Description

Event planner Meg Redstone is dreaming of a white Christmas. Twinkling lights, sparkly decorations, and sprigs of strategically placed mistletoe will create a romantic holiday atmosphere for a local couple marrying at the Bar V5 dude ranch. Meg loves making dreams come true for other people, and her new guest services position at the ranch is a dream come true for her. The close-knit staff provides stability and a sense of family. If only that were enough for Meg’s young daughter, Brooklyn, who wants to spend Christmas with her father—a man she’s never met and who wants nothing to do with them.

Ranch foreman Tyler Murphy loves the holidays, but this year, his newest employee has upset Ty’s comfortable, settled lifestyle and taken over his barn with her over-the-top decorations. He admires Meg’s desire to give her kid the perfect Christmas while planning a winter wonderland wedding, but she’s forgotten her roots. He decides to show her that a Montana Christmas is more than glitter and lights, and finds himself enjoying every minute he spends with the pretty single mom and her cute little girl.

Yet, Ty resists the emotions Meg and Brooklyn bring out in him. An instant family is not on his Christmas wish list. He’s promised himself he’ll never do the dad thing again after raising his younger sister, but as the wedding day and Christmas draw near, he finds himself falling hard for both of them. Meg, however, is not interested in a romance with a cowboy like Ty, or any man for that matter. Getting her under the mistletoe is going to take a Christmas miracle . . . or a little help from Santa.

Mistletoe Wedding is a story that charms you from the beginning. A must read if you love reading about cowboys!

This is a cute story, full of all the usual warmth of Marietta. Meg is trying so hard to do her job as brilliantly as possible, while being a good mum, while Ty is one of the strong, quiet types who melts at the sight of small children and kittens. They're both hugely likable and deserving of a happy ending. I did find Ty's stubborn assertions that he didn't want what he clearly did a bit annoying and went on maybe one protest too many, while the ending a little too contrived for my tastes. But on the whole this is cute and enjoyable.

An easy read full of the warmth and delights of the Christmas season. Marietta strikes again

Mistletoe Wedding is book #2 in the Montana Born Christmas series and I enjoyed reading it.

In Mistletoe Wedding we go back to the Bar V5 dude ranch in Montana ([book:Home For Christmas|18743147] and [book:Kiss Me, Cowboy|23203522] )

Meg Redstone just started a new job as an event planner at the Bar V5 Dude Ranch and the first event she needs to plan is Caitlin and Noah's wedding from [book:Mistletoe Magic|18955365].

Meg is a single mom and she is looking for a better life for her and her daughter Brooklyn and the Bar V5 dude ranch in Montana looks like the perfect place for both of them. She has no time for a romantic relationship and she just want to raise Brooklyn and do a good job planning events on the ranch.

Tyler Murphy is the foreman of the ranch and he loves his job and living on the ranch.

Tyler was only 18 when his parents died and he had to take care of his younger sister Rachel since she was only 10 years old. Tyler took care of Rachel for many years and now he's happy to be a single and enjoy life and he's not looking to get married or have kids but as soon as he meets Meg is very attracted to her and he finds himself spending more and more time with her and Brooklyn.

I really enjoyed reading about Meg and Tyler and how they try to make a relationship between them work. I really enjoyed the scenes with Brooklyn, she is such a sweet and smart girl and I also enjoyed reading about the wedding and getting to read more about characters from previous books in the series.

Mistletoe Wedding is a great holiday novella that will make you feel good and put you in holiday spirit.

Another GREAT 'get in the Christmas spirit' story! Honestly, every story I have read regarding the people of Marietta has been awesome! You don't even have to read any of them in order and they are written by multi-authors. It's been a great ride all around.
This particular story was short and sweet. Of course our hero and heroine are NOT looking for love ;) but maybe they find it and maybe, just maybe a little girl will get what she wants for Christmas! :)
MUST READ!

MISTLETOE WEDDING is the second novella of four in the Montana Born Christmas series. Each one can be read as a stand-alone. It is a quick read and will definitely lift your spirits.

Meg Redstone is an event planner at the Bar V5 Dude Ranch. She loves making dreams come true, and she’s good at it. She is planning Caitlin and Noah’s wedding (from Mistletoe Magic). It will be magical – she’ll see to that. She wants to create a good life for her daughter Brooklyn and this looks like a perfect place for them. This is the first event in her new job, and she wants it to be perfect.

Tyler Murphy is the ranch foreman for the Bar V5. It’s not that he doesn’t like Christmas, but this new event planner has gone way over the top with Christmas decorations in his barn. He understands that she wants to impress, as well as make Christmas magical for her daughter, but this all just seems like a little too much.

Ty was just 18 when his parents died and he took over raising his 10-year-old sister. Now he just wants to enjoy the single life. He is not in the market for marriage, having kids, or even a serious relationship. When he meets Meg and Brooklyn, he finds himself drawn to them, somehow. He finds himself spending more and more time with them. Meg, on the other hand, is not interested in a romance – especially not with a cowboy like Ty…or any man for that matter. Funny how what you don’t want suddenly becomes something that you can’t seem to live without.

