Piper Tierney grew up in Marietta, even went to school there but never really had a boyfriend or any relationship there because her Dad taught at the local high school! She did have a somewhat long distance relationship whilst studying but it certainly didn’t work out. Now she’s back in Marietta, living in an apartment above the garage of her parents’ home and teaching Music after replacing her father as a teacher at the school. Her parents have gone off back packing and exploring, making the most of life and occasionally sending back packers to stay in their home.

This time the back packer isn’t quite what she assumed. Sebastian Bloom’s come to stay for his sister’s wedding and cleans up into one very attractive, hot, irresistible hunk and the attraction between the two is explosive. He’s clear he’s only here till the wedding is over and he’s not the marrying kind. Should she take a risk on love or reject his advances? Can he resist her for more than a no strings affair?

A great storyline with strong, opinionated characters in a setting which is becoming ever more familiar as I read more books in these series. Perhaps a little too much detail on the sexual activities for my tastes but still a great read and a lovely addition to both series and some more characters to look out for in future stories. Whoever coordinates the authors for these books is doing a tremendous job as settings and characters from Marietta maintain their identities and characteristics throughout the series even when the books are written by different authors. I’m starting to have a map of the area in my head from reading, it is getting to be so familiar and a welcome virtual place to escape to in the stories.

Book Review: His Blushing Bride by Dani Collins

There were immediate sparks when music teacher Piper Tierney met backpacking graduate student Sebastian Bloom. And it did not take them long to give in to their attraction.

After all, Sebastian was only in Marietta for two weeks, enough time to reconnect with his sister Liz who was marrying Blake Canon, a rancher from the area.

It was supposed to be a no-strings attached two-week affair. But, why does Piper feel as if her heart was wrenched when Sebastian left? She was the one who insisted on no commitments; so, why is she heartbroken?

Funny with lots of flirtatious moments that quite frankly can be used as good pick up lines, “His Blushing Bride” not only follows Piper and Bloom but readers also get to catch up with Meg Canon and Linc Brady (The Bachelor’s Baby) and Liz and Blake (Blame the Mistletoe).

There are many familiar supporting characters that readers can identify as Marietta, Montana residents.

“His Blushing Bride” is Rated M for Mature due to sexual content.

Do you have some spare time to visit the small town of Marietta, Montana? If so, then pick up a copy of His Blushing Bride by Dani Collins and lose yourself to the love lives of high school music teacher Piper Tierney and political doctoral candidate Sebastian Bloom. Piper is a smart and pretty woman, with a birthmark on her cheek that prevents her from recognizing her outer beauty. She grew up in Marietta and never ventured too far out of her comfort zone. She loves her job and representing everything musical in her town. Sebastian's childhood was much less than merry, basically being the man of the house, while his father's military duties kept him away most of the time. Since Sebastian did not want a military career, his father disowned him. As a result, Sebastian made his own success, while putting himself through school and developing a very profitable blog.

Sebastian is passing through town to attend his sister's wedding and spend some time with his teenage niece, who happens to be one of Piper's students. There is an instant sexual chemistry between Piper and Sebastian, which quickly turns into much more as they get to know each other better. Sebastian's prowess in the bedroom provides Piper with some much needed loving and stress relief. Sebastian is in awe of Piper's innocence and her loving ways cause him to reexamine his somewhat womanizing lifestyle.

I really enjoyed this book. It is a quick-paced story with well-defined and identifiable characters. I loved the way Ms. Collins evolved Piper and Sebastian's relationship, with tenderness, desire and realism. This is a well-written book that flowed effortlessly from start to finish. If you are looking for a contemporary romance with the perfect balance of sweetness and heat, an engaging plot, and a happily ever after that will leave a smile on your face, read this book. His Blushing Bride is a wonderful addition to the Montana Born Brides series.

Piper Tierney took over being Marietta's high school music teacher from his father after they decided it was time to travel. She was also busy trying to plan music for the big celebrity wedding in the summer. Piper had never been dated in high school at all for various reasons and the college romance was a big flop, one main reason because of the large birthmark she had on her face. Sebastian Bloom met the Tierney's in Panama, while there on business, and when they found out he was going to Marietta for his sister's wedding, they offered him their house to stay in. He has sworn off being in a serious relationship or marriage at all because of what his mother had gone through. What the two were not expecting was the attraction they had for each other would go beyond what they were both agreed to at the beginning, being friends with benefits. Could they actually work things out and take it to the next level, especially if Sebastian realized that he was not his father and Piper realizes she is beautiful.

This short novel definitely ties in with all the other Marietta books as it helps to bring together another couple who deserve to be happy in their lives. It does have some of the standard romance story line but it also takes it one step farther, making it unique in it's own way.

4.5 STARS Ms. Collin's "His Blushing Bride" is a sweet romance that grabs the reader from the get-go! Piper, a high school music teacher, at times came off a bit stand-offish at the beginning, but as the reader gets to know her, we realize it's due to shyness and innocence and lack of self-esteem. Bastian, a houseguest at her parents' house, is confident, a bit cocky but overall, a loving guy. I enjoyed the interactions with other characters and seeing Bastian as the protective uncle. For me, this was a traditional romance - two strangers try to have a no-strings attached affair but the hearts involved have other ideas. I loved it! It was a bit predictable, as a traditional romance can be, but Ms. Collins keeps it fresh and fun. This is a light and airy read perfect for the beach or your lunch break! His Blushing Bride by Dani Collins is book two in the Montana Born Brides Series.

Piper Tierney is a twenty-four year old band director at the high school in Marietta, Montana. Throughout her life, she remained pretty sheltered, didn’t date, didn’t go to prom. She had her first relationship in college but it was not a healthy relationship. She is one of those people that can’t say no to anyone. She is constantly on the go, accepting more commitments than she should have. It’s the end of the school year. She is trying to finish up the end of year things at school and has committed to playing at a huge celebrity wedding coming up in Marietta. So when she comes home from work, knowing she has to run back out again shortly, she finds a very sexy man sitting on her front porch waiting for her. It seems that her parents who are currently traveling abroad, offered him their house to stay in while he was in Marietta. She does NOT have time for this.

(Se)Bastian Bloom met Piper’s parents while backpacking. Even though his shaggy hair and good looks make people perceive him as a surfer dude type of guy, Bastian is actually currently working on his Doctorate in Political Science. His sister is also getting married in two weeks and he wanted to be here for the wedding and to get to know his future brother-in-law. Bastian has seen enough unhealthy marriages that he has a very poor opinion of long term relationships and marriage. He loves women, but on a commitment free basis only, which means sex and companionship but no strings. He is instantly attracted to Piper but she seems like a girl that would want promises, long term commitments, so he convinces himself he needs to keep his hands off.

“There was something about Piper that drew him more strongly and urgently than he’d ever experienced.”

The chemistry between Piper and Bastian is immediate and strong. Piper knows he is only staying for two weeks, she knows that they are attracted to each other, so she decides that she wants him to be her first. That he is the perfect man to turn her into a woman. But can she keep her emotions out of it and let him go when their time is up?

