Description

Bid on a date with this wounded warrior for an unforgettable night of adventure. Aim high—and bid higher!—because no one comes close to local hero Gabriel Morales.

Molly Dekker hates being the town charity case, but when her son Josh is seriously injured she has no choice. She lets her best friend organize a bachelor auction to help pay her massive bills and make Josh’s life more comfortable. She can’t bid on any of the men, but a surprise bidder gives her a gift she never expected: a date with the man who saved her son’s life—the only one she’s in danger of losing her heart to.

Former Air Force pararescueman Gabriel Morales made a career of flying to the rescue, until a tragic helicopter crash stole more than his livelihood. Being auctioned off like a slab of beef isn’t in his recovery plan. But one look, one touch and one night unlocking Molly’s pent-up passion make him realize how badly he needs to be rescued…and how badly he wants to rescue Molly right back.

Will Molly and Gabriel’s never-quit attitude have them rushing head-first into love? Or will Gabriel’s secret pain stall their relationship before it can get off the ground?

Kat Latham wrote a beautiful story of two people who feel like they've failed themselves and the people depending on them as well. One Night with her Bachelor is the story of Molly Decker and Gabriel Morales, book 6 in the Bachelor Auction Series. Molly's son, Josh was injured in an accident that left him in a wheelchair. Gabriel is a paratrooper who helped with Josh's rescue. Celebrated as the town hero, Gabriel feels anything but. Drafted as a bachelor in the auction, he is gifted to Molly. Can these two lost souls manage to create their own happily ever after? The moral of this story is it doesn't matter what big things you do in life, it is who you are that counts. A unique and beautiful story. Received this book for an honest review.

I have enjoyed reading this series of books and hope that there are more to come. This particular book was fun and witty and I believe my listeners and readers will enjoy it very much. Kudos to the author.

This is my first book by this author and definitely not my last.

I liked that both of the main characters had hurdles to overcome. They were both willing to do what needed to be done to be the "right" person for each other. Their first night ended badly but they made up for it. I also liked how when Molly needed him most Gabe acted as her guardian angel.

There were lots of great secondary characters in this book, and I can't wait to read their stories.

The concluding book of this series, covers the reason for the bachelor auction. Molly is a single mom to Josh. Married young and divorced a few years later with a toddler, Molly has struggled to make a life of her own, putting herself through school and then working as a kindergarten teacher and being a mother to 10 year old Josh has been a challenge. Gabriel Morales has been around since she was a child and she's always had a crush on him. But he was her brother Scott's best friend and so off limits. Many years later, Scott has been sacrificed to the war and Gabriel gravely injured while rescuing him.

On a rare day off, while Josh is on camping trip Molly tries to reconnect with Gabriel, who lives up in the mountains, his cabin cut of from all communications except for a radio tuned in to the forest rangers. Then tragedy strikes and her life becomes more challenging than ever and she's determined to make on her own. Gabriel tries to help her while distancing himself as much as possible. But circumstances force Molly to accept help from others and hence the Bachelor auction. The rest I will let you read for yourself ;-D

A lovely novella about overcoming tragedies and allowing oneself to lean on others.

One Night with Her Bachelor is the sixth and final book in the Montana Born Bachelor Auction books and it was definitely the best of the six. This book had me laughing out loud multiple times, and then tearing up at others. Kat Latham wrote a compelling, heart wrenching, and supremely satisfying book that I will be rereading multiple times. Molly is such a strong woman, but doesn't know her own strength. Gabriel helps her see that strength, but at the same time is hiding something from her because he doesn't want to add to her burden. This story is an amazing example of two people who have been through some of the hardest things life can throw at you and still made it out stronger and better than before. I absolutely loved this story and give it a full 5 stars. Can't wait to read more by the talented and witty Kat Latham.

I am glad we also got Molly's story. She is struggling with dealing with her son's injury and has a hard time asking for help. Josh was the perfect guy for her. A quick romantic read.

I have read every book from the Bachelor Auction series and One Night with her Bachelor by Kat Latham is one of my favorites. The well-developed characters, the impassioned storyline and the lustful, yet touching sex scenes, are all balanced extremely well to create this quick-paced read. Ms. Latham and Tule Publishing make a dynamic duo.

All the books are about a bachelor that gets auctioned off for a charitable cause. In this story we finally find out why Molly Dekker, the nicest woman in the world and kindergarten teacher, along with her ten year old son Josh, are the recipients of the money raised by the bachelor fundraiser. I am not going to say any more than that because I do not want to spoil the plot. Gabriel Morales, Molly's late brother's best friend, is on the auction block and because Josh wants to see his mother give him a little more breathing room, buys her a date with Gabriel for less than thirty bucks. Molly has crushed on Gabriel since she began to first notice boys, so a date with him is certainly not a hardship. Gabriel is a former military man and he prefers to deal with his physical and emotional issues on his own.

As Molly and Gabriel spend time together, they not only lustfully explore each other, they develop a friendship based on past and present experiences. Ms. Latham does a wonderful job of developing their relationship, while they simultaneously learn about themselves. Overall, this is a hot, slightly emotional read with a underlying message; appreciate what you have, because it can all change in a heartbeat.

I love this Bachelor Auction series. I liked this book a lot. Having read the others, I know the heroine's backstory. And have been wondering about her. She is the beneficiary of the charity auction. and her son gifts her with a bachelor.

I liked the fact that she struggled to accept charity. I liked the fact that she had a past with the hero, he had been her brother's best friend. And I loved the ending, just loved it.

This is the sixth book in the Bachelor Auction series, set in fictional Marietta, Montana. It is a short format contemporary romance, just right for a rainy day read.

I received a complementary copy from NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Oh I liked this one. Kat Lantham did some research and wrote a great book. This book you felt connected to what Gabriel, Molly, Josh, Lily, the bachelors, all of it.

Gabriel is living a life of seclusion by choice to deal with what he went through in the Air Force. He's not right since he lost his best friend and part of himself that night. He's shut everyone out.

Molly has been single mom and kindergarten teacher for so long she forgot what it's like to be a woman. After seeing Gabriel in the store, her dead brothers best friend, she sets up her plan.

Seduction has to take a back seat when Josh goes missing. But it's just a great story. From Gabriel, Lily, Molly, and Josh you can't help but love the characters all over again. I REALLY enjoyed this series.

The 6th book in the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series, it functions well as stand-alone but reading the other books will certainly enhance your enjoyment of this. Though this is the 6th book, this gives the background for all the other books in this series and focuses on Molly and Gabriel. She's always had a crush on him and one fateful night, puts on her big girl thongs and tries to make it happen...suffice to say, something else happens that upends all their lives and they work through it...growing into themselves and into their romantic relationship. Great and compelling main and supporting characters. Quick but satisfying read.

The final book in the Bachelor Auction series did not disappoint. Kat Latham did a fantastic job of tying all of the characters together and presenting Molly, Josh and Gabriel as real people. Often I find that romance authors don't do a great job writing kids, but Ms. Latham does a great job developing the character Josh and the special relationship he has with his "Aunt Lily" and his mom in this story. And Gabriel is a true hero in every sense of the word. From the back story with the Air Force, with his rescue of Josh and the way he quietly takes care of Molly before and after their first date. He is one swoon-worthy hero. I am looking forward to reading more from Ms. Latham. I want to read more about Gabriel's very complicated family life. It feels like there is more good stuff to come!

This book had such great characters. I loved Gabriel and Molly, but Lily sparked my interest quite a bit. More than anything, I can definitely say that this book touched on an issue that is near and dear to my heart - PTSD. To go along with that challenge, I really liked that the author touched on survivor's guilt, phantom limb pain, rejection and acceptance of a partner, and SCI.

I was hoping that Molly Dekker gets her very own happily-ever-after and am so thrilled that she ‘s got Bachelor#6 Gabriel Morales in her eyesight. Divorced and now fighting to give her son the best treatment that had made him a paraplegic and in a wheelchair, Molly doesn’t lose heart or her courage. With the support of her friends and citizens of Marietta taking care of her, her son wins Gabriel Morales in the auction for his mom. And all she wants is One Night With Her Bachelor”, just to be Molly Dekker…not a mother, friend, ex-wife or a victim of circumstances, but just a woman to be loved by a man.

