WOW absolutely love this book.

There are so many “billionaire” romance books out there that I was actually unsure when I picked out “No Rest for the Wicked”.

And quite frankly, I was pleasantly surprised that there truly was a story behind the bad boy billionaire Sebastian Warren that made the book an engaging read!

Alright, I have to accept, I’ve been burned before with “billionaire” themes because sometimes the premise and the story are so outrageous. But not “No Rest for the Wicked”. Author Katherine Garbera crafted the two main characters - Sebastian Warren and Celeste Beacon to be three-dimensional that you actually root for them to get a HEA.

Suffering from survivor’s guilt after his best friend died in a racing accident, Sebastian Warren has been taking unnecessary risks for the past 18 months by becoming an adrenaline junkie. Fast cars, fast women and anything to keep his adrenaline going were Sebastian’s constant companion.

A behavioral therapist, Celeste Bacon specializes in troubled teenagers hence taking Sebastian Warren as a client was questionable from day one. Then, she met him and everything went from 0 to 60 in three seconds!

Just like the main character, No Rest for the Wicked is a fast-paced read that sinfully appeals to your senses. The book is Rated M for Mature due to sexual content.

This was a very fast read and I easily read it in one day. I was expecting a light read, and this book was that; but it was so much more. This book had surprising depth for a novel with a good girl falls for the bad boy premise. Sebastian and Celeste have both experienced loss and that connects them. Each of them has dealt with the loss in different ways. The sex scenes were H.O.T. However, the rest of the novel was not just filler to get to more sex. There was actual building of the characters, but I would have liked a slower pace at some points, because a lot happens in a short amount and sometimes things (like character development and the romance) felt so rushed. Overall I really enjoyed this book. It’s definitely new adult, romance, erotica but with surprising depth. Having never read anything from the author before I can say I will definitely be checking out more books from her after reading this one!

Billionaire Sebastian Warren lost his way, when his BFF, Judd, died in car accident as they were racing. As he watched Judd's car burst, he swore that he would live every minute for both of them. So he began a bad boy smorgasbord of wild woman, faster cars, dangerous stunts like shark swimming, with no cage, & too many 1 night stands to count or names to remember.

Celeste Beacon became a tennage grief counselor because she knew & understood grief because she lived it. While 16 & driving, she was involved in a fatal accident that killed her parents & her own soul. Her work helps, but she is still hollow inside. When Seb's parents beg her to help their self destructive son, she only agrees to meet him, because when she looked at his picture, she was drawn to him.

So on the night of his parents' anniversary party, their world collide & Celeste knows this yummy man could never be her patient because he melts her undies & Seb knows that this incredible sexy woman is not his normal 1 nighters. They share an earth shaking kiss, hop in his fast car & she tells him that his NYC apartment should be their next & last stop. What guy would say NO to that? Not Seb, so their push & pull of danger begins with a balcony wall sitting, a hard up against the wall orgasm, a "sliding down wall" after affect, couchly passions & Seb's doesn't walk out, but watches her sleep in his arms, then his bed & panics with feelings & flees.

Celeste wakes up alone, asks her BFF to come get her & walks from his world, as he desperately searches for her. At a fund raiser, they meet again, her as a speaker, him as a supporter (with a naughty Spanish Countess), but they leave together & HELLO AGAIN sex fest with inconvenient feelings unleashed & lightning flashes into their mutual hearts. Only 1 thing could end this blooming love, that right, her secret about his parents! Can Celeste become his inner (his joke, not mine) beacon? Will Seb feel betrayal at the hands of his parents? How will their love blossom or will it detonate? Why oh, why don't stubborn people lay they secrets bare as they do their bodies?