First, I love these Marietta, Montana stories. I loved that we got to revisit Liz, who is Bastian’s older sister, and Blake as they prepare for their wedding. I met them in Dani’s book, Blame The Mistletoe. Piper is a sweet, ambitious, strong woman who goes after what she wants. I couldn’t help but to love her. Now Bastian is another story. I was so worried about how much he would hurt Piper when their time was through. I really felt angry with him, as if I myself wanted to protect Piper. But, of course, he redeemed himself in the end.

“She did want more than his body. Making love with him was incredible, but it wasn’t enough. Not anymore.”

This is another one of those series where each book is by a different author, this being the first one that I have read. They are short, but are packed with all kinds of Marietta fun and sure to leave you with all the warm and fuzzies you can handle. This one has plenty of the hotness factor which for me is a definite plus. I enjoyed the book very much and look forward to reading more about the residents of Marietta, Montana.

This book was sweet and sexy and lots of fun to read. I liked the contrast of innocence and experience, but it was handled in a great way. Both of the characters came into the relationship as equals who recognize the advantages of getting together.

Really well told story.

I loved this short sweet contemporary romance by Dani Collins. His Blushing Bride is the second in the Montana Born Brides series. It also has important secondary characters of Skye and Chase from Dani Collins' Hometown Hero. I love love love recurring characters.

The heroine Piper is the local music teacher and lives over her parents garage. They sent hone a guy they met on their travels to stay in their house while he visits Marietta. Our hunk hero Bastien shows up and things get hot between Bastien and Piper!

I loved it when they were making out in the local high school make-out spot- because Piper had never been there - and one of her students, Bastien's niece shows up there with her boyfriend! Hilarious!

I also loved that the ending fooled me. Doesn't happen often but loved it!

Am really looking forward to the rest of this series. Can't wait to find out what happened at the celebrity wedding. I got a complimentary copy from NetGalley for an honest review.

His Blushing Bride by Dani Collins is a compelling and fresh new voice for the contemporary romance genre. I was hooked instantly after reading the first page. I then couldn’t put the novel down until I finished reading the entire story. Readers can definitely finish this brilliantly well written novel in one sitting. Dani Collins romance will definitely make her readers blush from reading how one young woman who is perfect but so finally gets to feel and know what other women in her town have experienced. But there is just something about the hot and sexy stranger living in her parents house for the short time his sister’s wedding will take place. He makes her cheeks turn to a crimson red within seconds and leave her feeling needy. And Sebastian feels needy every time he’s around Piper. It’s like magic leading them together. But will there relationship only be short term?

Dani Collins has a way of making her readers laugh and fall in love with this heart melting sweet romance. And her characters are charming and innocent enough to keep readers coming back for more. I enjoyed reading this spectacular novel. It was great to read about a woman my own age who has never been with a man like the way she and Sebastian are. A very interesting read with all of the aw moments that will continue to captivate readers. Overall, I would highly recommend this novel and rate His Blushing Bride a five out of five stars.

His Blushing Bride was an insta-sweet, insta-adorable love story. The book had an ugly duckling to beautiful swan kind of feel to it. I loved the easy, natural flow that Bastian and Piper had. The quick chemistry between them certainly blossomed into the something more that they both obviously craved.

Marietta, Montana is one of those small towns where everyone knows everyone, and a secret told in the morning is on everybody's tongue by lunch time. Piper Tierney has lived here all her life, except for a couple years in college. She is the local high school music teacher, in charge of the community band and never seems to sit down. She has always felt different, she was born with a birthmark on her face that left her self conscious and shy. Most people in Marietta don't notice it anymore, except for her ex boyfriend who hated it and kept trying to convince her to fix it. He is thankfully gone. Her parents are in South America traveling and she's taking care of the family dog.....Charlie. She's content with her life, but a lot of friends are getting married and having children and she fears it will never happen. She can't even get rid of her virginity.

While backpacking in South America, Bastian (Sebastian) Bloom meets an American couple that befriends him. He writes a blog and is working toward his Ph.D in political science. Learning that Bastian is going to Marietta for a family wedding, they quickly invite him to use their home and help their daughter take care of the dog, Charlie. Quite a surprise for Piper when a handsome, travel weary guy shows up on the doorstep, especially when she's very happy taking care of Charlie herself. Knowing her parents have good intentions, she agrees to let him stay. He'll be leaving after the wedding, right? Bastian is immediately attracted, and senses Piper is too. But she's holding back, and he is going to make it his business to find out why.

This sweet story has lots of laughs, romantic moments and weddings. Piper learns to bend the rules sometimes thanks to Bastian, and in the process finds someone who can really love her, birthmark and all.

This was a sweet and short contemporary romance that's guaranteed to put a smile on your face. What started out as a plain and simple sweet and sexy fling turned out to be more for Piper and Bastien. The writing was excellent as always with an almost erotic sweetness to the romance, His Blushing Bride is an entertaining and captivating read.

Piper is a great gal who has a hard time saying no and keeps adding things to do because she doesn't realize how special she really is. Sebastian is in town for his sister's wedding and although he's not into marriage himself, he does think Piper is cute and special. Since her parents offered him a place to stay while they are out of town and Piper lives above their garage the chemistry between them soon gives way to passion. Piper is heartbroken when he walks away and goes back to Calif. What they both learn from the passion and heartbreak is how romance books always lead to the HEA ending we all want. Cute book and I would recommend to anyone.

I really enjoyed this book. It's a quick short read and is so sweet. Piper and Bastian really make a cute couple. But they have to overcome some issues from their past in order to come together. Will they or won't they. You will have to read it to see. I loved the characters and the story flowed evenly and at a quick pace.

I was given a copy by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

From the first page Piper stole my heart. A good-hearted person that is lonely and insecure she craves the happily every after that all her friends seem to have found. Content with her life she never expects to find that special someone. When faced with her parents surprise tenant she never expects to find that one person who sees her for more than her insecurities. Sebastian has trust issues and does not believe that love is lasting. Has Piper found her Prince or just another frog? This story touched my heart and left a lasting impression. Received His Blushing Bride by Dani Collins for an honest review and I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a heartwarming story that stays with you even after the last page is read.

Piper grew up in Marietta she can easily blend right in and she finds that she likes music and it the one place she can hide that no one seems to noticed her. She recently has been faced with some challenges but its nothing she can't handle. Well except maybe this one, he parents are in another country and email to tell her someone will be staying in there house while there gone this is not the first person her parents brought home just the first one with out them her. Sebastian Bloom lands in Marietta and the last thing he expects is to find a women who is immune to him. He is there for his sisters wedding and he wants no women no commitment and Piper is no exception. She's a girl looking for long term and he doesn't believe in long term. When the two of them clash and repeatedly he takes it as a challenge little does he expect what turns out. This was a fun book short sweet but very sassy and saucy. This book has you drawn in and you find yourself really enjoying the storyline right away. There was never a dull moment very fun and you will not want to miss out on the fun people of Marietta.

