Her twin Lily may have something to say about that. The two girls are already at odds over Lily marrying a man simply for money and social position. And Alix is beginning to flashbacks to the events surrounding her father’s death when she was a child. Determined to uncover the truth she enlists her uncle, who will risk everything for the answers.
A fascinating historical novel that will appeal to romance readers as well as those looking for a little mystery with their story