Melissa McClone spins a really cute story in a short amount of time. The key characters are well developed and grab you immediately when you meet them. I have to say here that Brooklyn totally steals the show! You just want to yank her out of the book and keep her. What a sweetie!

MISTLETOE WEDDING was a sweet distraction that I thoroughly enjoyed. I think you will, too. It will definitely put you in the holiday spirit!

I read Mistletoe Magic first so I get to see and feel Melissa McClone's writing and I liked it. She actually got me sighing and grinning and dreaming of Christmas as early as October. And that's where I first met fiances Noah & Caitlin who were about to get married in this Copper Mountain Christmas series.

This time, Mistletoe Wedding introduces Meg Redstone, a newly hired event planner at the Bar V5 Dude Ranch. She's a single mom to a a beautiful daughter, Brooklyn, who was really as cute as a button. No wonder little Brooklyn got everyone in the bar/ranch wrapped in her finger. Including Tyler Murphy, the foreman / boss at that ranch.

Now, Ty had noticed Meg and seemed to be attracted to her, however, he didn't like to get involved. For him, he could no longer commit to a relationship with a child in tow, because he already experienced being a mom and dad to her sister when their parents died. He knew what's in store for him if he's going to start a relationship with the event planner, so right then, he told her that they could only stay as friends.

But mistletoe all over the place are intent to make people kiss each other and fall in love. Such is what happened to newlyweds Noah & Caitlin. Meg made sure that their wedding was special and magical, but what about her own heart? It looked like Ty had already closed the door for her and Brooklyn, eventhough it was obvious that he was inexplicably drawn to them. Will they ever spend Christmas together in the near future?

Mistletoe Wedding is such a cute and enjoyable read. I liked all the characters in the story, especially Brooklyn who was really adorable. Her innocent outlook in life always brought Meg and Ty together, that's why I love her! Somehow I noticed, it always makes me feel great whenever I read a Christmas story. Thanks to Melissa McClone for this light-hearted read.

RATING: 4.5 STARS

Mistletoe Wedding by Melissa McClone is book two in the Montana Born Christmas series. I love life at the Bar V5 ranch near Marietta, Montana. Even though I am a warm weather girl, Melissa makes life at this ranch seem so magical, no matter what time of year. But Christmas at the ranch…what could be more magical, especially for a six year old girl named Brooklyn.

Meg Redstone and her little 6 year old daughter, Brooklyn, have come home to Montana. Meg is a single Mom, Brooklyn’s father signed off on his rights as a parent before she was even born. Meg wants a better life for her daughter where she was raised, in beautiful Montana. So she gets the job of a lifetime, event planner at the Bar V5 ranch. She has only been here a month and is still on probation so she is trying to do her best but it’s not hard when she loves her job so much. It’s the day after Thanksgiving and it’s time to start decorating for Christmas. In only three weeks, the ranch will host their first wedding as well which Meg is the planner for.

“She was a mom. No distractions or attractions allowed. Meg had survived the nearly seven years on her own. She would continue to do so here. What didn’t kill a person made them stronger, and she felt immortal after what she’d been through.”

“In this little town, shadowed by Copper Mountain, she’d discovered the one place she thought she’d never find…home.”

I want to insert here that the wedding is for Noah and Caitlin whom we met in a little novella I completely fell in love with last year, Mistletoe Magic. If you haven’t read this, I highly recommend it and you will love it too! Noah and Caitlin aren’t the main characters of Mistletoe Wedding but we still get to revisit them.

Ty Murphy is now part owner of the Bar V5 and is ranch foreman or bossman which Brooklyn likes to call him. He is most definitely every fantasy of a cowboy you can imagine. He is rugged, sexy, but sweet, loves cats, and loves to decorate for Christmas as well. Ty raised his little sister after his parents were killed so he has no interest what-so-ever in a ready made family or ever having children of his own. He is instantly attracted to Meg but he keeps her in the friend zone, determined not to get emotionally involved. But Brooklyn is seriously the sweetest little girl you will ever meet, and she manages to win him over, right along with her Mom.

The mental images of Christmas on the Bar V5 Melissa McClone paints are so beautiful. I can just picture the barn with all the Christmas lights and the wreaths on the stalls of the horses. I loved watching Ty and Meg fight their attraction for each other and I completely fell in love with little Brooklyn. She will be raised with a ranch full of Uncles, tough wranglers that melt around this little girl. This book has me so ready for Christmas but I’m afraid I have a ways to wait since it’s still mid-October.

If you enjoy books about love, Christmas, beautiful snowy Montana with a few sexy cowboys thrown in, this is the book for you. Thank you so much to Melissa McClone, Tule Publishing and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book.

Meg, newly hired event planner at Bar V5 Dude ranch and single mom to Brooklyn (who is just adorable), is planning the wedding for Caitlin and Noah (Mistletoe Magic). Tyler, part owner of the Bar V5 ranch, confirmed bachelor until he meets Meg and Brooklyn and his heart begins to melt.
Loved this book so much, I could close y eyes and just visualize everything. It was great to meet up with previous characters. This book will surely get you in the mood for Christmas. I received this book from NetGalley for an honest review.

