Description

All that, however, is quickly put aside when she becomes the target of a secretive cabal that is intent on unlocking the secrets of witchcraft for their own use once more.
Now, relentlessly hunted by this group, Amelia must find a way to stay one step ahead as she comes to terms with her abilities. But can she evade them long enough to learn how to use the powers she has been granted? Or will they find her before the magic inside her can truly become effective?

This one was such a great book. The world building, character building, descriptions. I love Amelia and Jack. Amelia is such a strong you witch and I love that she always tries to do what's right for everyone not what benefits her the fastest. If you're looking for a great fantasy book with magic, adventure, growth, and action this book is one you need to read.

Such a good book. The Tale of the Young Witch by Joseph Minart and Davon M. Custis is a masterpiece! These authors are fantastic. 5 stars easy!

The story is exciting, but the POV felt weird.
There's something about using the third person that I couldn't enjoy. It felt repetitive.
That's why I couldn't finish this book as fast as I thought.
Either way, if there's a sequel, I would read it (even if I take 2 weeks, again).

Witchcraft has been abolished. Amelia didn't know that she had been born a witch until she turned 17, and discovered that she had magical powers.
The plot takes her on a journey of adventure and sorcery in an attempt to abolish the evil.
This book has taken a very long time for me to read. I lost interest fairly early on due to the excessive word repetition, unnecessary descriptions, making it a very long read, and very badly worded sentences. The plot was good, so if the writing hadn't been so poorly executed, it would have been a more enjoyable read.