This cute story about Piper in Marietta and meets a Charlie. Charlie met Pipers parents while he was traveling in south america and they offered him a room as long as he would feed the dog. Piper was not looking for a relationship since she is teaching in high school and doing everything else at the town. She doesn't say no. Plus she never had any intimate relationship with anyone. Charlie and Piper thought they were having a fling but they fall in love and they have their happy ending. This Story was better than bachelor series Dani collins wrote. It was cute and i did like Charlie and Piper.

His Blushing Bride, by Dani Collins is a fun, light read. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and my introduction to the Montana Born Brides series. I will definitely be on the look out for the other titles. I found myself rooting for our main characters, Piper and Bastian. They are two single people who have been thrown together under one roof. Piper is a sweet young lady, somewhat conservative. Bastian is a genuine, kind man. Together they decide to embark on a casual affair. As these things are wont to do, the affair becomes quite complicated. I found myself rooting for these guys to realize they are perfect for each other. There were great secondary characters, particularly Bastian's niece, Petra. I hope she is someone I will see throughout the series. The romance moves at a natural pace, along with the story in general. I ended this book wanting to know more about the town of Marietta, and all of the characters I met during my reading. That is not at all a bad thing, as there are several more books to read in the series. I would definitely recommend His Blushing Bride to any reader of romance, or anyone looking for a quick, satisfying read.

A heart warming story from Marietta Montana. I've genuinely loved the Marietta Mini series from Tule publishing its had it all heartbreak weddings deaths injurys and best of all romance and babies.

This is the story of lifelong Marietta resident Piper Tierney and wanderer Sebastian 'sea bass' Bloom. Piper been a little unlucky in love and as such at the ahem ripe old age of 24 has yet to get the V card stamped, having lived with a facial birthmark that has hindered her love life with many of her potential love interests being unable to look past her face (or so she thought) to the beauty beneath causing her to have confidence issues when it comes to the opposite sex.

Sebastian Bloom has been travelling the world he's met up with the senior Teirneys in South America and been invited to stop in their home whilst he visits his sister in Marietta. He needs to check she and his niece are ok as they have made a few rash decisions since moving to MArietta at least as far as he's concerned rushing into a new relationship in a new place and now with a new baby on the way.

Neither of them want a long term romance but that's what they both end up wanting if only they can convince the other they are there for the long haul. For those who have read the Marietta series they are able to catch up with the people from other bookseller falling in love with 2 new characters along the way.

Excellent read! Piper has lived in Marietta her whole life. She's lived a bit of a sheltered life, so maybe it's time to live a little. Sebastian Bloom is in town to attend his sister's wedding. Piper's parents have offered to let him stay at their house while their gone. Is Sebastian just what Piper needs since he will definitely be leaving or will her heart get too involved??

This book is very well written with a great story that will keep you entertained. I recommend this one!

This is a new author for me and it always great to find another author to add to my favorites. This story was fun, sexy and just down to earth. Going into the relationship it was just going to be friends...right..lol but you could tell it meant more for both of them right away. I have already told three friends to check out this book.

3.5 Overcoming All Types of Assumptions Stars * * * 1/2

I seem to have developed an addiction of sorts...I have this need to periodically visit this place called Marietta, Montana and catch up on all the gossip, romances and people. Does the place actually exist??? Hell, If I know...
All I know is in the the books put out by Tule Publishing... they have come up with a concept of linking all kinds of niche stories together; then put out engaging books which include HEA's, people with slight hang ups about love... and the required smart, hunky guys and loving women.....or loving men with the determination to get the independent, smart woman they love....

It's kinda like chips... you can't read just one, ya know...

This is the second in the Montana Born Brides series. (The Fairy Tale Bride https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...) What we have is the music teacher of the high school, Piper, receiving an email update from her traveling parents. It is informing her of a man who will be staying at their home for a few weeks. It seems they met this Sebastian in South America, chatted and became fast friends. His sister happens to be here in Marietta getting married and she do not have enough room for him at their ranch... thus the need for him to stay at Piper's parents vacant home.

Piper, 24 and not attached to anyone, is not pleased with this idea. It was "fine" all those years when she was a kid for her dad to have the backpackers stay at their home ... then at least both her parents were there...but now... with them away...what will people think...

Why Nothing, of course...

Because Piper, kissed on her face by angels... leaving a rose colored birthmark, knows no one would ever consider her doing anything. For years as a teenager, she was teased or shunned; first because of the birthmark... then because her father was the music teacher and everyone thought to keep her at a distance... never inviting her to ditch or hang...too afraid she would tattle... Piper became the music teacher to young kids... growing into her dad's place at the high school.
What she didn't expect was to still have her VCard at 24. What she had hoped would be a positive relationship at college turned into a selfish insecure guy wanting Piper to "cover up and fix" who she was...Instead she held onto the believe and words her mother told her so many years ago... "when a real man sees you... he will see only the real you... nothing else."

So, here we have Piper thinking she really needs to figure out how to meet some men who would see her not as the boring high school music teacher as all of the decent single men are being snapped up by auctions or other town happenings...when she drives up to her family's house and see this vision sitting on the front porch. Shaggy blond hair, toned but normal man body, and eyes which make her blush just by their gaze alone. It seems the traveler is here already.

Sebastian or Bastian, as it turns out, watches as this dream of the hot school teacher gets out of her car. She is a little stiff but polite and asks him about how he met her parents. As he explains the connection and their insistence he stay and help with Charlie the dog... he notices Piper taking everything in.... He can see she might be interested in him... he is used to women looking and more... He flirts and pink overcomes her face...he asks to go shopping as all of his things except the most important were stolen. She agrees and while they drive into town... nervous energy floats off her in waves. He is intrigued....

Piper is uncomfortable and conflicted... This is weird... he seems interested in her...or is he...maybe he just flirts with everyone. As she ponders this, she is also thinking of all of the music for the celebrity wedding which will be taking place. Dealing with all of that will keep her mind off of Bastian... hopefully...

What does happen over the course of a few days is a real conversation between the both of them...He tells her he is really interested...no lie...she shares she finds that hard to believe...He proves with a demonstration of how interested he is due to just thinking about her...What happens next is Piper deciding maybe Bastian should be the one to show her how things are done.....

This had all of the elements to capture your heart and think of how hard living in a small town could be...how being pegged as the teacher's daughter...and then the teacher could isolate one...how a skewed sense of self could make one think they are just not attractive. Conversely, for Bastian, his personal experience with his parents and their marriage laid the groundwork for his belief in no marriage at all.

We had these two who thought their time together had an expiration date and it would be perfect that way....only to discover they both felt more than expected.

The added benefit was all the other characters who were woven into the story. If we had read their books all the better BUT it was not necessary at all to enjoy this one.

These tales are easy reading; lunch breaks, after dinner or anytime escapes. You can just dive in, be entertained then come back and finish. There are more of the Montana Born Brides series to come and I will be happily reading them all... like those chips I mentioned... it is hard to stop at just one...

High school music teacher Piper Tierney got a facial birthmark that didn't appeal to people, mostly men, that's why she hadn't been lucky in her relationships. Until happy-go-lucky backpacker Sebastian Bloom set foot in her doorstep, literally. Apparently, her parents allowed Bastian to stay in their house for a few days, as he was to take part in his sister's wedding. All seemed fine and blooming between the two, until Bastian had to return home and left Piper behind. It was all for the best, Piper thought, but still it hurt her heart, knowing she wasn't enough worth staying for.

