This was a lovely book to read. The stories of learning are nicely written, there is nothing patronising about them and the characters - be they frogs, shopping or things around in the world like the playground, are suitable for children of most ages under 10 as they learn, the reference to the Bible at the end of each chapter helps ground the story in the love and wonder of God and show the perfect nature of His creation.

The Truth of Iss is a beautifully simple yet powerful book that teaches life’s most important lessons through the eyes of an eight-year-old boy. From kindness to faith to the importance of love, Iss shares wisdom in a way that’s easy to understand but deeply meaningful. I really loved how the book encourages both kids and adults to reflect on what truly matters. It’s heartwarming, uplifting, and a great reminder that sometimes the biggest lessons come from the smallest voices.

Okay, who gave this eight-year-old all the wisdom in the world?! 🤯 The Truth of Iss is the kind of book that makes you smile, think, and maybe even tear up a little (don’t judge me). Iss has life figured out better than most adults, and he’s here to drop some truth bombs about kindness, love, and keeping the faith. If you want a feel-good read that’ll make your heart grow three sizes, this is it. Highly recommend for kids AND the grown-ups who need a reminder. ❤️📖😊