Ex air force and pararescueman, Gabriel Morales lives a solitary life, recuperating from major injuries and coming to terms with losing a part of his leg. Saving Josh gives a purpose to life and being with Molly gives him hope for a future that he never even dreamed off. But with so much anguish and pain harboring in his life, and insecurities about himself as a whole person, Gabriel very well may shut himself off from the only ray of sunshine.

After Lily and Beau, Molly and Gabriel are my favorites. Courageous, loyal and a super mom, she raises Josh on her own, and what a great job she has done. Gabriel, the hero and a silent angel, he tries to pave a smooth path for Molly. Both amazing individuals, facing adverse circumstances, yet finding a way to each other, not just for one night but for an entire new future, tugs at your heart.

Kat Latham did an outstanding job giving a fabulous end to the series as with Molly and Gabriel. Loaded with emotions and passion, pain and uncertainty, insecurities and doubts, Kat Latham gives us a roller coaster ride of a love story.

Loved it! Very emotional and touching story. Even though it's the last story in this series, I read it first without any problems.

I have to wonder if bachelor auctions happen in real life, and if they do, where they are...because I'd really like to pick up a Gabriel Morales for myself.

After a tragic accident left her 10 year old son, Josh in need of serious care, and her bills in serious need of payment, Molly Dekker reluctantly sets aside her pride to accept the help of her best friend, Lily, and her town.

There's only one man in the charity bachelor auction Lily has planned that Molly would bid on -- if she was allowed to bid. Gabriel Morales is the man that saved her son's life, a former Air Force pararescueman and himself recovering from tragedy.

When Gabriel is 'bought' for Molly, their one night together unlocks a passion that is irresistible and has them both questioning the future. But with Molly's responsibilities and the lingering effects of Gabriel's accident making him question himself, will they be able to find a way to make it work?

One Night with her Bachelor was sweet and fun, with a touch of humor and some serious feels thrown in for good measure. I really enjoyed reading this book, so much so that I kind of forgot myself and just keep reading through to the end. There's my Saturday gone...but not wasted. Definitely not wasted.

I loved Gabriel and Molly. They were a charming couple, both prideful and needing help, one able to ask for and accept it, one still trying to learn how. Gabriel, in particular, was wonderful with his questionable woodworking skills and big-heart hidden behind a gruff, hands-off exterior. I felt for what he'd experienced and lost, and I wanted him to own up to what he wanted and needed. And damn, when he danced, I swooned. Is it any wonder I want him for my own?

I'm hoping this is just the beginning of a new series for Kat Latham. I want to know more about Lily and the bachelor she bid on -- there has to be a story there... I'm a sucker for Ms. Latham's work, having picked this one up without even reading the blurb, and once again, she delivered a story full of life and humor and real people. Can you blame me for wanting more? ~ 4.5 stars

I have loved every single one of the Bachelor Auction novellas. But I must confess that I’ve been waiting for Molly’s. (Yes, I was good and read them in order)

Molly and her son Josh have had their typical world changed in a heartbeat. While on a Boy Scout camping trip Josh and his friend did what 10 year old boys do – they went exploring where they shouldn’t and without telling anyone. The ground on top of the old abandoned copper mines had been weakening for years. It was Josh’s bad luck to have stepped on a weakened spot of ground that fell away, dropping him several feet down into the old mine shaft. Gabriel and his mom found them, and rescued them. But Josh and Molly’s lives would be forever changed by that one decision.

Gabriel is fighting demons. While we don’t know exactly what they are, we do get glimpses of them as the story builds. After being released from the hospital after his military rescue helicopter mission went bad, Gabriel has spent time at his cabin, truly living off the grid in the mountains. Few people know he’s back in town and he’s just fine with that. When Lily tracks him down on a rare visit to town, he’s pretty much forced into taking part in this Bachelor Auction she’s putting together to benefit Molly and Josh.

I really don’t want to more of a tease than that. This is a story that I really believe you need to read to experience the emotions of it on so many levels.

As the parent of a young man who has spent his life in a wheelchair, I could so easily identify with Molly’s feelings. Been there, felt that… yeah, it’s not a place I would wish for any parent. But it’s life.

Molly and Gabriel were made for each other. While they have been wounded in different ways, they each need something the other offers. But can Gabriel overcome the biggest demon of all and let Molly’s love finish up his own healing.

The emotions from this one were off the chart. It has become my favorite novella of the series. And I will never pass by a chance to revisit Marietta, Montana in any future book. The people who “live” there are the finest bunch of folks you’d ever want to run into.

I would recommend this one for anyone who just wants to experience true love at it’s best. It gets a rare 5 outta 5 on my rating chart. Pick this one up – you won’t be sorry.

3.5 Recognizing Your Strength * * * 1/2

Small towns. They can be invasive, charming, welcoming, judgmental and caring. They can tag people as being a certain way... expecting them to always live up to the labels stamped on them. It can be daunting.... because what if the label is not all you are... what if you have other attributes then how you have been classified. What if this "well meaning" town has made your label so clear...it is choking you and the need to break free is yelling in head.

In this book, we have two main characters who have many things in common...and part of how they see themselves and how other see them come into play.

This is the last of the Bachelor Auction Series:
Book 1: Bound to the Bachelor Book 2: Bachelor at her Bidding https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Book 3: The Bachelor's Baby Book 4: What a Bachelor Needs https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Book 5: In Bed with the Bachelor Book 6: One Night with her Bachelor

I have read a few of these books and I have found them to have heart and care for the main characters and those around them.

As the last book of the Auction, we have the the main reason for it, Molly and her son Josh. Molly fell for a fella and wanted to wait till marriage to share her love with him. In hindsight, it may have been why they married so young. They had their honeymoon and she ended up pregnant. With morning sickness and feeling off, it wasn't a great start. Her husband at college and expecting everything to be done for him...ended with frustration. She was a full time mother and student, he was in it for himself so at the time of his graduating, bam...he was off to another part of Colorado saying husband and fatherhood was not for him.

There she was... single mom, student teacher having to make do. Time passes and Molly has always made do. She is the perfect friendly kindergarten teacher. Josh has grown into a rambunctious young man and keeping up with him is like needing a caffeine drip attached. He has decided to be a Bull Rider/Rodeo Star and no question, he is determined.

Molly is tired. She loves her job and Marietta. Yet, things have just been hitting hard for awhile now. She lost her parents, she lost her brother recently in the war and she feels she has lost herself so many years ago... she may not know where to find her. She does have one great friend, Lil and has been her lifesaver.

She is at the market thinking of all the things she has been missing in life when she gets to the checkout stand with arms loaded. She is trying to lay them down on the conveyor and gets knocked from behind causing everything to fall, exploded or drip all over Gabriel Morles who was right in front of her.

O M G! Nooooooooooooo.... please have this not be happening.

First- Gabriel was her brother's best friend since six. She had a crush on him forever. He had her in the little sister zone never to think of her s a person.
Second- Gabriel and Scott were both together overseas...her brother did not come back; Gabriel did but rumor is he was hurt but no one knows to what extent.
Three- She is shocked he is even there as he is now living off the grid in a mountain cabin and No One ever sees him during the day.

So, here she is face to face with the man who looks good enough to eat in a Mountain Man way with her sanitary stuff there for all to see. She reaches to try to clean up some of the mess on him and sparks start shooting between them...piercing eyes, beautiful rugged hands touch her little ones...and all the things she has ever thought about Gabriel come flooding (yes, it was uncomfortable down below) back. She somehow gets out of there in tack.

Fast forward to a week or so... Josh is going camping with a troop and friends. It is up in the mountains and he is very excited. Molly is excited, too. She has made a decision; she is going after what she wants.

She thinks she saw need and want from Gabriel. She is a grown ass woman, kindergarten teacher be damned...she is going to get laid. She deserves it. She drops of Josh; she parks her car at the base closest to trail to his cabin and loads up her backpack. Her excuse will be she is going camping and just happened on to his home...yes...that is what she will do.....and she does...

