Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me a copy of this beautiful book.

First off, the illustrations are gorgeous. The colors are so pretty, I want to hang the pages on my wall.

I read this with my 5 year old who loves non-fiction books about animals. The stories were uplifting and we loved hearing about how people are working to save our planet. The stories kept him engrossed as well as being something I enjoyed reading to him (which isn’t always the case with children’s books!). It was fun to learn about new animals and places. He’s excited to take what he learned and help out, and I’m excited he’s excited.

We really enjoyed reading the stories in Rewild the World at Bedtime. It was a fresh idea to turn information into stories, we found them very uplifting and full of hope that we may be able to save our planet with a little bit of hard work and letting nature do her thing rather than trying to control it.

Each chapter was the perfect length to read before bed and allowed for plenty of discussion. The illustrations are beautiful and really brought the stories to life. The only problem is now we want to visit everywhere in the book! Now we have plans to rewild our garden

EXCELLENT book! I am very passionate about wildlife conservation, and this book sang with the beautiful stories of unique souls burdened with a passion to preserve our wild world.

I also think this would be a great science resource for schools & homeschool moms! Each story is true, and explains the importance of each animal’s purpose in enriching our world.

I will highly recommend 👏🏻

In the description for Rewild the World at Bedtime ‘makes learning about the environment engaging and fun. It supports a healthy curiosity and interest in animals and the natural world, and its positive, hopeful message makes it perfect for children at bedtime’ and I couldn’t agree more with that.

Visually this book is beautiful, the cover alone drew me in and my daughter loved the drawings of the animals throughout and spotting all the different animals.

All the stories shared facts about the animals from all over the globe and I found myself learning from it too, plus the variety of species covered was a really nice mix.

The stories were easy to follow and understand plus the length of the stories was just right for bedtime, letting us decide how many to squish in before bed.

Fabulous read, visually beautiful!

As a mom of a three year old bookworm at his peak curiosity years, this book is perfect not just for bedtime stories, but for awareness of his surroundings, nature and the wildlife. The book includes twenty stories about animals across the world. That stepping back and letting nature rewild itself to recovery will take time and effort, but it is one of the ways we can save the future of not just wildlife, but mother nature herself.

The book has very engaging illustrations and my toddler’s favorite so far are the stories of the wolves, elephants, the monarch butterflies and pandas.

This is a perfect book to include in your home library and schools. A definite 5 star read.

This is a good book about how farmers farm and all the ins and outs. The illustrations are gorgeous. I recommend this book.

We need a lot more of this in the world. This book talks about rewilding the world at bedtime, but I would recommend this for everyone, even high school kids. Science classes could read a section at a time out loud and discuss what happened.
The thing this book provides that is so rare nowadays is HOPE. There are so many stories of how what was thought to be lost was brought back by people who cared. I was trying to decide: what was my favorite story, the one about the pandas, the butterflies, the otters? It was the beavers, who came back to a neighborhood where the people who lived there did not want them. Then there was a storm, a lot of water built up, and all the homes were safe from flooding because of all the hard work the beavers had been doing.
More of this please!

This book is an absolutely beautiful compilation of worldly stories telling of ways people in different places are making efforts to save our planet. So pertinent to everything happening in the world today, this book encourages kids and their parents to learn more about ways in which we humans can contribute to the "rewilding" of the planet. It is really amazing the way it has been compiled to educate children and their parents on the ways in which the earth is changing and the fact that we need to come together worldwide to protect it. I love this book and what it stands for. My kids may be a little young at 6 and 3 to sit through the stories that are told, but I will be adding it to our library so that I can teach them these important stories as they grow older.

This may be my new all time favourite bedtime story book to read with my son. It was so beautiful but also educational, I read two stories with him which led to questions and discussions about nature and animals and their habitats. I enjoyed it that much that I continued reading to myself after he fell asleep! The illustrations are lovely, and I think it will be widely enjoyed by children world wide.

This is a magical collection of childrens stories, beautifully illustrated throughout, informative and reassuring. The various stories from around the globe welcome the reader into our natural world as if it were magical kingdom. Here are tales of rewilding, repopulating and reintroducing animal species. The stories connect children to nature and wildlife in a way that is reassuring and positive about environmental concerns. This is a beautiful compendium of positivity that is much needed to show children that action is being taken to protect the environment and their is hope for endangered species.

Very sweet book you can read to your children at bedtime. Each story starts with a problem and ends with it solved when people work together to fix the problem. The stories are long enough that just one story a night would be fun to read to your child at bedtime.

I loved this book. It is the perfect book to read to a small child who does not have a long attention span. Each story is self-contained and had lovely artwork to maintain focus. They are also short enough to read when you only have a short time to read. It has a format that children are used to reading and that parents can read an entire story each night, so you don't have to worry about finishing the next chapter before going to sleep.
For those who love nature and learning about nature, no matter what age you are, you should read this, You can learn about how we can help nature and the wildlife in your area.
If I had a small child or grandchildren, I would give them a copy of this book.

This book is beautiful. It provides 20 short stories about how animals and their environments were impacted by various events around the world, from Yellowstone USA, to Ukraine, and Argentina. My 5 year old absolutely loves this book. We will be rereading it frequently. He asks so many questions in his process to connect the dots these stories bring up. Such a great book!

Rewild the World at nighttime offers wonderful insights for curious children. It could be a child's non fiction, teaching them about preserving wildlife and nature in a child-appropriate way. The chapters are a perfect length to be read to youngsters at nighttime without them losing interest or dozing off and are great conversation openers. I particularly loved the illustrations, they are quite busy and leave a lot to discover.

