s about cleaning up after magical lovers’ quarrels and delivering food to elderly witches. It’s about referring newcomers to appropriate magical services. Boring stuff, really.
She shouldn’t be dealing with a surge in creepy, blood-hungry magicians who see her members as tasty snacks. She definitely shouldn’t be responsible for an annoying, terminally tragic, little girl who may or may not be under a terrible curse.