Again, I found myself falling in love with the character/people of Marietta. Piper was such a lovable woman, strong and intense. Bastian, on the other hand, was care-free, self-efficient and so damn hot!

Dani Collins really knows how to tell a great story and how to easily connect the readers to the men and women of Marietta. I recognize most of the characters from the previous Montana Born books that I've read and I can't help feeling "deja vu". Another must read from Ms Collins. I can't wait to read the other books in the series!

Another great read in the Marietta series. It was fun to see characters from previous books settled and or getting married.

I loved that there was more to both Sebastian and Piper than met the eye and how they went about finding out who each of them really were. The story flowed well and it had a natural feel to it. And the funny code word they used!

The end scene in LA was perfect when they both got the HEA that they deserved (after Sebastian had the tables slightly turned on him).

Can't wait to read more in this series.

I posted a review on Facebook and Twitter.

***I received this ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in return for my honest opinions. ***

I have not read the first book in this series but after reading this one it's going on my TBR list. I love that Piper has a flaw...its not even a serious one, but it is something that I have seen friends go through themselves because of how people stare and react. The author really gives us a look at how even though she is used to the stares and questions, she is still a bit self conscious about herself and how others perceive her.

Bastian...oh Bastian lol. He is a mess honestly due to whatever he had to deal with growing up and thinking he would never be a good husband. While he wastes his life away being ...as Piper refers to it..."a manwhore"...he is really missing out, but when they come together it is seriously hot as hell. Their chemistry from the beginning was intense to say the least.

There was so much going on in the book I did get a bit confused but it wasn't too bad. I loved the characters and how things turned out. This was a really good book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm rating it in at 4 hearts!!!

I’ve decided to retire to Marietta and get a permanent ringside seat to all the excitement that seems to grace this little enchanting town. Bachelor auctions, hot cowboys, unsuspecting love weaving magic, and the essence of romance filling the air is just perfect, as these potpourri of authors create love stories around these wonderful people.

The second book in the Montana Born Brides brings out “His Blushing Bride” Piper Tierney even as Sebastian Bloom wants to fight his feelings for her. On a break from his doctorate program, Bastian comes to Marietta to attend his sister’s wedding and ends up falling head over heals for the shy and blushing Piper.

Taking over from her father, Piper is the music teacher in Marietta High. Born with a birthmark on her face and having endured childhood teasing and bullying, Piper maybe a successful and beautiful, but her history with the opposite sex has a lot of learning to be done. And Bastian charms her pants off and they fall into an affair that is supposed to be temporary or can Bastian convince Piper into becoming the next Marietta bride?

Dani Collins writes some really sweet love stories. I loved the fact that she gave her heroine a flaw that could happen to anyone. I admire the way she made Piper into this strong and independent woman, yet vulnerable and sensitive, wanting to be loved for who she is, a beauty inside out. And this beautiful lady sends Bastian into an emotional roller coaster as he tries to fathom his feeling for Piper and convince her of his love being genuine and permanent.

Another charming romance in the town of Marietta, and it’s always so very wonderful to revisit characters from the previous stories.

Ever since I started to read the books by Tule Publishing, and found the place called Marietta in Montana, I keep on going back there, like it was my own hometown. The characters are intertwined with and from different series, and you never have to say goodbye to them, since they keep popping up in different stories, in different series.

This story, His Blushing Pride, took my breath away. Piper has a large birthmark on her face, that made her growing up years difficult, because of the teasing and mobbing. It didn't help, that her father was the music teacher at the local high school, and mother was overly protective of her, because of the loss of son by car accident. Now Piper is a grown woman, music teacher herself at the high school, but still virgin, and no prospects of even dates around. Until Sebastian Bloom rides to town, staying at her parents house. He has seen the world, traveled all over, smart, educated, and sinfully handsome, just 'panty-melting' hot. It was suppose to be a fling. A hot fling. And a lot of the story centers around Pipers innocence, her learning all about the sensual world and possibilities. And it is hot, the chemistry is scorching, the connection real. And the heartbreak at the end, when Sebastian leaves the town, was devastating. The pain, when they run into each other again, was palpable. The story has a great lesson, on many different ways, about casual hookups, and how they rarely work. But Piper and Sebastian, after the desolation of their springtime fling, have a dire face off, that had me in tears. This novella has a lot of story packed into it, romance that makes you think, big meddling families, and Marietta, Montana small town feeling...

This was the first book I have read by Dani Collins. I received an ARC from Netgalley for an honest review. This was a cute love story with a believable story line. The relationship between Bastian and Piper was believable.. An easy and enjoyable read.

What do you get when you throw a wandering sworn bachelor houseguest and a virgin by default music teacher hostess together into a situation where they must interact because of a hyper dog? You get The Blushing Bride by Dani Collins. Bastian and Piper are two individuals from opposite poles of the personality spectrum. Bastian roams the world blogging about his travels and the political atmosphere. Piper is shy around men, inexperienced and a homebody but has no trouble relating to her students when music is involved. When her parents offer their home for Bastian to stay in while he's in Marietta for his sister's wedding Piper must face her fears and communicate with the man who is obviously out of her league but Bastian makes her feel more woman than girl and he doesn't even care about the birthmark on her face.

This sexy little love story is a bit about growing up, about being bolder, more confident, breaking barriers and stepping out of your comfort zone.

Piper has led a relatively quiet, low-key life and, overall, she has few complaints. Sebastian, a ladies man who knows he is easy on the eyes, finds himself staying next door to the interesting woman while he is in town for his sister’s wedding. He finds humor in flustering Piper, and she finds herself embarrassed as she can’t stop appreciating all there is to enjoy about Sebastian. Flirting and then some, Piper decides that her heart will most certainly be at risk if she allows more because, after all, he is only in town for a couple of weeks. Against her better judgement, Piper does indeed take Sebastian up on all he is offering, and then when all the wedding festivities are over, yes, he does high tail it out of town. Knowing that day was coming didn’t make it any easier. Is there any way that this small town band teacher can find her happily ever after, when the man owning her heart has returned to California?

This fun, easy, and fast read is filled with humor and a bit of heat – and yes, I recommend it!

Thank you to the author and publisher for providing me with an ARC, from which this review is based, in exchange for an honest review.

The preparations for the upcoming celebrity wedding are still in full flow in Marietta. Piper, the band teacher has the task of organising the music for this wedding. She is confident in her job but not so much when it comes to dealing with the opposite sex on a one to one basis. If anything, at twenty four, she has only been in one relationship when she was in college and her ex doesn't sound like the ideal boyfriend either.

Bastian is in Marietta for two weeks to attend his sister's wedding. He met Piper's parents whilst backpacking and they invited him to stay at their place for the duration of his stay as the house stands empty during their absence. Piper lives above the garage, which is part of the house. When she arrives home from work and finds Bastian waiting for her, he isn't what she was expecting and she can't take her eyes off him. He realises that she is shy and gets embarrassed very easily, therefore proceeds to flirt with her shamelessly. He also likes what he sees in Piper!