Gabriel lives an isolated life with his cabin and woodworking as his domain. He use to enjoy people and his mom and sister...but that was before. Before the nightmares... before his loss of who he thinks he was.... a Former Air Force pararescueman. He and his best friend Scott did everything together and they were strong, willing and always protective of those in need and those they loved. He was there when death took Scott and he has been grieving for him as well as himself. It is better to be away from others... alone... that is all he thinks he is good for now.

Rustling and action catches Gabriel's attention. He see a huge backpack on a little frame trudging up the path. What the hell is Molly doing up here with that thing on her back....She says she is camping as Josh is away for two days...and she is taking some me time. She manipulates her self into his cabin by asking for water...

Gabriel is fighting his instincts...Until he had seen Molly at the grocery store...she was just Scott's sis... little and always around. Since the market...she has been this vision in his head he cannot get rid of... morning, noon and night.....and that is what he is fighting.

Molly, good little nice, ugh, kindergarten teacher has decided to suck it up and get what she wants... she wants Gabriel and lays it out telling him exactly that...in so many "nice words" she normally uses. This takes Gabriel a moment to regroup...he is not sure as to what is happening but before it stops happening these to sort of get caught up in each other...kissing and touching...

As things almost go where Molly wants them... the cabin's Forest Ranger radio goes off mentioning Josh and another kid missing from camp. This is where everything freezes... she starts to panic.... but Gabriel does not. This is what he use to do... Save people. And will again as best as he can with his injured leg. He gets the equipment, takes Molly, they focus and find the boys by an underground old mine shaft. Jake is by the hole in the ground crying, Josh has fallen and is in the shaft. Molly stays with Jake making a stretcher. Gabriel does it all using the reflex action of how to go into the rescue zone and just power through. He rigs the necessary ropes and gizmos together, creates a harness for Josh to attach to his chest and with the massive chest and arm muscles he continued to use out at the cabin, he was able to bring Josh up.

We discover Josh loses the use of his lower body and even with all of the therapy with specialists... he may never walk again. Molly has been making the trip to the rehab miles away with mystery gas put in her car every time she needs it. She knows it is Gabriel...she wants to thank him and she somehow gets a note to him saying just that, although it isn't enough. What hurts is she should never have gone there ... she should never have let Josh do the camping trip...she should never.... All the she should nevers because she was selfish... selfish to have wanted anytime for sex... what was she thinking....

Now she has medical bills... she has electric bills, a mortgage and it is all falling apart...but she hides it all while she goes to work. Lil, her friend confronts her and tells her to let people help... there is no shame in allowing people in when in need.

Molly hears there is an auction with all of the proceeds going to Josh's care and bills. This is happening and somehow Lil ends up getting all of these people to be in it with Gabriel participating, too. The bidding happens and the last man up is Gabriel. Molly is just wiped. It has been a very big night and she cannot believe what is happening. Gabriel's bidding is close to $1000 and then Josh raises his hand and bids for his mom with all the pocket money he has....and of course, the auctioneer says sold. Josh wants his mom to have a little fun with his hero, Gabriel.

This book covered the issues of woman losing who they are... when they become wives, moms and members of a community which perceives them one way. It can be restrictive and oppressing to never just be... to feel what you want, when you want and always worry how you appear. Molly had to come to terms with her life, the loss of her parents, brother and now Josh's mobility and how that will change his dreams.

Gabriel had the same issue but in a self determined lock down. He didn't feel it was fair to Molly to be saddled with a man less than...
She took him by the hand and showed him the way... just like Lil showed her...
It was ok to accept help, what ever type.
It was ok to need others.
It was ok to just Love.

The research for the rescue scenes deserves a mention as it felt like you were actually there while it was happening. The author gives credit to her advisers and it gave weight to the story.

I think this was a successful series. You could pick and choose which books to try and never feel lost. I thoroughly enjoyed this finale and will look for more from the author.

Molly Dekker, mom of Josh, the boy who had been injured during an accident and now was confined to a wheelchair, and who is the benefactor of the money raised at the Marietta bachelor auction, has been in love with Gabriel, her brother’s close friend, for years. Gabriel reluctantly agrees to be auctioned off as part of the fundraiser, and, interestingly, Josh buys Gabriel’s date for his mom. Gabriel was the man who rescued Josh. Gabriel was the one who secretly supported Molly in ways that she never knew. Gabriel was the man who built the wheelchair ramp so that Josh could get into and out of his house. Gabriel was the man that she wanted to be her man. Gabriel has a secret – a big one – and knows he isn’t a man for any woman. Can a woman neck-deep in the stress and challenge that comes from figuring out a new normal with her newly disabled child, and a man hiding from the world and keeping secrets, find a way to be normal and happy together?

I very much enjoyed this book and definitely recommend it.

I loved this story. It was emotional, sweet and they had passion. Molly was struggling to overcome all of things that were waying her down and so was Gabriel. Being together they were able to ease some of the stress, then feelings got involved. Will they be able to stay together or will his struggles keep them apart? I really enjoyed this story and the way little Josh was able to keep an upbeat attitude was inspiring. I look forward to reading more work from this author.

Kat Latham has recently become an auto-read author for me. Her writing style grabs you from the opening page and keeps hold of you until the end. I can be a little picky with shorter reads, left wanting more and yes, whilst I would have loved to read more of Gabriel, Molly and her son Josh, this was simply because they were wonderful characters with a heart wrenching and heart-warming journey. One Night with her Bachelor was a perfectly paced sexy, satisfying and emotive read.
“What are you looking for Molly?”
“Orgasms. At least three.”

The last book in the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series, it’s actually the only one I’ve read and it can easily be read as a standalone; I don’t feel I have missed anything as the whole series centralises around an auction held to benefit the main characters of this book. I won’t say much about the storyline as I could easily spoil the reading experience, but in keeping with the Montana Born way, it has a lovely sense of family and community, balanced with the more difficult subjects of PTSD, survivor-guilt and disability. Kindergarten teacher Molly and ex-Pararescuer Gabriel were wonderful together; with a history and familiarity having grown up together and him being her older brother’s best friend, Molly has always harboured a crush on him. With moments that hurt and others that made me smile, their romance brought intimacy, passion, acceptance and understanding.

“…I want you so badly my whole body aches. Every single bit of me wants every single bit of you…”

They were a couple to love and with great additional content from Josh and Molly’s best-friend Lily (I’d love to see her get her HEA), it was a pleasure to read.

At first I wondered why this was not the first book in the series. As it tells you a lot about what happened with Josh that the other books kind of left vega. Gabriel is hiding in the middle of now where fighting demons only he can win over, or so he thinks. Josh is a free spirit who I am just forever am in love with. And oh Molly Molly, Molly she is a single mom who doesn't take well to people helping her out, when her world falls apart she starts and is forced to lean on people she never thought she would. I love this book, oh heck I love this series. I loved how this tired everything up for you and doesn't leave you with questions. I love how you get to catch up with the fun people and the crazy people of Marietta, if nothing more get all the books in the series Just so you can read this one because it will be work every bit of your time. (oh and Lily is back and this book she has a heart so big you just love her too)

Book Review: One Night with her Bachelor by Kat Latham
If you have been enjoying the “Bachelor Auction” series, then you do need to read this one because this is how it all began!

Molly Dekker’s son Josh who had a very bad accident is the raison d'être for the Bachelor Auction. In “One Night with her Bachelor” author Kat Latham cleverly crafts on how it all began without being cheesy in one extreme or being too quixotic in another.

Finding that perfect pitch between bravery and pride, between being a victim and a survivor, Kat Latham made Molly Dekker and Gabriel Morales unforgettable characters. Both of them are walking wounded. But while how they handle their pain and hurt are different, both try to remain true to themselves.

For an author, creating characters that are so complex in a normal length romance novel can be daunting; yet Kat Latham did it with flying colors as Molly, Gabriel, even Josh and the other supporting characters turned out to be three-dimensional.

One Night with her Bachelor is Rated M for Mature due to some sexual content.

