A great how to guide for hiking for children, this has great pictures to explain what to do and what not to do when spending time in nature.
Hiking 101 is an informational books about camping and outdoor activities for kids. It covers a wide range of tips, but stays brief enough not to lose a kid's attention. This would be a great prep book for kids who may be camping for the first time.