As they get to know each other, the attraction between them becomes very apparent but Bastian doesn't believe in happy endings due to his childhood and past experiences. They agree to have a casual relationship and the heat is on. Bastian is leaving in two weeks anyway, so what can go wrong? Neither of them is aware of what the other one really feels and they part as agreed but Piper finds herself at a loss once Bastian returns to LA. What about Bastian, should he have tried harder?

I like the way they relate to each other and the bond they form during these two weeks. I also like Bastian's niece, Petra and how protective he is towards her. I admire Piper's dedication and hard work. She doesn't complain even when she is always on the go.

This would appeal to those who like an easy to read, sweet, fun and emotional romance.

I received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Piper has lived an extremely isolated life. Oh, she went to school, college and has become a high school music director/teacher just like her father. Her mother has been very protective of her, keeping her home doing other things when she might have been going out with friends or to the prom. There were reasons, but Piper still paid the price. In addition to being a teacher’s daughter, therefore kept out of anything that she might “tell on” fellow students about their activities, there is one other thing that has always been part of Piper’s life. She has a birthmark on the side of her face. And we all know how cruel children, teenagers and heck, even adults can be about someone that is in any way “different”.

Now, at age 24, Piper has a life filled with doing things – ask her to do something for the school and her answer is usually “Yes.” Her one relationship was very much one sided in that she seemed to be the one doing the most giving – only to be dumped when no longer needed by the jerk. And one other detail. She’s still a virgin. That is something she would very much like to change. Piper is a beautiful lady, very insecure and unaware of her own attractiveness to the right man. Not every one of them is a jerk, but she still has to learn that.

Piper’s parents are out of the country, and have emailed Piper letting her know that they have given permission for a fellow traveler to stay at their home for a few weeks. It’s not totally unusual for this to happen, but this time it’s inconvenient for many reasons – but mainly that Piper is home alone living in an apartment above her parent’s garage – now with a stranger staying in the house.

Bastian is handsome, charming, sexy and not one bit interested in a long term relationship and never expects to marry. He has reasons, some might even be good but he is determined to play the field. And that field now included Piper since he is staying at her parent’s house. The attraction between them is fast and strong, but he’s getting some mixed signals and maybe she isn’t as used to this game as he first thought.

I absolutely adored Bastian and Piper as a couple. His sexiness, confidence and charm – her insecurities, cuteness and pure determination made a perfect match between them. Yes, they have things to sort out but in the end Bastian finally understands what all the ever after stuff is all about – but will he believe it’s possible for him. Piper finally met the man who saw the birthmark and it didn’t matter – it was simply part of her. She finds herself falling for him, but knows that he doesn’t believe in forever.

This one I highly recommend for those who believe in love. That’s all of us, right? Grab this one, it’s worth your time.

Piper Tierney is busy wrapping up the school year and planning the music for Marietta’s Wedding Of The Century. She does not need one of her parents’ backpacking hippies under foot. Except the guy they let stay in their house is so much more than the California couch-surfer he resembles. Before she knows it, she’s making time to make time, even though he’s only in town for a couple of weeks.

Taking a break from working on his doctorate in political science, Sebastian Bloom wants to reassure himself his sister isn’t making another mistake with her upcoming wedding to a Marietta rancher. He’s definitely not looking for a bride for himself. Marriage and family are a trap. But Piper is cute, funny, and wants to move on from her ex.

They agree to a no strings affair, but will they wind up tying the knot?

His Blushing Bride by Dani Collins is the second book in the multi-authored Montana Born Brides series from Tule Publishing. This was a sweet contemporary romance about two people, Bastian Bloom and Piper Tierney, who may not appear to have a lot in common but decide to enter a short-term fling while Bastian is in town for his sister's wedding. Piper hasn't had much experience with men and Bastian is more than happy to show her what she's been missing. He's been burned once before and refuses to allow himself to be in a situation where that could happen again but he doesn't count on what develops between him and Piper. There were a couple of points in the story that were rather heartbreaking but you never lose hope that the two main characters will realize that what they have could, indeed, be the real thing.

Piper was oftentimes a tad too naive but she wasn't some cowering wallflower either and voiced out her opinion now and again, something that I think the usually cocky Bastian found fascinating and was part of the reason he was attracted to her. I felt more of the connection between the two of them in the latter half of the story. This book does include characters from the author's past books, one of which, The Bachelor's Baby, I read a few months ago, so it was nice to "catch up" with those characters featured from before. However, this can still be read and appreciated on its own, in terms of both the current multi-authored series it's part of and the other inter-connected titles written by Dani Collins, but when it comes to books, I still believe the more, the merrier. ^.^ His Blushing Bride was an enjoyable read and it gets four stars. ♥

Lovely feel good love story. This well written stand alone novella is part of the Marietta series, and the town is as much a character as the hero and heroine. This sweet, gentle read was fast, fun and flirty. If you like to spend a quiet afternoon with a well written love story, this would be for you.

His Blushing Bride is a wonderful, warmhearted story filled with love, friends, and humor. It has an endearing character in music teacher, Piper Tierney who overcomes life’s obstacles with grace. Sebastian unknowingly falls for her quickly though he thinks that a short term affair is all that he wants. Men can be so blind to their own feelings. The author does a great job painting a realistic picture of their relationship especially at the conclusion. The couple are given a realistic timeline to find their true feelings that work towards a happy-ever-after.

I am impressed that that the town of Marietta, Montana is able to maintain a consistent identity as so many different authors contribute stories to the series. Each books fells like a visit to a real small town that has real people who are struggling with the same problems that we all struggle with in our lives. Often they contain a valuable life lesson through an enjoyable story.

The authors do not shy away from common problems that would hinder a person in life. Piper’s problem is like a former student of mine, honestly I forgot all about the birthmark and never heard another child mention it. However, now I do wonder if it has become a cause for hurt as he grew older. I also wonder if a girl would be judged more harshly than a boy.

His Blushing Bride by Dani Collins is a lovely addition to the Tule Publishing Marietta series. It is one of my favorites by Dani Collins.

His Blushing Bride is a lovely second offering to Tule Publishing’s Montana Born Brides Series and Dani Collins has brought her reader a hot and sexy short romance with a sweet heroine and a hero with a little bit of a mouth on him.

“Sweetheart if we release that animal, we’re not getting him back in the cage.”

Piper and Sebastian were likeable from the start. With a fabulous chemistry their romance was natural, well-paced and brought fun, some heartache and some lovely touching moments.

"She was his for the moment, all his..."

Once again I have developed a little series addiction and whilst each book is l linked to the overall story of Marietta’s celebrity wedding, each could be read as a standalone if you wished.

I really enjoy Dani Collins' books. She writes real characters with all of their hang-ups and issues. None of her characters are perfect. She always gives them a backstory, so you understand why they do the things that they do and think what they think.

Collins also does a great job of weaving the other characters from her prior books into each new book. It was great to see all the different characters from the other books in this one.

