Description
The escapist crime thriller for fans of Below Deck, Lucy Clarke and T.M. Logan
WHEN THERE'S BLOOD IN THE WATER, A FEEDING FRENZY IS SURE TO FOLLOW . . .
The Ophelia is your typical superyacht: luxurious, owned by a ruthless billionaire and staffed by crew who have just one job: keep the guests happy, whatever it takes. Sasha is the latest hire on a week-long Atlantic crossing, and she fits right in. In fact, she could be mistaken for any of the stewardesses: tall, blonde and model gorgeous.
But despite its sleek opulence, the Ophelia isn’t as heavenly as it seems. And when one of the stewardesses is found dead after a night of partying, all eyes turn to Sasha. But she’s not the only one with something to hide and below deck, nothing stays hidden for long.
Endlessly twisty and delightfully voyeuristic, I Did Warn Her is a whodunnit on the high seas, where the dark secrets of the ultra-wealthy have nowhere to hide.

Oh my gosh, I literally was up all night reading this. It was so worth the lack of sleep! I could not force myself to stop I wish I could go back and force myself to slow down, re-read it and savour every moment. I loved it!
This plot had me hook, line and sinker! One of the most gripping, unputdownable, nerve-wracking books that I have EVER read!!! It had me on the edge of my seat throughout!
I’d recommend clearing your schedule before you start it as I read this in one sitting as I could not put it down! I loved the concept and the plot basically everything about it!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars!

I absolutely loved this book! From start to finish, it was a gripping read with a perfect blend of thriller elements and the drama of Below Deck. The fast-paced storytelling kept me hooked, and the mystery element was woven in so well that I was constantly trying to piece everything together.
One of the strongest aspects of the book was its characters. Each one had real depth, and their development throughout the story made them feel incredibly lifelike. At first, I found it a bit challenging to keep up with the multiple POVs, but once I got to know the characters better, following their perspectives became much easier—and even more enjoyable.
The ending was everything I wanted and more. It wrapped up the mystery in a way that was both satisfying and surprising. I couldn’t put the book down and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves a fast-paced thriller with well-developed characters. A solid 5-star read!

Another great read from Sian Gilbert.
Such a twisty story, that kept me turning those pages, wanting to know what would happen next.
With great characters some I loved some I disliked, but they all brought something special to the story.
Thank you NetGalley and Penguin Random House UK for the ARC

Thoroughly enjoyable. I'm a huge fan of this author, her first novel She Started It is one I still think about now, long after reading it. And I'm positive I Did Warn Her will stay with me too. I enjoyed the ocean setting and the unique characters, and the storyline is a complete rollercoaster, absolutely jam packed with shocking twists

Glitzy Whodunit…
The Ophelia - a luxury super yacht with a, perhaps, ominous title - has every single amenity. Owned by a billionaire, fully staffed with a crew who are there to keep guests happy and content. Sasha is the latest recruit, last minute, for the next week long crossing. On her arrival she is perturbed to note that every single stewardess looks exactly like her. To onlookers, the super yacht is the height of hedonism - but something heinous lurks and when a body is discovered, secrets and lies may out. Glamorous and glitzy whodunit in the world of the super rich where nothing is quite as it first appears with a deftly drawn and credible cast of characters populating a pacy and menacing plot. Dark and compelling.

A really good read, gripping and thrilling. I've never watched Below Deck but I imagine it would appeal to fans and is a great thriller.

THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD. It was absolutely gripping, I couldn't put it down and read it over a couple of hours because I had to know what happened. Fantastic

I loved this book ! I’m a massive fan of below deck so when I read this book was similar to the show I had to read it.
This is my first book by the author and I definitely can’t wait to read more.
The main character is likeable and easy to relate to, the other characters have a character have you questioning should you like them.
With so many twist you never know what to expect next.
Thank you for the advanced copy netgallery and Sian

i loved how much of my time this book took up. there is nothing better than having no guilt over how much joy you get from a book and just want to go all in and continue...and on until the end. this book has that for me. it was one of those thriller that are almost joyous in there thrill making, you are almost rubbing your hands together at both the goings on and plot reveals.
the characters not all likeable were still ones i wanted to hear more from every time their point of view came around and only made me more invested the more i new.
the book gives us a super yacht. yes one of those almost disgustingly super super yachts( jealous,me,never) and Sasha gets her dream job as one of the crew. or as we should call it for these types of money shes going to be a stewardess. and she needs this, she needs this escape. but wow little does she know this will not be an escape at all.
when she arrives she finds people who look, well, like her. weird. they are all blonde and beautiful(yawn). to add to being like everyone else she doesnt feel nice feelings off any of them. they are all in it for themselves. and the head member is determined things will run smoothly this time. for they wont be mentioning the missing things or accident that occurred last time will they? will they?
there are secrets and accusations going on and around everyone. everyday new things comes up. new whispers are spread. and new developments in people plots or backstory gives us more of a window into who they are.
are any of them actually likeable? do more people know what is going on on this boat? and jut what is going on on this boat?
and then... a death. or more like a murder. and things keep unravelling from there on in. you thought this lot were messy before. well you saw nothing to what happens now.
because to survive they might need to work together more than they'd first like. to uncover the killer might be the only things that means they arent swimming among the fishes and making it to land.