Molly Dekker has always tried to be the best mom she can possibly be to her ten-year-old son Josh. The one time she tries to do something for herself, i.e. trying to seduce Gabriel Morales, a former Air Force veteran and her late brother's best friend, the day ends up with him rescuing Josh after he suffers a life-altering accident. Months later, Molly's grasping at straws, trying to keep her head above water as she wades through all the bills that have been piling, all while making sure Josh has everything he needs as an incomplete quadriplegic. Gabriel has quietly helped but still keeps to himself in his cabin in the woods.

Just when Molly thinks all hope is lost, financial help comes in the form of a charity auction put together by her best friend Lily Taylor in which six of the most eligible and hottest bachelors in Marietta, Montana. When Gabriel turns out to be one of the bachelors set for auction, Josh surprises his mom by bidding on and winning him for her. Josh wants Molly to go out and enjoy herself and to not constantly hover him, explaining that he also needs some space away from her mothering. Gabriel may have only seen Molly as his best friend's kid sister when they were growing up but now he sees her as much more than that.

Even as Molly and Gabriel genuinely enjoy each other's company, there's something that he hasn't told her, a secret that he believes will change the way she sees him. In her eyes, she's a hero but he doesn't see himself as that. He's always served a purpose and now, after his injury and being discharged from the Air Force, he feels lost, unsure of what it is he should do with himself. Will Gabriel have the courage to not only tell Molly the truth but to also live the rest of his life not as a recluse but as someone ready to explore all of the possibilities ahead of him or will his realizations come too late and end up breaking two hearts?

Bringing the multi-authored Bachelor Auction series full circle is the Kat Latham-penned sixth and final book, One Night with Her Bachelor. While each of the books may be read as standalones, I do suggest that they be read in order so that you can get a better feel for the overall story line and see what happens to each of the six bachelors and the women who "win" them. This sixth book is about Molly, whose son's condition inspired the creation of the bachelor auction. We also get the back story that involves Molly and one of the bachelors up for auction, Gabriel, who have known each other for a quarter of a decade.

One of my favorite things about this novel is the emphasis on Molly being reminded that she there's nothing wrong with taking care of herself and her own needs and wants apart from being Josh's mom. The lesson that people who want to offer their help does not necessarily equate to pity is an important one, as is learning how to ask for and accept that help. With sensitive and personable characters and a touching and memorable story, I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend One Night with Her Bachelor, which gets five stars. As for the entire Bachelor Auction series, I'm giving it an overall and well-earned 4.75 stars. ♥

One Night with her Bachelor is the final book in Thee Montana Bachelor Auction series and it was my fav book in the series!

In One Night with her Bachelor we finally get to read about Molly Dekker and her son Josh and we learn how Josh end up in a wheelchair and how Gabriel Morales saved his life.

Molly know Gabriel since she was a little girl- he was her brother best friend and we was injured in the same tragic helicopter crash that killed her brother.

While her son Josh is on a camping trip with the boy scouts, Molly hikes to Gabriel 's isolated cabin with a plan to seduce him and make him see her as more that Scot's little sister but her plane isn't working so well when she overhear on the Rangers radio that her son Josh and his friend are missing.

It turns out that Josh and his friend went to look for the old mines but the ground there isn't stable and Josh fell down when the ground collapsed.

Gabriel was able to get him out but Josh hurt his spine when he fell and he lost the ability to walk.

Fast forward 5 months- Molly is really struggling to pay the bills and her best friend Lily organize the bachelor auction to help her and Josh and she's able to persuade Gabriel to be one of the bachelors.
Ever since his injury, Gabriel is trying to stay away from people, he was never a friendly person but it only got worse after his best friend died in the helicopter crash and he was badly injured.

He enjoy living in his isolated cabin far away from people but as much as he tries to keep his distance from Molly it's very hard for him and he find himself helping her in all kinds of ways.

When Josh win Gabriel in the auction he tells him to take his mom on a date and trying to resist Molly become even harder but Gabriel has a big secret that he's keeping from Molly and he feels broken and the last thing Molly needs is another person to take care of.

I loved reading about Molly and Gabriel, Molly life isn't easy- she lost both her parents and a short time later she lost her brother as well and now with Josh is a wheelchair she needs to find the strength and energy to stay positive and help her son heal.

Molly is also sick and tired that people only see her as nice since she's a kindergarten teacher and a single mother- she want men to see her as a woman and not just as a mother and a teacher.

Gabriel came back from war a broken man, physically is doing much better but emotionally he hasn't heal at all- he feels like he has nothing to offer Molly since he's not working and he has so much emotional baggage .

Together Molly and Gabriel try to find a way to be together and help one another to heal.

I loved reading about Josh and how he's dealing with his injury and with his mom hovering over him all the time.

One Night With Her Bachelor was an amazing book, it was full of emotions and I loved reading about Molly and Gabriel - they both had to overcome issues in their life in order to be together and I loved the fact that the author deal with some heavy real life issues in this book.

I highly recommend reading One Night With Her Bachelor

So I think out of the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series, One Night with her Bachelor ranks as one my favorites. Molly and Gabriel were so relatable, their struggles, their feelings, their hopes and their desire for each other just lifted off the page for me. Although the Bachelor Auction was still the highlight and plot device used to propel most of these books forward, Kat Latham has managed to use it as a way to deepen a relationship that has already started way before the event. Gabriel and Molly were just so three dimensional that its so easy to fall into their story and commiserate with whatever struggles they have. Heartwarming, poignant, sad and at times humorous, it would be very hard not to fall in love with this one. If you love romance, then you would love this.

After reading the first five books in this series and knowing the reason for the Bachelor Auction, it is nice to find out why Moly and Josh badly needed this fundraising event.

Molly was married at a young age and divorced when Josh was five years old.

She is now a single mother whilst working as a teacher in a Kindergarten. She works hard to make ends meet and doesn't have much time to herself and when Josh goes on a trip with the Scouts, she decides to pay Gabriel a visit to seduce him. She has known Gabriel for most of her life as he was her brother's best friend and she has had a crush on him for as long as she can remember, but to Gabriel, she was just his best friend's baby sister.

Gabriel is now retired from the Air Force, where he was involved in an accident which tragically took the life of Molly's brother Scott. Gabriel now lives as a recluse quite far away from civilisation and hardly ever goes to town during the day time. Gabriel is quite surprised by the reason for Molly's visit and just when they start to get intimate, tragedy strikes. Gabriel manages to rescue Josh but the spinal damage leaves him wheelchair bound.

Molly's struggles get worth but she would not accept charity, that's when her friend Lily decides to organise the Bachelor Auction and Gabriel becomes a candidate. Despite the change in his life, Josh decides to bid on Gabriel to give his mother a break. Gabriel has his own problems but not willing to discuss them with anybody but Molly does not quit easily.

They both have to learn that everybody needs somebody sometimes. It's a beautiful love story which comes with all kinds of emotions. The way Josh handles the changes in his life as a ten year old is quite an eye opener. Their story is a fitting end to the series as it all began because of Molly and Josh. I absolutely love this novel.

Back on track! I wasn't thrilled with the last book in this series, so I am so happy that this, one hit the spot for me. It was sweet, heartwarming and at times poignant. Maybe it's because I'm a mother, or maybe I'm just a little emotional today, but Molly's struggles as a mom and a woman really got to me. I totally felt her anguish and fear, her helplessness, and her need to be appreciated. I loved Gabriel and was rooting for their HEA. This was a quick but satisfying read for me, which left me with a smile.

Fantastic read!! The only bad thing about this one is that I think it should have been published as the first in the series rather than last. Loved the connection between the H/h and how they each brought the best out in each other. I definitely recommend this one to everyone.