This is my 1st Ms. Garbera romance, but not my last because her writing pulled me under & gave me that all important 1st & last breathes of life. This romance has 2 souls reaching out, craving healing, latching unto the brightness & having bandaides replaced with true mending. Celeste was a strong center-core heroine, but she was only strong for others & grief counseling & her 2nd family were her only hand holds in her guilt filled world. Seb's world was destroyed by seeing his Judd's car explode, but, in my humble opinion, he wasn't embracing danger to die, but to life 2 lives. My mom died in a car accident, while my sister was driving, & the death wounded my world, but my sister self destructiveness killed my hope. Death is rough & you do slowly recover, but GUILT kills & destroyed everything it touches. So my romance peeps, this emotional romance touch me in so many ways to name & Ms. Garbera understood that, lived it out in her Celeste & Seb, but I have to wonder who she lost. Enough with the feelings & let's chat about SEX shall we, my peeps! Ms. Garbera sizzled & singed my Kindle with her HARD up against walls moves, a seductive car interior, kisses that make drunk butterflies loose in your tummy & very few beds involvement & not only did Celeste's pantie melt with wetness, so did mine. I highly recommend this book to all my romance peeps who love a tale with hearts ripping in pain, but heal & begin to mend with the purest of all emotions, LOVE! Ms. Garbera only downfall was it was to short of a story, but she still earns my score of 4 fingers up & 9 toes & I will be devouring any Ms. Garber romances I can find.

Sebastian's parents are very worried about him and they are trying to convince Celeste, a grief counselor to be his therapist but Celeste only works with kids and teenagers and on top of that as soon as she sees Sebastian's pictures she feel a strong attraction to him and she knows she won't be able to be his therapist but she does want to meet him and get to know him better.
I really enjoyed reading about Celeste and Sebastian, they both need to overcome past tragedy in their life in order to move forward and be together.
No Rest for the Wicked was a sexy and emotional novella that I enjoyed reading.

Excellent series kick off. Katherine Garbera offers readers a strong story balanced with steamy passion. The primary couple was extremely vivid, though they were flawed and had tough histories, they engaged my emotions. I was actively rooting for the happily ever after. No Rest For The Wicked was a fast read. think what I liked the most was that the love scenes served as plot points to move the story along; they were integral not afterthoughts. There were times when the dialogue seemed a little clipped, and as a result the story seemed a bit rushed in spots. I definitely liked the secondary characters enough to look for more from this author and the series.

This was a cute sexy story. Very well written. Sebastian & Celeste had amazing chemistry. They had a lot in common, so I think they were highly compatible.

The story is a good one. Plot was well formed - characters well developed. Two lost damaged souls work together to help each other heal and find forever.
I can definitely see that this author will be one I will read more of if the others are as good as this one.

Wickedly fast read, this short book was a good start to a new series! Sexy hot short story with a sexy tortured billionaire living on the edge !

Sebastion Warren up until a year or so ago was a responsible son, dedicated business man but all that changed the day his best freind Judd died in a car accident. And he survived , now he lives Liv in the fast lane Lives for the day because as he saw with Judd one minute you can be fine and the next day gone. Sebastion is determined to live his life to the fullest, to spite his parents and siblings concerns . Sebastion, shark dives, races cars etc, forms no relationships it just one night stands and casuall hookups. With concern growing for him his parent seek help of professional which brings them to Celeste Bacon's door a grief counselor well known for her work with children and teens , but his parents want her , Celeste agrees to meet Sebastion incognito as a guest at a house party but the last thing she expects is to be so outrageously attracted to Sebastion.

Celeste has to decline his parents request especially after falling into bed withhim just after meeting him, both of them have their own survivors guilt , Celeste however has moved on more thanmSenastion and helping others has helped her; but Celeste can not take on Sebastions case as a matter of ethics, you can not be sleeping with your patient!

Celeste ans Sebastion embark on an exillirating affair and being ith her actually starts to make a difference in the choices of entertainment Sebastion chooses, but a luncheon with his parents which he insist she goes to as his girlfreind threatens to unravel everything!

I give this book 4 stars. I found this book to be a pretty enjoyable read. It contains an emotional romantic storyline about survival after loss, healing and taking risks on love. Sebastian and Celeste are two lost souls drawn together first by passion then a mutual desire to get to know one another. Fast paced sexy read. First book for me by this author.

The storyline was a little predictable, but enjoyed it nonetheless!

This is a great story about two lost souls surviving tragedy, one by being lost in herself, life in limbo; the other by taking risks, living like there's no tomorrow. They meet, not quite by chance, and it's sizzling. They become each other's solace to move their lives forward. But, there's one secret holding them at bay, and it could be a deal breaker. Learning to love and learning to forgive. All while have a wicked good time. I love a story where the sparks fly, and there's still a "happily ever after" in the end.