4 out of 5 stars!! Tyler (Ty) finds a woman he could truly fall for, if she didn't already have a child it might have been a no-brainer for him but with the magic of Christmas in the air and a little mistletoe, these two might get what they truly deserve for Christmas .... a family.

Out of the three novels I've read by Ms. McClone in her series, I liked this one the best!! This fast-paced holiday romance puts the reader in a festive cheer while you watch Ty & Megan (Meg) work their way through their pasts to find out what they really want for Christmas, which is each other. The plot was sweet, and it made me love all of the characters (main & secondary)!! In addition, while it was a bit confusing because of the question of 'how could Meg's daughter (Brooklyn) know about her father' at the end of the novel, I really liked the endearing way everything was wrapped up and how officially Meg & Ty came together as a couple!

I hope to read more of this lovely town and it's entertaining characters!! I recommend this novel to those who like contemporary holiday romances!!

This is such a sweet love story. I love Brooklyn I feel like even though her part was not as big in the story she made the story what it was. I love the way the story grabs you and keeps you going till the end of the story, a book that makes it hard to put down. This story really put me in the mood for Christmas. I just love love this book.

Great holiday novella with unforgettable characters. Ty, newly free to be single after raising his sister, is not wanting a relationship and definitely not one with a child involved. However, Meg makes him change his mind in this sweet story. This is just one of those the heart wants what the heart wants stories.

Love that the holiday season is here and that there are some great holiday novellas coming out. This is one of the best I've read so far. The Bar V5 has a new employee and ranch foreman can't help but notice. Only problem, she has a daughter. He's done the child raising thing when he had to raise his sister after his parents died so he has a hard fast rule. No kids, ever! Now he just has to hope his heart got the message! You definitely want this one on your holiday reading list. I highly recommend it.

This was a very heartwarming book that I would definitely recommend. Tyler & Megan both have decided that relationships are not what they are looking for for different reasons. Megan's daughter Brooklyn is cute & has a way with Tyler & forces him to realize that things in life don't always go as you planned them to. Megan is also forced to realize that even though she's had one bad marriage already not all guys are the jerk that her ex-husband is. With these awakenings can they both have the family that is ready & waiting for them? Can Tyler get past his fear of commitment? Can Megan allow herself to fall in love again & risk not only her heart but that of her daughters? I will definitely be looking for more from this author.

Single mother Meg Redstone has moved back to Montana to raise her daughter Brooklyn. She has found a job as an event planner at a dude ranch. Ranch foreman Tyler Murphy has raised his younger sister and isn't interested in a woman with a young child, until he meets Meg. Meg isn't interested in a relationship with any man after her experience with Brooklyns father. Will the magic of the Christmas holidays bring them together? Just the book to put you in the holiday mood.

Montana, cowboys, Christmas time, and a bit magic seems to be the winning formula for romance this holiday.
Neither Tyler nor Meg is ready for a relationship, dating, love, commitment. Life isn't just at that point in either of their lives. But then comes Christmas, Meg's adorable six year old daughter, a wedding to be arranged, all the Christmas activities, and before they notice it is already happening; love is all around and they are falling fast, and hard.
It is kind of cute how they both try to fight it, how blind, they both are for the fact that it is already happening, they are falling, and there's no stopping it.
Very sweet, adorable story. I wish it would have continued a bit further along, the conclusion came all too fast for me. But the story was nice, full of Christmas cheer, romance, childlike excitement for the season, and a bit magic

This was a warm and happy Christmas read. They might be fighting it, but you know from the start that the chemistry between Ty and Meg was going to bring them a happily ever after. I liked Ty's growing affection for Meg;s daughter Brooklyn as well. This was a sweet cozy novella, perfect for holiday reading.

Who doesn't love books that is written about love, heartache and at Christmas time. beautiful book.

This was a cute novella that is the second book in the Montana Born Christmas series. The interesting thing about this series is that they are written by different authors. The setting is Marietta Montana and the Bar V Ranch.

Meg has arrived at the ranch to be their event planner and guest services coordinator. She has arrived with six year old Brooklyn. She wants to start a new life for them both without a man in their lives. Brooklyn is Meg's main focus and she doesn't want to introduce men into their lives, with the chance that it could negatively effect Brooklyn. Ranch foreman/part owner Ty doesn't want a wife and family. He raised his sister Rachel from the age of 10 when their parents were killed in an accident. He is enjoying the single, bachelor life.

Brooklyn is a magnet for the ranch hands, including Ty. She is a delightful, precocious little girl who quickly had everyone under her spell. With Ty loving this little girl, it was an easy transition to falling in love with her mother. Because neither of them wants the entanglements of marriage, it is fun to watch them try and fight against their feelings. Of course the background of Christmas always adds that magic to the story in its own right.

A wonderful little romance that any romance lover would love.
