Description
One Egg at a Time follows the lives of Issy and Jamie, whose paths should never have crossed. After all, they were born poles apart.
Now alone, Issy struggles to come to terms with her failed marriage, while her brother Toby counts his blessings for the happy family life he has found with Jamie.
In the past, unable to deal with the fallout from her brother’s revelation at school, Issy moves away from home, marrying and settling down after university. And after a tough upbringing, a chance encounter catapults Jamie into a life he could never have imagined with the gregarious Toby. But married life is no bed of roses, and it brings its own problems for them all.
Will Issy be able to overcome her prejudices? Can she reconnect with her brother? How will Jamie deal with the situation?

this book was very complex. or should i say it showed just how complex family can be. whether our siblings or those we marry into. and what happens next. especially what happens next if it doesnt seem to be going right? i found the details and representation in the book did well. it didnt shy away from the subject it came across. and it didnt make it all knowing and all heading towards a happy ending. it simply showed it all for what it was. and this made it all the more fascinating to read. and it made me think over many things throughout which in certain books i do love that they do that.