Here it is, last but not least, in the Bachelor Auction series, in One Night with the Her Bachelor, we get the background story of Molly and Josh, the single mother and her son, whom the benefit was organized for.
Gabriel, the wounded veteran and one of the bachelors on the auction, and Molly have known each other since their childhood. The memories from the past are both painful and joyful, and the connection between them is imminent.
But Gabriel has always seen Molly as his best friend's little sister, so getting adjusted to the beautiful woman she has grown to be, takes a minute. The struggle they have to go through, to find each other on an even level, is tough, steep uphill. But despite all the obstacles, they 'never give up' and work on their issues. It is emotional, hard, raw, and real, and so easy to relate to.
Both Gabriel and Molly have had a lot of pain, sorrow, and hardship in their lives. Through the attraction and desire to be together, they find themselves, learn to take down the walls and disguises, and find their true selves, with a future, hope, joy, and love. But the story is not all agony and struggle, there's also steaming passionate moments, as well as charming characters with wit and sass. I laughed out loud several times while reading this tale.
The message in the story is uplifting and inspiring: "Not to be afraid of life's challenges. Not to be defined by them as... but struggled to overcome them". This series has been a journey, the stories has given some food for thought, while they have been entertaining, enjoyable and fun, books that I want to come back to again.
This last addition has it all, sizzling love story, the true struggle life can be sometimes, fantastic friends, joy and humor, all experienced in a small town where people care for each other, look out for each other, and are willing to step up and help when needed.

I received this book as an ARC for my honest review from Net Galley.

Somehow I stumbled upon this excellent series about a bunch of sexy Bachelors that are being auctioned off for a great cause. I love the idea of the series although it is about the same town and the same auction the books are written by different Authors. With it being written this way you are getting a fresh look from different points of view but all with the same beautiful result. Great idea, Great series!

This is the first book that I have read by Kat Latham and I thought it was really good.

Molly is a single mother whose son has just had a horrible accident. Molly is going crazy when she sees hospital bill after hospital bill coming in and has no clue how she will make ends meet. In comes her best friend Lily to the rescue she plans a bachelor auction that will not only help to pay the bills but heal Molly's heart!

Gabriel is home after a tragic accident in the military that has changed his life forever. He hides away in his cabin not wanting to deal with his future; but cant seem to stop himself from running to the rescue when Molly needs him the most.

Can a battle scarred hero find a way to let go of the past? Can a single mother whose life is changing find time for love? Read and find out people..just make sure you bring tissues because a couple of tears may fall!

I really enjoyed this one. Molly is a great mom, trying to do her best for her son without panicking or smothering him, though struggling under the weight of too many pressures at once. Yes, she proud and stubborn and hates the idea of accepting charity, but at least she’s not too stupid to accept help when she knows she really needs it. Unlike Gabriel who is gorgeous, a real sweetheart and a stoical idiot when it comes to letting his guard down. Life hasn’t exactly been kind to him either, but he’s so busy trying to protect Molly from his woes that he doesn’t realise he’s the perfect man for her – and Josh.

The romance between Molly and Gabriel, though rife with self-doubts and potential misunderstandings, was a good mix of sweetness and heat, and had plenty of chemistry to keep things bubbling along. I also really liked getting to see more of irrepressible Lily and finding out how the auction came together on the receiving end. Full of great characters, a good storyline and a lovely romance, this is a fine end to another enjoyable Marietta series.

This last romantic novella in the Bachelor Auction series (easily read as a standalone) is the story of Molly and Gabriel. Gabriel is a reclusive wounded ex-soldier, living in an isolated cabin in the woods. When he has a hand in rescuing Molly's injured son Josh, it creates a new bond between them, one that already existed from childhood but now goes deeper. Coerced into being one of the bachelors at the auction to raise money for Josh's care, he ends up with the one woman he can't resist - Molly. But he's hiding a painful secret and when the truth comes out will it strengthen their bond or push them apart for good?

I really enjoyed this story. I've always loved Kat's writing so I had high expectations for this one and I wasn't disappointed. She created a very empathetic hero. Gabriel is wounded (in body and spirit) and hides himself away from the rest of the world, preferring to nurse his wounds in silence. But Molly gets to him - her courage, her laughter, her smile and he can't help but realize that continuing to hide is not what he wants for his future. Molly is a strong female character, a single mom, trying to do the best for her son. She is embarrassed that she can't do it all on her own and needs financial assistance, but is learning that asking for help and receiving it is okay. And when Gabriel looks at her, she knows he sees the real woman inside. The sexual attraction between them sizzles and leads to some emotional and steamy love scenes.

This whole bachelor series has been a delight to read and this makes a fitting end. It was a lovely story. 4 stars.

4 - "I'm trying to impress a girl." Stars!

Molly Dekker and her son Josh are essentially the people that are the catalyst for the whole premise of the Montana Born Bachelor Auction. So it was really good to read the finale of what has essentially been a great series come to a close, with their story. It started on a high, and definitely went out on one as well.

Kat Latham is a new author to me, and on the strength of the story she gives the reader in One Night with her Bachelor an author I will certainly be looking too read more from. Gabriel, Molly and Josh’s story is one I couldn’t put down, and the one I have wanted since the start of the series. As with all of the previous books it can be read as a standalone, and if you only pick up one, this is the one I would recommend.

Wildcard. Your date, your choice.

This quite simply is a great love story; both parties are struggling with the unexpected major changes in their lives, and trying to make the best of the situations they find themselves in. I want a Gabriel, I loved him from the first page, to the last chapter.

I could fall so hard for you.

Molly and their budding relationship as well as Josh’s disability and how everything steadily progressed between them, was just total enjoyment. It was an absolutely stellar end to the series, well worth a couple of hours of your time.

ARC generously provided via Netgalley, it was my pleasure to provide the above honest review.

'Tis the last book in the Bachelor Auction Series, but this is definitely not the least. For what it's worth, I believe Tule Publishing saved the best for last. I loved every chapter of this book!

One Night With Her Bachelor finally relates the story of Molly Dekker, the single mom of young boy Josh, who was almost buried alive in an accident while on a camping activity. Josh was the main reason why Lily Taylor had set up the Bachelor Auction bidding in Montana, to gather the eligible bachelors on one night, to help out with Josh's health care and ever piling bills. Of course, the ever nice kindergarten teacher Molly doesn't want to ask for money from anyone else, so Lily, her bestfriend comes up with the bidding idea.

Gabriel Morales, former Air Force, a wounded warrior and a recluse, was actually the one who helped saved Josh when the young boy fell on the mine shafts on that fateful camping day. He has lived alone in his cabin and didn't like coming out at all, as his past kept haunting him. When Lily tells him that he's one of the bachelors up for the bidding, I thought he was going to refuse and decline. I was ecstatic to learn that he has finally agreed and soon came out from his solitary, shaved his beard, cut his hair and looked every bit of a gentleman.

Of all the Bachelor books I've read in this series, I think this one by Kat Latham is my favorite. I enjoyed every minute of Molly, Gabriel and Josh. Theirs is a kind of family love like no other. The emotional build-up among the characters were quite intense, heart-breaking and sweet at the same time. I am a mother myself and seeing my children hurt equals to the whole world collapsing on me, that's why I could very much relate to Molly with her passion to give everything to her child. (The only difference is I am happily married, so I have a strong support system). Molly finally finding Gabriel is such a reprieve. I really rooted for them. For me, they are perfect for each other and seeing them with their own happily ever after was enough to make me feel wonderful deep inside. I think, author Kat Latham has that effect on me with her books. So far, this is my favorite Bachelor story.

This is by far, my favorite Bachelor auction book. We finally get the story of Molly and the back round of what happened to Josh. Molly has always liked Gabriel, but he was a friend of her older brother while growing up. Her friend Lily, organizer of the Bachelor auction, sets it up that Molly wins Gabriel, handyman. Both Gabriel and Molly are fighting demons from their past, but can love conquer all. Love the emotions of these two characters and the healing that takes place.

This is my first Kat Latham book, and will not be by last. I received this book from the publisher and Net Galley for an honest review. I highly recommend this book along with the series, for somegreat reads. All books can be read as single titles.

“Bid on a date with this wounded warrior for an unforgettable night of adventure. Aim high—and bid higher!—because no one comes close to local hero Gabriel Morales.”

I have truly enjoyed the Bachelor Auction series. This is book 6, the last in the series and possibly my favorite. I love that they are written by different authors. It keeps each story fresh. The story of Molly Dekker and Gabriel Morales is a little more serious than the others, and gives a good dose of angst, which I also love.

I am a sucker for wounded warrior stories. I just can’t pass them up – and this one did not disappoint. Gabriel makes you just want to “fix” him. Molly is a strong heroine. She has been a single mother of a rambunctious little boy with no help from the father. She married young, and he couldn’t take the pressure of college and instant family. She has suffered loss, including the reason for the auction – her son’s injuries and resulting medical bills. She faces what life has dealt her head-on. She doesn’t expect anything, and is grateful for what help she receives. I love a strong heroine.

