Every child has heard the stories – legends about creatures that live beneath the waves, creatures just waiting to snatch and eat children. Jess has certainly heard the stories, but has dismissed them as fables – until her best friend goes missing. It turns out that the legends are based in reality. While trying to save her friend, Jess meets a selkie and he’s not at all what she imagined. Caught between her own world and that beneath the waves, Jess will have to choose between two very different “men” and two very different lives.
The legend of the selkie plays center stage in this YA paranormal romance. Well written with fast pacing, this will be a hit with the YA crowd.