Piper and Sebastian have a short sweet romance. But because he is just in town for his sister's wedding, their romance has an expiration date. Sebastian who is unable to understand and deal with his feeling for Piper ends things badly with Piper, breaking her heart.

Collins creates a great the scene in LA when Sebastian comes to the restaurant and Piper sends him away. I loved that Sebastian needed to see her when he found out that she was in town. And I appreciated that Piper had enough self-respect to be angry with him and send him away when he came to the restaurant.

All in all - a very nice romance.

A great addition to the Montana Born Brides. Piper is a lifelong resident of Marietta still living at home, when she finds out that her father has invited Sebastian to live at their home temporarily. He is there for the big wedding of his sister. Being that Sebastian is only there for a short time, the perfect guy for Piper to have a fling with. They agree to a no strings affair, or does it end up to be more. Loved the chemistry between these two characters.
I highly recommend this book. I can't wait to read more of the Bride series. I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review.

His Blushing Bride by Dani Collins was a great story. Piper was easy to relate to because she had something that she was self conscious about to the point where she felt completely undesirable. Her ex didn't help matters and I feel like most of us have had at least one of those. Bastian wasn't an alpha male and normally that would annoy me. In this case it worked perfectly. He was smart, kind and compassionate, but also very male. There were parts where I felt like I was melting because he treated Piper so well. This book is one that I will most definitely be reading again. I give this book 5 stars and can't wait for more from this series.

4 - "I'm your first?" Stars!

His Blushing Bride is the third book in the Montana Born Brides Series, and I have to say it was an absolutely superb read.

”I’m getting the impression you live by a lot of rules.”

Piper and Bastian, were both likeable down to earth characters, their coming together offered a little twist to the normal ‘boy meets girl’ trope. Piper is the towns High School Music teacher, concerned with appearances and aware that everything she does is watched with great interest. Bastian is in town for his sister’s wedding, more of a free spirit he goes where he wants and does what he wants to do. And at this point he wants to ’do’ Piper.

”Sweetheart, if we release the animal…

We’re not getting him back in the cage.”

Dani Collins has mixed the perfect amount of sweet and sexy together into this novella, I loved this pairing, I am absolutely loving this series, cannot wait for the next Bride to get her guy!

”I can’t remember how quickies work… Can you give me a refresher?”

ARC generously provided via Netgalley, and it was my absolute pleasure to provide the above honest review.

His Blushing Bride is book #2 in the Montana Born Brides series and book #4 in the Montana Born Books series and I really enjoyed reading it.

Piper Tierney has a very busy life- she's wrapping up the school year and planning the music for Marietta’s Wedding Of The Century and the last thing she has time for is one of parents’ backpacking hippies under foot but as soon as she sees Sebastian she is attracted to him and it seems he's much more than the California couch-surfer he resembles and she's hoping they can have a summer fling as long as he's in town.

Sebastian Bloom is in Marietta to make sure his sister is not making another mistake with her upcoming wedding to a Marietta rancher ( Liz and Blake from Blame The Mistletoe) and the last thing he's looking for is a relationship but he can't fight the strong chemistry between him and Piper and they agree to a no strings affair.

Piper is very self conscious about her birthmark on her face, she was teased and shunned; first because of the birthmark and later because her father was the music teacher at her school and the kids were afraid she would tattle on them.

Piper can't believe that Sebastian is really attracted to her but she's more than ready to lose her virginity and she knows that he'll be a great lover and they both agree on a summer affair.

The more time Piper and Sebastian send together the harder it is for Piper to think of Sebastian as a short time lover but she knows that he has no plans to stay in Marietta and he told her he doesn't want to get married and have kids, not now and not in the future.

I really enjoyed reading about Piper and Sebastian , I enjoying seeing how Piper was less shy and had more self confidence since meeting Sebastian.

I enjoyed reading about characters from previous books in the series.

His Blushing Bride was a great book, it was sexy, funny and full of emotions and I 'm sure I'll read more books from Dani Collins.

A cute love story with two fun characters. Both say they do not want anything but a fun fling but we know better. Collins takes a common theme and spins it into a fun story with great characters. This is part of The Montana Born Brides but works well as a stand alone.

She does't have time for this.
SeBastian Bloom met Piper’s parents while backpacking.
The chemistry between Piper and Bastian is immediate and strong. Piper knows he is only staying for two weeks, she knows that they are attracted to each other, so she decides that she wants him to be her first. That he is the perfect man to turn her into a woman. But can she keep her emotions out of it and let him go when their time is up?
do they make a day and a life out of it

Surprisingly sexy and very sweet - I really enjoyed this story. This is the first book I have read in the Montana Born Brides series and I can't wait to read more! I loved both Piper and Bastian. Piper is the school music teacher. She's a little shy when it comes to men. Bastian is in town for his sisters wedding. He's never had a problem picking up women but there is something different about Piper. Looking forward to reading more by this author!

I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley for my honest review.

Piper is everyone's yes girl. They know if they need a favor she is the one to ask. So when her family meets Sebastian Bloom and find out he is going to visit their hometown, they offer him a room in their house because they know Piper is sooo busy she will never be home anyway.

Sebastian Bloom is taking a break from his travels and school to visit his family and make sure his sisters Fiancé is the right guy for his sister to marry. Drastically Sebastian's focus changes when he sees Piper. Knowing he should not see Piper as anything other than a temporary roomie he cant help but face that he is beyond attracted to her.

Piper and Sebastian trip, stumble and fall into like and then lust. In their minds this is the perfect opportunity to have a no strings attached relationship, because Sebastian will be leaving town in a couple of weeks.

Will Piper and Sebastian stumble from like to lust and then LOVE, or will this only lead to heartbreak? Read and find out!

I really liked this book. I loved that Piper was so loving and giving but at the same time so shy and a little insecure. I also loved that Sebastian was able to see beyond the small things that other people could not ignore about Piper.

This book was great in the sense that you could see that Piper and Sebastian helped to heal each other. They both had their own insecurities that crippled them in the relationship department but together the blossomed; Piper was more confident and Sebastian was less cynical and ready to accept that there was more to love and marriage than he thought.

Whenever I see a no strings attached romance novel I know that just like in real life someone will get hurt. This book was no exception, feelings were hurt, hearts were broken and of course my tears fell when it happened.

Overall a great book for a great price!

His Blushing Bride has been yet another lovely read from Montana Born Books. Author Dani Collins has penned a heartwarming story and while I'm happy that Piper and Bastian had their inevitable happy ending, part of me wishes there was more of it. Piper Tierney is a 24 year-old virgin, confident and competent in her career and beloved by the Marietta community, yet unable to find a man who will love her for herself. She dreams not only of having a family but also of losing her virginity.
Bastian Booth is more or less thrown at Piper. Visiting Marietta for his sister's wedding, he's staying in Piper's parents house at their invitation. He thinks she's gorgeous. She thinks he's a bit of a hippie, but a handsome one, and there's an undeniable attraction. While the broad brush strokes of this story are predictable (it's a romance, after all), there are a couple of unexpected plot twists, which make it just that little bit more interesting to read.
The story is well written with a fair bit of depth to the characters of both Piper and Bastian.
I really enjoyed His Blushing Bride and am happy to recommend it.