Kat Latham has written a heart-gripping story that grabs you from the beginning, and holds on until the end. Gabriel is a conflicted soul. He wants to love and be loved, but can he overcome his hidden demons and give it a chance? Can Molly trust enough to let him in?

ONE NIGHT WITH HER BACHELOR wraps up the latest Marietta series with a gripping story. You most definitely won’t want to miss this one. I highly recommend!

Molly sets out on a personal adventure to find her secret crush while her son goes to camp. The adventure doesn't happen the way she expected, and suddenly her world is shattered by her son's accident which leaves him partially paralyzed. Gabriel is hiding his injury and a lot of baggage--he's not sure how to fit back into society. But, saving Josh's life changes everything. He becomes an "angel" to Molly, doing things for her secretly, and slowly getting back into society. Molly's struggling to make ends meet and to keep custody of her son.

When Gabriel agrees to be one of the Bachelors for the auction, it's for Molly and Josh. And, the surprise bid comes from Molly's son! Mom needs a date. Suddenly, Molly and Gabriel are having a hard time fighting the attraction they have for each other. Molly has to learn to accept help while Gabriel must come clean on his injury. With no more obstacles, love, passion, and understanding unite this couple for a lifetime!

Loved this story! One of my favorites of the Bachelor Series!

Molly & Gabriel's story - Just cause u cant see the scars don't mean they're not there! Molly has been through a lot more than her "nice" appearance can ever show. Gabriel might be a hero to most but even hero's need a little help sometime. Together everything is always so much easier. There is some good lessons learned in this book. I enjoyed the witty attitude from Josh and his positive energy after all the let downs and losing his dream to one day join the rodeo circuit - he's a inspiration to all.

Good Book by a great Author

Probably my favorite out of all the bachelor auction series. The auction is to raise money to help Molly pay for doctor bills after her son's accident. All the other books in the series deal with a bachelor and his lady, but this one deals with Molly and her bachelor. A sweet story of two people who find each other and help heal each other. Would highly recommend.

What a great ending to a fun series. Molly and Josh are who we met in the first book in this series, the ones whom the whole bachelor auction is to benefit. Gabriel is the man who helped saved her son, and was best friends with her brother before his death. These 2 have seen many struggles and to see how they come together was fun, sweet and heartwarming. What a sweet, fun read, and a great ending to the series. The author did a great job of making you care for these characters and want to see more of them!

One Night With Her Bachelor is the last in the six book Bachelor Auction series, and while it is part of and probably best read after the other five, it stands alone well.
The series broadly centres around an auction organised to raise money for Molly Decker and her ten year old son Josh, who has ended up in a wheelchair after falling into a mine shaft. Molly is divorced and struggling with a mountain of bills as well as the worry of how to fit her house out to make it easier for Josh to live in.
The very first thing I liked about this book was that author Kat Latham had dedicated it to her friend and fellow author Sarah Mayberry, who just happens to have written the first book in the series. That tied the series up nicely for me right away. Each book is written by a different author, each is different in style yet all of them work well together.
This book focuses on Molly and Gabriel, her brother's best friend, who is also the man that rescued Molly's son Josh when he fell into the mine shaft. Molly is the local kindergarten teacher and in her own words "nice". She is sick of that description. She feel like she has lost her personality somewhere in the middle of being a mother, a teacher and an all around good citizen. Molly has always had a thing for Gabriel, but he is five years older than her and has always regarded her as Scott's little sister. She is determined to make him see her as something else entirely and that chance presents itself when her son wins Gabriel for her in the bachelor auction.
Gabriel is a loner. He was badly injured when trying to rescue Scott after his helicopter was shot down, and he just wants to be left alone in his hut in the forest. In addition to his physical injuries he has post traumatic stress disorder. The last thing he needs is to get involved with someone then have them pity him when they find out what is wrong with him.
This story is beautifully written, moving, tender, sexy in parts and an all round good read. Recommended either by itself or along with the other five gorgeous books in the series.

I have really enjoyed the other books in the Bachelor Auction series and I was really looking forward to finally hearing Molly’s story. This was a very good story and I loved Molly and Josh and Gabriel. I have to say that knowing from the earlier books what happened to Josh did not make reading about it any easier. I really loved Gabriel, I didn’t always understand him but I loved him. Then there was Molly, she was so strong but she also had to know when she couldn’t do it herself any more and needed to accept help from those around her (Gabriel needed to learn this one too). This was a great series and there’s a story for every taste in it. As much as I enjoyed this book (and I did) Lily and Beau (Book one Bound to the Bachelor by Sarah Mayberry) are still my favorite couple of this series but Molly and Gabriel are right up there. If you’re looking for a good story with a lot of growth from both the hero and heroine that can be easily read in an afternoon you should give this one a shot. I received an ARC of this book from the publisher through net galley in exchange for an honest review.

So sad, I think this is the last book in this series at the moment . . . . I’ve really enjoyed them all! When I started reading this one I initially thought it should have been the first in the series as it tells what happened to Josh, his accident at scout camp on Copper Mountain and his rescue. However, having read the whole story, it still makes sense for it to be sixth in the series.

In this case, wounded ex Air Force para-rescueman, Gabriel Morales, has holed himself up in a cabin miles from the nearest road. He had a tough time as a child in Marietta but had a great buddy and spent a lot of time with him and his family. That family included a younger sister, Molly Dekker, who had a real crush on him as a teenager. Now she’s heard he’s back and, after encountering him shopping, decides to invite herself to visit him. She’s hoping he’ll not treat her like the ‘nice’ lady as everyone else does. That’s when she hears over the radio that her son is missing . . . .

This story had drama and trauma galore. Gabriel and Josh both have serious injuries that will impact on their future lives. Molly doesn’t like not being independent but has to learn to accept help . . . . A superb book relating the impact of injuries on both the adult and child as well as how these affect their families and other people associated with them. A heart wrenching tale that takes readers through the struggles to these great characters achieving their HEA. Definitely highly recommend this and all the other books in the series.

Thanks to the author and publishers, too, for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Forget the other times that I have stated that the book was my Bachelor Auction favorite, One Night with Her Bachelor by Kat Latham is positively my very favorite. Not a bad apple in the book bunch of this series so each time I read one, it was my current favorite. I have enjoyed Tule Publishing books immensely but this series is a must read for the romantic who also insists on a well written story. It truly is all about the story with this company’s authors.

The auction (for anyone who has not read the series) is to help an injured boy, Josh, and his mother, Molly. As one can imagine there are tremendous bills after his freak disabling accident that happened while on a Scout camping trip. The whole concept of the auction is a wonderful idea that is used as a springboard for each bachelor’s story.

I should have guess but did not that Bachelor Number 6 would be Gabriel’s and Molly’s story. Thanks to this true hero, Josh’s life was saved. Now we know the rest of the story. Unlike the first five, which all begin the night of the auction, One Night with Her Bachelor begins the day of the accident.

Gabriel, Molly and Josh are facing adversities which the author does not sugar coat. Their struggles and rebuilding of their lives gives hope to the reader too. My hat is off to the author for writing an emotional realistic but extremely positive story. If anyone deserves a HEA it is these three. They are the most memorable of any of the characters I have met in the fictional Montana town.

First off thank you net galley for the opportunity to read this book I really enjoyed it. I know this is a book of fiction, but more stories need to be written about the trials that our men and women go through after returning home from serving our country both overseas and at home. Unfortunately, some come home injured in mind, spirit and body. Some do not come home at all. I thank God, and send prayer out for all of them and their families !!!

Okay, back to my review.

This is a book about Molly and Gabriel. Molly is a single mom to Josh. Josh is your typical rambunctious 10-year-old boy, with dreams of becoming a rodeo star. Molly teaches kindergarten at Josh's school. She is a very down to earth caring person, with some problems of her own. Gabriel is a hero! He is a man who served his country overseas with his best friend Scott, Molly's older brother. Gabriel severely injured while trying to save Scott's life when his helicopter was shot down. He now lives off the grid trying to heal his body and mind and spirit.

