You’re Still My Favorite is a sweet story about the unconditional love of a mother squirrel for her little girl squirrels. The little girls think of all the reasons that they wonder if they are their mother’s favorite and every time she reassures them of her love for them. The illustrations are adorable. The addition of their pet worm adds extra interest to the illustrations and the storyline. This would be a good story to snuggle up and read before nap time.

There is one scene that really touched my heart. When one of the little squirrels asks the mother if he would still be her favorite even if he is picked last for a relay team. It is so important for our kids to know that no matter what happens or who does or doesn't like them, have no effect on their mother's love.

Beautifully written.

The illustrations were adorable. Very colorful and allowed for my littles to stay engaged with the story. We always look for the little details in illustrations like the small colorful flowers, small bugs hidden in the background.

Thank you NetGalley, Amy Weatherly, Sawyer Cloud, and Tommy Nelson for allowing my family to review.