His Blushing Bride is the second book in the Montana Born Brides series. I've read this series out of order, so I haven't read the first one yet, but I really liked the third and fourth books. I began this book with high hopes and was I right.

Piper is a music teacher, highly involved in her community. Due to a prominent birthmark and an asshole ex, Piper has some serious self-esteem problems and is still a virgin at 24. Usually, that's where I begin to regret my choice in books. I really have problems with books that want you to believe that virginity is a "prize" that you have to keep intact for the right guy, while showing the guy as an "experienced" man before he was with so many women before. Oh good old double-standard. More on that later.

Sebastian "Bastian" Bloom is a political science PhD candidate. He's in town to check up on his big sister who's getting married soon. (You can actually read her story in Blame The Mistletoe.) He has some serious commitment issues and is a man-whore - his sister's words - or a slut - his words. Bastian doesn't think of Piper's birthmark as something important. He actually thinks Piper is incredible sexy, like can't-control-himself sexy. Love affair follows.

Right now, you're possibly asking yourself, why 4 stars if you hate the premise of the book? Well, first of all, I really liked Bastian and Piper. The fact is, I liked the way the autor went around Piper's virginity and Bastian sluttiness. She's pointing out the double-standard of it all and it is refreshing. It was a great book, definitely worth reading.

Occasionally I like to mix up my reading and go with something a little softer, a little sweeter, a little more mushy. And I that's exactly what this novella gave me.

Piper has lived in small town Marietta most of her life. Due to a birthmark on her face, she has been self-conscious and shy, afraid that all men will be able to see is the mark on her face. This is brought home to her by a scummy ex-boyfriend who, after losing a bunch of weight, pressures her to get it "fixed". When she meets Bastian, and he convinces her that he is attracted to her and doesn't even see her mark, she realizes he would be the perfect man to be her first. After all, he won't be sticking around, and with the celebrity wedding going on, their won't be a lot of talk when he leaves.

Bastian met Piper's parents while in South America doing some research. When they found out that Bastian would be traveling to Marietta for his sister's wedding, they offer to let him stay at their place. Especially since they know their daughter will have her hands full with end of the school year and the celebrity wedding also taking place. He never expected to find someone as sweet, sexy and interesting as Piper.

Bastian has some issues related to his military father, while Piper's are more centered around her birthmark. They both had to overcome their fears to be together. Family played a large part in this book and there were some real characters. I enjoyed the read and am giving it 3 stars.

Thanks to Netgalley and Tulle Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Dani Collins’ “His Blushing Bride” is a sweet, hot story of a girl stymied by her past and a man determined not to repeat it. This is the second book in the Montana Born Brides series
A complex over an unavoidably obvious birthmark, a jerk of an ex and a father that slakes his wandering spirit by bringing home very drifter who crosses their past during her childhood have held music teacher Piper Tierney back for years. But, she’s ready to shake things up and have if not a lasting match at least a hot hookup with a man who definitely knows his way around the bedroom, shower and whatever other surface he can take a woman on.
Why not learn the art of passion from a player, someone who doesn’t expect more than some fun? Bastion Bloon fits the bill to a T. And better yet, the hotty hitchhiker her dad sends to stay at their house and help with her dog, will be leaving town after his sister’s wedding soon so she won’t have to worry about any awkward run-ins afterward.
Sebastian “Bastian” Bloom is his own person, and in no way interested in anything long term with a woman. Oh, he’s had plenty and has no doubt he can have others anytime he desires them.
He doesn’t count on Piper. The virginal school teacher gets under his skin. Despite the past — his own and his parents’ — tell him marriage never works out; eventually someone always gives in to the temptation to cheat, Piper strikes permanent impression.
From being such a hot little number under that virginal exterior, such pent up passion, to her ability to creep into his quiet personal space, Piper is so much more than the sexy siren. She becomes a friend, the one he looks forward to talking to and getting steamy with morning, night and every opportunity in between. And that blush!
But, can he overcome the past? Or will he leave her in small town USA to return to his home and bachelor life in California? Can he leave her after his sister’s wedding as planned?
I really enjoyed “His Blushing Bride,” provided as an ARC through NetGalley. This second book in the Montana Born Brides series was released May 11 and is available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble and independent bookstores where Tule Publishing books are sold.

His Blushing Bride is a wonderful edition to the Montana Brides series. It is a sweet story filled with love, friendship and humor. Piper is a high school music teacher who has led a pretty sheltered life in her small town. Sebastian is sexy and world traveled and is just in town to make sure he approves of the man his sister is about to marry. Piper has a birthmark on her face and she tends to focus on that fact and she isn't always comfortable around people. What she fails to realize is that her beauty is not only in her appearance but it also comes from within. Sebastian falls for her quickly but he is in denial and feels that a short term affair is all he wants. Piper and he agree to an affair for the time that he is in town. This story unfolds at a believable pace and the author does a great job of conveying Piper and Sebastian's emotional struggles and growth. This is probably one of my favorite books in this series and I highly recommend it. It is a well written, believable story.

Piper Tierney grew up in Marietta. The daughter of the high school's music teacher and band director, she didn't have many dates. Now, her father is retired and she has replaced him at the High School, as well as volunteering for or agreeing to everything everyone asks. Though she would love a romance, she just doesn't have time. Realizing she will never be home, Piper's parents have no qualms offering up their home to the handsome, well-mannered young man they met in a small Latin American village on their vacation when they find out he is headed to Marietta for his sister's wedding.
Sebastian Bloom, may look like a surfer from California, but he is anything but. He worked hard with his mother and sister to build their successful business, and now works freelance while working on his PhD in Political Science. After watching multiple bad marriages in his lifetime, he heads to Marietta for his sister's wedding, and to make sure she isn't making a mistake this time. What he didn't expect was Piper. Bastian realizes immediately that he shouldn't act on the attraction he feels, but the more time they spend together, they wonder if they can have a short-term relationship, no-strings, knowing it has an expiration date. Both these characters were strong, and I really enjoyed Piper. She was down-to-earth and confident in her career, but had been hurt so many times in her personal life, she lack confidence in herself. It was nice to see her confidence grow. Bastian's aversion to long-term relationships and marriage were so opposite of Piper's dreams for the future meant there was going to be pain and heartbreak until they both figured out the future.
Novella-length, the story moved quickly, and wasn't as in-depth as a longer novel but it was fun watching these two work through their relationship and revisiting old friends from Marietta.