The story begins with Josh going camping with his scout troop. After Josh leaves for camp, Molly goes to visit Gabriel at his cabin. While there, she hears Josh's name on Gabriel's forestry radio. Apparently, Josh and a friend wander away from camp to an old abandoned mine. Josh falls into a whole when for earth gives way, severely injuring his back. Gabriel rescues Josh getting him out of the hole before it completely collapses. I am not going to describe anymore of the story, you will really enjoy reading it for yourself.

This is a great story of one man and one woman and the story of them falling in love and all its pitfalls and detours.

Ms. Latham does a phenomenal job writing this story. I will enjoy reading other books by her in the future.

Thank you for reading my review.

What a great way to top off the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series! I loved One Night with Her Bachelor. Kat Latham does an amazing job giving us characters that tug on every emotion. Molly and Gabriel have obstacles that keep things far from being easy. One Night with Her Bachelor was a page turner that kept me engrossed until the very end.

One Night with Her Bachelor the last book in the Bachelor Auction Series

Molly Decker is a single mother to Josh, Kindergarten teacher, and is about to face more than she thinks she can handle.

Gabriel Morales is a wounded warrior; emotionally as well as physically scarred. Gabriel has returned home but has pulled himself off the grid living in a cabin upon the mountain.

Molly and Gabriel have known each other since they were kids. His best friend was Molly's brother Scott. Molly finally gets the courage to seduce Gabriel but before anything can happen Josh's name is mentioned on the forestry radio and needs to be rescued.

Molly is having a hard time adjusting to Josh's new injuries and has fallen behind on bills. Her friend Lily comes up with the Bachelor Auction and with the help of Josh rope Gabriel in to help out. Gabriel is one of the bachelors up for auction, plus the local hero after saving Josh. Josh buys him for his mom so that she will smile. Gabriel and Molly have a few things to work out before they can have their HEA but so worth it.

Kat Latham did a wonderful job telling their story. She really pulled on my heartstrings and had me smiling at the end.

We finally get Molly Dekker's story, from the beginning of the series we hear about the horrible accident Josh Dekker suffered and how his mother, Molly has been struggling with the bills and all.

Although each book can be read as a stand-alone, reading at least book one and six together is a must as in book one we learn all about Lily and everything she does to help Molly and her godson Josh.

When Josh suffers his accident he is rescued by Gabriel Morales, a friend of his deceased uncle and wounded soldier dealing with his own traumas.

After Josh bids on him at the auction, he decides to gift the date to his mother (aww, what a sweetheart) because according to him, she smiles a lot when she thinks about Gabriel.

Gabriel and Molly begin to get a lot closer and their feelings grow, however, Gabriel was badly wounded overseas and he has this fear that no one can love him with all his injuries, so in typical dumb guy mode he pushes Molly away. Molly of course, could care less about his injuries, she sees him, not his injuries. Eventually, Molly is able to knock some sense into Gabriel and together they move towards their happily ever after.

Molly and Josh were incredibly strong characters, despite everything that has happened to them, they hold strong and find a way to look for the bright side of things.

Gabriel was at times a bit too detached, but he's a wounded soldier suffering to adapt to the changes in his life. Overall, this book is a real page turner; the characters are realistic and very enjoyable

Wonderful way to end this fun series! Molly finally gets her story and our hero gets his love. Lots of steaminess, plenty of suspense and loving moments. Loved all six of these books but a war hero will always take the prize. Netgalley gave me a copy for my honest review.

I’ve been waiting to hear Molly’s story and I have to say I am over the moon with how it turned out.

Growing more serious but keeping his voice gentle, he asked, “What are you looking for, Molly?”

She swallowed again, but at least she didn’t look away. “Orgasms. At least three.”

When single-mother Molly Decker has an encounter with her brother’s best friend in the local shop, she decides to pay him a visit at his remote cabin. Although their tryst is interrupted by the news that Molly’s son, Josh, has been involved in an accident.

Former Air Force pararescueman Gabriel Morales survived the helicopter crash that killed Molly’s brother but he returned home wounded and stripped of his identity. Feeling useless, he’s decided to hole up in a remote cabin in the woods and go off the grid until Josh’s accident forces him to return to the job he left behind.

Agreeing to be one of the bachelors auctioned in a benefit to aid with the debt Molly accumulated due to Josh’s accident, Gabriel never imagined that a surprise bidder would gift his date to Molly. Undeniably attracted to her, Gabriel will have to overcome the obstacles in his way. And with Molly refusing to let him falter, neither can lose.

This is my favorite novel in the Bachelors Auction series. I could not put it down until I read the last page.

Both Gabriel and Molly have suffered and are still suffering because of the events that have happened in their lives. They were the perfect couple. They knew what the other had been through and what they were grieving for. They also knew what they wanted to fight for.

I was annoyed with Gabriel for not revealing some information a bit sooner, but I could see why he kept it hidden. Molly has this amazing ‘can do’ attitude, but she’s also fragile so it was nice to see her strength shine through.

The plot and flow of this book was simply brilliant. Out of all the books in this series, One Night with her Bachelor had the best backstory and character development.
It also had the best chemistry between the characters and I think that had to do with the fact both characters had suffered because of the same tragedy. This book was also steamy. I swear I heard my Kindle sizzle a few times.

The only problem I had with this book was the fact it was way too short. Given what the characters were up against, this plot could have been developed into a full-length novel. Not that it was lacking in anything, there just could have been more to their story.

Overall, I’m sad to see this series end but it went out with a bang.

This book was a fun read. Kat Latham incorporated some tough subjects into the book but she did it in a way that didn't make the story to heavy and deep. Gabriel's sense of humor was fun and at some points took me by surprise. Josh's character was great - loved how this was developed. Overall, it was a great read and I really would recommend it!

Received an ARC from the publisher through NetGalley. Loved this emotionally packed story of loss and love as well as poignant life lessons. Molly Dekker is a single loving mother of a rambunctious ten year old boy named Josh. Molly is tired of being the "nice" girl of Marietta Montana who always puts everybody else first. She has been thinking lately of her deceased brother Scott's best friend Gabriel Morales. Gabriel Morales was her first crush and she has decided that when Josh goes on his camp out with the Boy Scouts she is going to hike up into the woods of Copper Mountains where Gabriel lives off the grid in a isolated cabin, and proposition him. She needs him to see her as a woman and the word nice better not be used. But Gabriel can only see the little sister of his best friend and turns her down when she comes on to him. Devastated Molly is about to leave when she hears on the radio that, her son is missing. Gabriel grabs all of his rescue gear and goes with Molly to help in the search, Gabriel use to be a pararescuer in the Air Force before he came home with scars to his mind, body and soul. Molly and Gabriel find Josh and but it is Gabriel that is the hero who rescues her son out of a collapsing cave before he would have been crushed, but Josh has not survived unscathed. In the next five months Josh must under go 5 surgeries and is left paraplegic, to live his life in a wheelchair. Molly is devastated not only is she grieving for what her son's life would have been but the quilt that she was thinking of only herself when Josh and his friend wandered off. During this recovery time the bills have started to stack up and Molly's friend Lily goes behind her back and organizes a Bachelor Auction to help raise money for Josh and Molly. Gabriel has been trying to help Molly and Josh in small ways himself but he has also volunteered to be auctioned off. Much to Gabriel's surprise it is Josh who bids on him for a date with his mother Molly. Molly and Gabriel's date is amazing in so many ways. Steamy, lustful yet touching sex scenes with chemistry that is off the chart. Their passion for each other makes Gabriel realize how badly he needs to be rescued and how badly he wants Molly. But Gabriel is keeping secrets from Molly. Will Molly change her mind when she finds out those secrets? With their never quit attitudes, can they both make their relationship work? Can a badly scarred hero find a way to let go of his past physical scars and emotional scars to accept help? What a great read. Loved all the emotions, hardships, sorrow, pain, love, passion, vulnerability and insecurity and lessons that were brought out in this story. Loved that this small town would take care of their own. So real. My first Kat Latham story but definitely not the last. Loved Gabriel and Molly and their Steamy Passionate Chemistry.

