Description
Janet and Sam have the most dynamic granny you’ve ever met.
She goes jogging, builds shelves and fixes cars - and when a snooty neighbour tells her she’s not artistic she’s determined to prove her wrong.
Granny sets to work and creates a wonderful iron sculpture for the art exhibition.
The local children think it’s great - but what will the judges think of the amazing bunk-bed bus?

Quirky.
This granny can put her hand to almost anything creative! To the horror of her snooty neighbour, she mends, builds and even welds, keeping 'junk' which might be handy. Her grandchildren are thrilled when she builds them replacement bunk beds, which they imagine to be a bus.
When her neighbour accuses her of not being artistic, she gathers up the old bunk beds and her junk to make a bunk-bed bus to compete against her portrait at the local art competition.
Never judge someone by their gender or age! This sweet picture book shows his child-like imagination can win the day. Well written for sharing with pre-schoolers and Early Years.