Piper is a small town girl who works as a music teacher. She has been isolated for most of her life for two reasons. First being a teacher’s daughter, most students avoided her in case she told on them. Secondly, the birthmark on her face had been a source of teasing and bullying. Her one and only boyfriend had wanted her to ‘get it fixed’ and had dumped her when she had refused. She had almost given up hope of finding the ‘perfect man’. Sebastian is pursuing his Doctorate and has taken a break to attend his sister’s wedding. He is a smart and good looking man who knows the effect he has on women. But he is not the settling down type. When Sebastian and Piper meet, there is some chemistry that cannot be ignored. But they are so different and so are their ‘wants’ from life…

I LOVE Piper so much. She is such a darling with a genuinely good heart and a not so smooth life. I really felt for her and it was a pleasure to see that despite everything, she had not turned bitter. Sebastian is a good guy too and the fact that he is a hottie helps his case too. He is a confident and charming guy who works his way into Piper’s heart and removes her insecurities. They are a perfect match for each other. I also liked the way these two characters interacted and talked and built up their relationship. Though the time period set was not very much, their romance did not feel rushed at all. The author has done an admirable job of developing the characters with their flaws. The additional characters are interesting enough to make me want to read their stories as well. The flow of the story and the narration was just perfect. Also, the language used is simple and inviting. Every aspect of this book complements each other.

This is a complete package that every romance novel should offer.

Sweet and fun read.
Piper Tierney is a music teacher at the high school. She is insecure because of a birthmark on her one side of her face. Her ex-boyfriend wanted her to have it removed so she feels is is unattractive. Her parents are on a trip and has invited a stranger to stay at thier house in Marietta.
Bastian Bloom is the hot stranger that is staying at the house per Piper's parents request. He is in town for his sister's wedding. He is a world traveler and a blogger.
The chemistry between them is fast and takes them both by surprise. There is a few twists before they get their HEA.

I've enjoyed reading Dani Collins and couldn't wait to read her Montana Born Brides story. His Blushing Bride is a sweet and fast read. I loved how Piper and Bastian's story starts, I admit to having a smile on my face and with maybe a chuckle or giggle too. As the second story in the Brides series, I love that we get a feel of how the wedding fever in Marietta encompasses the town. Can't wait for the next story in the series.

His Blushing Bride (Montana Born Brides #2)

Wedding fever has hit the town of Marietta, Montana ...

Piper Tierney is the town's school teacher and always at her best. She has an image to uphold and children who look up to her.
Sebastian Bloom is as care-free as they come. He lives for the moment and this moment he wants Piper :)

I reaaaaally loved this little story! Piper sees Sebastian. She sees him as more than what he paints himself to be to the world. And the more time she spends with him, the more she sees ... and she LIKES what she sees! Sebastian sees beyond the sheltered school teacher persona everyone's labeled Piper with. He sees a beautiful woman he just can't stop thinking about. The chemistry is undeniable. He must have her. And have her he does ....

What starts out as a no-strings fling turns into so much more ... discovery, growth, love, friendship :)

Excellent read !

I enjoy Dani Collins and this book is another great read. Two people definitely opposites decide to have a no strings affair, the only thing they don't count on is falling in love! There were moments when the hero and heroine had me laughing then the next hoping they both wake up and see the great love story they have!

His blushing bride, by Dani Collins, is the second volume in the Montana born brides series. Dani Collins has been writing since a few years, and she is translated into French, but I haven’t read her since a long time. I found His blushing bride very lively, the writing was fluent, the hot scenes were well described and I loved the characters. And there was some humor. As a result, the story made me want to read other books by Dani Collins.

The Montana born brides series is a multi authors series and it’s composed of 6 books : 1- The fairy tale bride by Scarlet Wilson, 3- Bride by mistake by Nicole Helm, 4- Finally his bride by Maisey Yates, 5- Kiss the bride by Rachel Jones and 6- Two nights with his bride by Kat Latham.
For now I only read this one, and even if the book can be read as a standalone, the author often refers to characters whom I felt that they had their own story… but not in the Montana born brides one. Indeed, Dani Collins wrote other books that include most of the secondary characters she mentioned in His blushing bride. That was very confusing. As for me, they are the ones I’m very interested in. The characters from the Montana born brides series are also mentioned in the book but they are less intriguing.

His blushing bride tells Piper Tierney and Sebastian Bloom’s story. Sebastian is passing through Marietta, a small town in Montana, because he has to attend his sister Liz’ wedding. He also wants to make sure that she’s not making any mistake. Piper has been living in this small town all her life and she doesn’t plan to move anywhere else. The attraction is immediate between Piper and Sebastian and they decide to have an affair before Sebastian leaves definitively. Piper has a birth mark on the cheek and she thinks that it’s the reason men aren’t interested in her. So, she needs to trust herself and Sebastian will work on that with her. I must say that I loved her evolution, as well as her realization of her blindness face to the men who surround her. I loved that Sebastian is very possessive with Piper and that he shows quickly his possessiveness. I loved the relationship between the heroes and I believed in their HEA.
I also loved the secondary characters and I really want to read their story: Liz and Blake are in Blame the mistletoe; Meg (Sebastian’s second sister) and Linc are in The bachelor’s baby; Skye (Piper’s best friend) and Chase are in Hometown hero.

I recommend His blushing bride but I’m not very interested in the other volumes in the series so I won’t read them for now.

I loved, loved, loved this story.

This is the story of Piper and Sebastian also known as Bastion. Piper and Bastion are two people emotionally scarred in their own way. Piper grew up being always being the odd one out because of the birthmark on her face. Teased buy all the boys and girls all the way through high school. In college, she met Kevin, a man she stayed with for four years. He broke it off when she would not do something and have her birthmark removed. The man was the scum of the earth. Piper's mom told her that when she met the right man he would never see the birthmark he would only see her. Piper's parents met Sebastian in Panama. While they were talking, Bastion mentioned that he was going to Marietta for his sister's wedding. Arlene and Henry offered to let Bastion stay in his their house while he was in Marietta. Could they have been playing matchmaker? Hmmmmm?

This is a wonderful story of two people falling in love without realizing it.

The author Dani Collins does a wonderful job writing the story with her phenomenal way of describing her characters and all the scenes just take you into the story.

I want to thank Net galley and Tule Publishing for the ARC of this book. Tule publishing, you have another winner in this book. Dani Collins you are such a wonderful author! I cannot wait to read more of your wonderful stories.

Bastian and Piper are strong, self-contained personalities that involve you and keep you turning the page to experience the engaging dialogue and sweet interactions. They strove to complement and enhance each other rather than go on that "you complete me" track.

Sweet, engaging and a definite recommend.

This was probably my least favorite of this series. Neither Piper nor Sebastian really resonated with me. Piper's issues with her birthmark felt a bit neurotic to me, especially at her age. Her sensitivity felt over the top. Sebastian (Bastian) had marriage issues - you know, the kind that say marriage is a trap and the worst thing ever no matter what. Piper's about as wholesome as you can get without having a halo. She's a music teacher, not a risk taker, sweet, gentle, an animal lover, etc. She's also supposed to be doing the music for the big wedding. Bastian is a footloose adventurer who is also a self-described policy wonk with a blog. Oh, and he looks like a surfer god.

They are seriously attracted to each other but it's the whole "I want to punch my v-card" and "I'm never getting married so no expectations". Yeah, right. Like that ever works in a romance novel. The "realization" scene was emotional, but the rest felt rough enough that it wasn't enough to drag the book into "really liked this" territory.

I did like the strong links to other characters and other books, that interconnectedness that comes through so often with the Marietta books.
