OMG I absolutely LOVED this book, I couldn't put it down until I finished. I really loved the Native American representation and also the LGBT+ representation. Can't wait to recommend this book to others!!!

I devoured this book. A lot of the contemporary paranormal romances just use like a hint. But this went all out.
Penelope is one of my new favorite leads. She is very real for her first instinct to be run away and later think things through. And there being an actual mystery in the book hooked me that much more.
I cannot wait to read more. Also I loved the side characters. There wasn't really anyone I dreaded popping up.

A retreat for authors suffering from writer’s block is hosted at a Scottish castle with paranormal activity. Rival authors Penelope and Neil find themselves trapped together at this retreat, and their enemies to lovers relationship and hilarious banter were such a pleasure to read. This book had me hooked from the start, and I couldn’t put it down! Highly recommend this book for your next paranormal romance.

I adored everything about this book! It was unique and spooky, and I had the best time reading this! I loved the dynamics between all the characters, and had a lot of fun with the side mystery plot as well! I think their chemistry was extremely well done and I loved these characters a lot! I think the pacing was perfect, and I had a hard time putting this book down without constantly thinking about them! The setting was so different and fun, and I think it was such a fun idea! This is a fantastic, well written debut novel and I am extremely excited to read more from her! I will post a full review on my socials closer to release since it’s still a bit of time before release!
