Crusin' For A Seal

Mary is a Seal and he and his team are in Italy with loved ones to go on a cruise before their next mission. Mark is alone at an outdoor cafe and sees 2 women talking and having coffee. They are speaking Italian so he doesn't know what they speak of.
One of the women sees Mark watching her and smiles at him but goes right back to her conversation.

Sophia is at an outdoor cafe visiting with her mother before she leaves. She is a dancer/instructor on a cruise ship that is leaving the next day. She sees a very handsome man watching her. Her mother leaves a bit later and Sophia gets up to leave and Mark is flirting and trying to talk to her. She flirts and talks back but only in Italian. They are very attracted to one another and she decides to bring him home with her.. He stays with her until the next day and then leaves to go back to his friends, never knowing she was American.

Later in the day, after boarding the cruise ship, Mark sees Sophia. He is shocked but she is even more shocked.! She tries not to talk to him but she gives in. She apologizes for what she did, not speaking English and explains to him that she is engaged to a man, a good man. This cruise is her last as she will be getting married. She isn't sure if this is what she really wants so she was having a last fling.

There is still a big attraction between them though.....

On a stop at a Port and on a tour, Mark sees several men from the crew carrying a very heavy box back on the ship without stopping to have it examined as everyone else boarding the ship has too whether they are staff or passengers. Later he hears a man on the phone talking about a bomb. He goes to his Seal leader and tells him what he has seen and heard. The security Director on the ship is an ex-seal and worked with some of the team so they call him and inform him as to what is happening.

Will Mark and Sophia work through her issues....will the ship be bombed?

I liked this book. It wasn't a "deep" book. but the story was good, It has a great flow and the characters were well developed and very likable.

I would recommend this book!

This was my first book by Sharon Hamilton. It was a great story that had you going and guessing . Mark Beale has arrived in Savona, Italy. His SEAL team are taking a Mediterranean cruise where they plan to scatter the ashes of their good friend Gunny, the late owner of the gym they all go to back in San Diego. While spending time with his teammates and their wives at a local café, he sees a stunning brown-eyed beauty and for the first time in months, his libido kicks in with a vengeance. When she approaches him and leads him away from the café to her apartment, he follows with barely a moment’s hesitation. They have a day and night of wild passionate sex. The next day Mark gets up and leaves because he has to get back to his mission . Later in the day, after boarding the cruise ship, Mark sees Sophia. He is shocked but she is even more shocked.! In this SEAL story the Marc Beale and the SEAL team 3 go on a cruise to scatter the ashes of a fallen Seal, a buddy. Marc also is feeling the loss of a woman he had become very attached to who had recently died. Before he leaves on his trip, he has a one night stand with a woman, she awakened his body, made him feel whole again, as she leaves she reveals her name and he can't stop thinking about her.

On the ship, he discovers Sophia is one of the entertainers, a dancer. When she sees Marc she reveals to be engaged but it is an arranged marriage that her family wanted and would like to continue seeing Marc now that she has met him.

There's plenty of hot passion in this story and action as the ship is taken over by terrorist. It was great to see past couples and single Seals in the story line, it added a lot of balance. A very entertaining book.

Cruisin’ For A Seal book #5 of the Seal Brotherhood Series, was excellent from start to finish. When Mark and several of his brothers from Seal Team 3 boarded a cruise ship to bury a fallen brother’s ashes at sea, they thought it would be a routine thing. Until, terrorists took control over the ship. That is when the real action started.

What I really enjoyed about this book that some of the other books in this genre would not have, is the women are not helpless female they too get on the auction especially Sophia Negri who was a dancer aboard the cruise ship hired for the entertainment and destine to meet and fall in love with Mark.

If you haven’t read the others this series you really don’t have to. All of the books in this series are stand alone. However, to get the most out of the story you really should try to read the Seal Brotherhood Series in order.

Loved this book! Sexy and Hot! Great story!

Another great book in the SEAL brotherhood series. The team seems to do everything together, including going on vacation. Mark meets the girl of his dreams and thinks he'll never see her again. Then Sophia shows up on the cruise as entertainment. Cruising' For a Seal is full of romance and suspense. Loved it!
