An interesting story about a teenage girl trying to adapt to all the changes happening in her life. Discovering family, first love and a world she never knew existed Meara is in for a ride. Who knew a small fishing village in Canada could be so interesting?

I really enjoyed this book. It caught my interest on page one until the end. The story felt real to me and the author knew how to draw in the audience. Meara is not your typical teenager; she goes through a lot of up and downs this book. Her mother is sick and her father is not around. My heart breaks for this character. Evan is a wonderful character and friend. The book has some interesting turns and twists. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends. I enjoyed it very much.
