Description

Two timelines. One haunted bridge. And a chilling reminder that some evils refuse to stay buried.

For fans of Jaime Jo Wright, Frank Peretti, and psychological suspense with spiritual depth.

Note for Reviewers:

This is a supernatural suspense novel written for readers who enjoy Christian fiction, redemptive themes, and stories that explore the reality of spiritual warfare. If you’re drawn to psychological thrillers with a faith-based foundation, this one’s for you.

When Reese Hayden inherits her late uncle’s home on the banks of the Chunky River, she’s hoping for a fresh start. But the eerie rope hanging from the beams of Stuckey’s Bridge and the strange figure haunting its banks suggest that some histories refuse to stay hidden. As Reese navigates the pain of betrayal and isolation, she discovers the bridge holds more than local legend—it holds power. In 1858, Catherine Porter struggles to find acceptance in a town where her past and present seem to make her invisible. Yet, as unsettling whispers and unexplained disappearances begin to surround Stuckey's Bridge, Catherine is drawn into a confrontation with darkness she never anticipated. Across two timelines, Reese and Catherine face the same chilling evil, one that feeds on isolation and fear. With spiritual battles waging unseen and the bridge at the center of it all, both women must confront the terrifying truth—that some evil is ancient, persistent, and closer than they think.

Two timelines. One haunted bridge. And a chilling reminder that some evils refuse to stay buried.

For fans of Jaime Jo Wright, Frank Peretti, and psychological suspense with spiritual depth.

This book was a page turner! I was thinking about this book even after I was done. And the religious twist was intriguing. I would recommend

Reese Hayden is in need of a fresh start. Then she finds out she has inherited her uncle’s home on the banks of the Chunky River, so, voila, this is her chance! But wait, what about the freaky rope hanging off Stuckey’s Bridge and the strange figure lurking along the river banks? Is that a red flag?

Reece discovers the bridge is a local legend. In 1858, Catherine Porter was struggling for acceptance in town even though her past and yes her present seemed to make her seem almost nonexistent. Due to the sinister nature of this town and that bridge, Catherine is drawn into a suffering darkness she never expected.

This story is unfolded in two timelines, where Reese and Catherine are met with the same chilling evil. This evil seems to feed on their isolation and fear. I found this book a spooky and u settling story with an interesting religious spin.

A Bridge to Die on is a novel of historical and supernatural suspense steeped in darkness yet still manages to point to the light in this world. Her characters struggle with complicated questions of faith, family and redemption.

So be aware evil is just around d the corner but so can be divine help.

I do recommend this book but you must be into some supernatural and fantasy events.