I was gifted this book via netgalley in exchange for my honest thought and a review.
This is the sixth and final part to the bachelor Auction series were we finally meet Molly and Josh who the whole town are raising money for.
Molly Dekker really hates being this town's charity case, but her son Josh has been seriously injured and Molly has no other choice but to accept the help she so needs. So she lets her best friend organize this crazy bachelor auction to help pay her huge bills of and to make Josh’s life much more comfortable. Unfortunately she can’t bid on any of these sexy men, but she has a big shock in store when a surprise bidder gives her a gift she never ever expected. And that's a date with the man who so heroically saved her son’s life she is the only one in danger and that's losing her heart to him....
Gabriel Morales is a Former Air Force pararescueman and made a career of flying to the rescue, that is until a very tragic helicopter crash stole much more than his livelihood and his passion. Know being auctioned off like a giant slab of tasty beef is not in his recovery plans at all. But just one look, one subtle touch and one amazing hot night unlocking all of sweet Molly’s pent up hunger and passion makes him realize how much he needs to be rescued..... and just how much he badly wants to be rescued by Molly.
This is the book we have all been waiting for and this is just what we needed to find out how Josh's unfortunate accident happened and how it all went down,
I was rooting for Molly right from the start she just needed that bit of help and a strong man to make her dreams come through and that's what Gabriel gives her.
I enjoyed this book and through out it kept me guessing it was a great ending to the series mind you i would have loved more of an epilogue.

Molly and her son are the reason for the Bachelor Auction. I have enjoyed this series....love the concept of a series written by different authors. This is one of my favorites. Molly was strong but couldn't see the strength within that others saw as she went through a tragedy that affected her son. Gabriel was going through his own personal crisis and he also couldn't see himself as others saw him. Loved how he looked out for Molly and watched over her when she needed him. They both deserved love in their life and it was a touching story that I really enjoyed.

" One Night withHer Bachelor " is the sixth and final book in this series; this book gives us the story behind the Bchlors Auctions , why and who the fund raiser is being held.

Molly Dekker , single divorced parent and kindergarten school teacher is considered nice , but Molly does not wnt to be nice anymore . Molly is lonely , apparently beng nice dies not warrant being dated so when her son Josh has a weekend camping trip with the scouts Molly takes the opportunity to head up to Gabriel Morales cabin. Molly packs camping gear and heads toward Gabriel's cabin under the guise of camping, unsure how her attempt at seduction will be taken.
Molly has known Gabriel since she was a little girl , he was her brother Scott's best freind , and she has been attracted to him for years .
Gabriel may be home from serving , having watched his best freind's helicopter be shot down and getting injured while trying to save him. Gabriel is living the life of a recluse, off the grid totally and having difficulty re-acclimating to civilian life , so when Molly shows up , she is the last person he was expecting never mind his best freins little sister putting the moves on him .
Can you say awkward! Gabriel however turns the situation around and winds up encouraging Molly to spend the day an help him finish up some work and his cabin , and just see were it goes. Unfortunately , as soon as I starts getting intresting , the rangers talking on his radio start talking about Josh being missing

Molly , takes a huge guilt trip over not being available and then right into panic mode; Gabriel was trained tintype air force for search and rescue and takes charge .
These events conspire to bring them closer then ever while still being miles apart , until Lily gets Gabreil to volunteer to be auctioned off .

Gabriel , can think of nothing but Molly , she become his reason for wanting to get better , wonderful story of two people saving each other .

Of course you get an Hea, but you have to get through obstacles first , sweet romance, so worth the read!

this is the last of the series and I enjoyed every single one of them . He said it was a mistake and he wants to get on with his life Time passes and Molly is a full time single mom that makes things work for her and her son. She works and her son grows up and loves horses. She is at the market thinking of all the things she has been missing in life when she gets to the checkout stand with arms loaded. She is trying to lay them down on the conveyor and gets knocked from behind causing everything to fall, exploded or drip all over Gabriel Morles who was right in front of her. Gabriel was her brothers best friend since they were 6 yrs old, She always had a crush on him but he only thought of her as a sister. Fast forward to a week or so... Josh is going camping with a troop and friends. It is up in the mountains and he is very excited. Molly is excited, too. She has made a decision; she is going after what she wants and she wants Gabriel don't want to spoil it for you, you need to get this to see does Gabriel sees her as more do they get together

4.5 stars Hot damn! Kat Latham can write a steamy, emotionally satisfying read into a small package and make every word count! This book had more subject and story line per word than any other book I've read, bar none, and it was hot, sexy, funny, sad, riveting and great all at once. Read this book because I said so, but read it because it's awesome and amazing! It's got the feelz all mixed up into a satisfying ball of sass and it's worth every second you spend on it.

Molly Dekker has had a $hit ton of things happen to her in her short life. Her husband Greg left her after six years of marriage, effectively making her a single mom to their now ten-year old son Josh. Both of her parents are gone, and her brother Scott was killed in a military helicopter accident the year before. But her job as a kindergarten teacher is enough to take care of her and Josh except for fulfilling one need--sex! She's tired of being NICE--the dreaded four letter word. She's had a crush on her brother Scott's friend Gabe since she was fifteen, and she's decided to make a move on him for some sex--only sex, thank you. She doesn't have time for much else lately.

Unfortunately, fate intervenes before she can get Gabe to cooperate. Her and Josh's lives are turned upside down, and her guilt over being out at Gabe's cabin while her son was missing haunts her mother's heart.

Gabriel Morales started out life as a surprise to his mother and a nasty shock to his "dad," and life hasn't gotten much better for him. A rocky relationship with his half-brother and father has made his life in the small town of Marietta a lonely and miserable one. He and his childhood friend Scott had joined the Air Force and gotten out of town as soon as they could, and he'd loved the life of adventure and travel that they'd had as para-jumpers. After their helicopters crashed in Afghanistan and Scott died, he'd retreated to a cabin on Copper Mountain, living off the grid and hiding the injuries he'd sustained in the accident from everyone in town.

Rescuing Josh made him feel alive again--useful in a way he hadn't felt since the Air Force. But since the accident had left him with only one leg, how can he ever work again at what he knows and loves--rescuing people? And even though he's crazy attracted to Molly, he has no idea how to make a relationship happen--or what he has to offer her. When he falls in lust and then into love with her, it's time to make a choice about whether he's going to move forward with his life or stay stalled out, hiding in the cabin forever. It's time to step up.

Molly has become so paralyzed with guilt and fear over Josh's accident that it becomes difficult to let go. To let go and accept help when her friend Lily organizes an auction in town to help ease her financial burden; to accept help from Gabe when he approaches her; and to accept forgiveness from herself and realize that her absence didn't cause Josh's accident...and that she deserves and needs to move forward with her life both for herself and for Josh. She doesn't have to be alone anymore.

This is a wonderful, jam-packed story filled with action, adventure, a boat load of emotional issues, and enough sexual tension and scorching sex scenes to light a bonfire! Loved it and can't wait to glom up the rest of Kat Latham's books. Thanks!

Molly and Josh Dekker, the whole reason for the Bachelor Auction in the first place, finally get their story told. And it's a good one. This series definitely finished on a high note. Molly is a divorced, single mother who teaches. She's definitely viewed as asexual.

Gabriel has had a really rough go of it, first his difficult childhood and then his military service. He's wrecked, quite literally. His PTSD is bad enough, his nightmares are bad enough, his scars are bad enough. It's like he won the "how shitty can things get lottery". And I lapped it up. Gabriel got my emotions right on into it.

Molly and Gabriel have known each other for years; her brother was his best friend. And she has crushed on him for years, so when she wants to feel like a woman, it's Gabriel she goes to. I liked Molly; I got her. She hit a sweet spot for me.

But it was Gabriel who really made this book work for me. I got him even more. I felt his pain, his anger, his insecurity, his need to fix things and inability to do so.

And together, they heal each other - fill in the missing pieces. It's a long road to get there; one of the nicer things about this was the story wasn't rushed at all. Josh was some icing on the cake. I loved how Molly had to learn to let go of Josh and her fears and insecurities. I loved how Gabriel had to start learning to be with people again, and I loved how they fit.

A truly enjoyable read.