This book brought to light so many interesting stories! I thought they were so engaging and taught such important lessons. I do not know if it was the best stories for bedtime necessarily. However, this book definitely is a great book to teach kids that we need to let nature be nature and work with natures' ways. The illustrations were also so beautiful. I loved seeing each one as I read the stories.

This is a beautiful story that takes you on a journey with animals all over the world. It’s a great way to teach my son about the world around us and just how big and beautiful it is. This would be a great book to bring out a map or a globe to show your little ones where each story takes place! Beautifully written and illustrated.

What a book! This book is filled with information that is easy to read, with wonderful illustrations about what we have almost lost from this earth. If an adult finds this book wonderful and interesting, I am sure children will also. Just finding all the different animals in the drawings is fun in itself. The information is presented in a simple but educational manner that would hold a child's interest, make them want to know more and not even have them realizing they are learning. I only have one question...why is "at Bedtime", part of the title? This perfect book could and should be read at anytime! I thank NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group/ Wide Eyed Publishing.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for letting me experience this beautiful book.
The illustrations are so beautiful and I love the composition of them that perfectly align with the story and fully immerse you into a different world on each page. The stories are well thought out, with many details on each animal that it focuses on. Although it goes into depth on the environment, history, issues the animal is currently facing, and what can be done, this book is still very easy to digest and is a great book for children. I will be requesting that my library purchases this when it gets published.

This book is absolutely stunning. I requested this for my son, he's only 2 so it's a bit of an advanced book for him but we both loved it none the less, he loved the illustrations, pointing out the animals he knows and telling me their noises excitedly. I love the way the book is written, non fiction can be difficult to make fun or engaging but this book has definitely done that in it's 'storytelling/fairytale' writing style. I will absolutely be purchasing this book as an addition to my little ones bookshelf.

Thank you NetGalley & Quarto Publishing Group for this ARC.

This book was WONDERFUL. I read it to my children and they were so enthralled. They are big advocates for the environment, and seeing how humans can help and live in harmony with the earth instead of against it was beautiful and inspiring to see. The writing was simple enough for kids to understand, and the illustrations were beautiful. I’d recommend this to all kids.

What a clever idea with the different focus points with the different animals breaking up a longer book. Illustrations were beautiful as well.

This is absolutely a masterpiece! I could not praise this book enough. I was expecting it to have just a few short paragraphs here and there, just like some other non-fiction books. But every topic in this book is presented as a story which makes it all the more engaging. And the illustration blew me away. I love this book. I love, Love, LOVE this book.

Will definitely buy it when it is out.

We absolutely loved this beautifully illustrated bedtime story collection. These lovely educational stories about rewilding the world are soft and perfect for bedtime. My family who are Dutch absolutely love the inclusion of Nijmegen and the rewilding of the areas around the dikes. I was an excellent way to help my niece understand the need for wild places.

Rewild the World at Bedtime by Emily Hawkins is a compilation of 20 short bedtime stories, presented as short fairy tales, about at-risk animals across the globe. Often beginning with “Once upon a…” time/place, each tale is only a few pages long and filled with facts about wildlife, ecosystems, and ways we have already brought about positive change to support the animals we coexist with. This is ultimately a book of hope to be shared with our children, reading to them about the delicate balance of our environment and our responsibility to it.

A wonderful collection of stories from around the world. Each is designed to showcase ways diverse places and humans have learned to work with nature, not against. Beautifully illustrated, I imagine each story leading to discussion and appreciation. Heck, while aimed at children, this book is a great read for anyone who cares about our world and nature. Rather than made up, fantastical stories to entertain, these use reality to both entertain and inform. The illustrations are lovely, well thought out, and each story is illustrated with fascinating artwork, some of it along the edges (all with labels) as well as full scenes as the story closes. In other words, lots to see and hear and there's even a glossary and index.

I won't even try to pick a favorite story although I'm partial to wolves, so that one piqued my interest. So, too, did the info on the water buffalo project in Ukraine as I couldn't help but wonder how the war may be impacting these efforts. That's one probably unintentional way of reminding us that nature and man's efforts are always in flux and we need to pay attention. I should add that each story is short, 4-6 pages, with most in the four page range. All are positive and generally uplifting, maybe even inspiring as the world's resilience is again and again showcased. This would make a lovely gift for both child or adult, quite frankly. Thanks #NetGalley and #QuartoPublishingGroup - #WideEyedEditions for sharing this with me. The cover is beautiful.

This book by Emily Hawkins is an absolute joy to read. It's brimful of hope from real, rewilding projects all over the globe. This would have been a delight to share with my children when they were younger.
The illustrations by Ella Beech are beautiful.

This is a beautiful book for all ages!

The illustrations are beautiful and inspiring.

The stories are brief and hopeful.

It worked better for us as a quick read during a break than at bedtime (my kid is more in the mood for fiction at that time of day), but I would recommend it! It would also make a lovely coffee table book, or a lovely addition to a guest bedroom nightstand! It's meant to be a children's book, but I think people of all ages would enjoy learning about these beautiful relationships between wild animals and humans.

ARC provided by NetGalley and Wide Eyed Editions in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book not only for my children but for myself as well. When diving into wildlife conservation it’s so easy to focus on the negatives and what has happened in the past. This book focuses on uplifting stories all over the world where nature has been allowed to heal and “rewild” itself. I definitely recommend this book for kids of all ages.

This book is so beautiful! The art and the stories are both stunning! It seems a little too long to read all of it with my 2.5 year old but one or two stories before bed have been perfect!

This is such a sweetly illustrated book, and the stories are really fascinating. My 6 year old told me it was a 5/5 star read, and that she loved it.

The stories are engaging, using vocabulary a little advanced for the 6 year old age. We took the opportunity to learn more about the species mentioned in the stories, going on to the internet to find photos and videos to support the book.
