Description

Chad Anders doesn’t know why mousy Cynthia Henley trips all over her tongue when she’s around him. Nor does he understand his undeniable attraction to this good girl. Wild and sexy is his type, like the dream-girl he caught a glimpse of years earlier he’s never forgotten.

Cynthia’s superpower is invisibility, especially with men. It’s better for everyone that way. Besides, she’s got a cat. She’s okay. But when playboy-rancher Chad hires her, she’s got a chance to shine. Professionally, at least. Until she learns of his fascination with a mysterious dream-girl, who was actually nothing more than a shy teenager on an ill-advised dare all those years ago. Cynthia knows she’s no man’s dream-girl and never will be.

But there’s magic at the ball. Princesses glow in the starlight, princes appear out of nowhere, and, sometimes, they look a lot like cowboys…

A Note From the Publisher

Born under a Scorpio moon, raised in a little house on the prairie, Roxanne Snopek said “as you wish” to her Alpha Farm Boy and followed him to the mountain air and ocean breezes of British Columbia. There, while healing creatures great and small and raising three warrior-princesses, they found their real-life happily-ever-after. After also establishing a successful freelance and non-fiction career, Roxanne began writing what she most loved to read: romance. Her small-town stories quickly became fan favorites; print editions of her latest series were recently launched in France.

Cynthia Henley is the C in DMC Solutions. It's a company that manages media support, graphic design and party planning. She has two step-sisters, Dee Dee and Maddie and they are the event planners. Her sisters call her Cinderella because she is the dependable all work no play sister. Cynthia's mother passed away and her Dad remarried Joanie Cash who had twin daughters who immediately fell in love with Cynthia as their "little" sister. No cruel stepmother or step-sisters, but Cinderella she was. When she was in high school she had a major crush on Eric Anders as did all the other girls. He grew up to be a championship rodeo rider but an injury ended his career. He recently fell in love with a young woman and her baby, and had settled down. ( The Cowboy Next Door.) Chad ( Eric's brother) and Eric have started a Charitable Foundation called Building Tomorrow. They are working with local teacher /builder Logan Stafford to finance his student staffed work re-habbing old homes for low income owners, (Finding Home.) Chad has asked Cynthia to do a fund raiser dance called The Fixer-Upper . She is handling all the media work, her sisters are supposed to be event planning, but, Dee Dee got a call to head to NY for a modeling job and Maddie broke her ankle. So, and as usual, Cynthia does it all. The more time she spends with Chad, the more attracted to him she is, but she knows she is too plain and quiet for him, not to mention the debilitating stutter that appears when she is stressed.

This story was very enjoyable to read, but I wanted to bang Cynthia's and Chad's heads together a couple times. So stubborn! This is a great series by Ms. Snopek, especially when we get to revisit old friends in each book.

I received this ARC from the publisher and Netgalley for an honest review. Pat Fordyce

Chad is back in town and ready to uncover some dreams and secrets and help a friend raise some money to help underprivileged kids, he knows one person that can make that happen Cynthia Henley. Cynthia has some secrets of her own and is happy to keep them there and is ready to have a "business" relationship with Chad to help him get this party going, only problem is that she wants to keep is as a working relationship and her sisters have other plans.
This is such a cute and simple read, don't let the title fool you though this is not another modern day fairy tale. This book is packed with fun and with some fun and crazy characters. Its back into Marrietta Montana and you get to catch up with some fun people in other Montana Born books. You really can go wrong with this sweet and chemistry filled book.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review. The story is a cute romance between two unlikely people. Chad and Cynthia both have insecurities. I was able to feel their emotions. They go through the process of learning to take chances and realize their own worth. This is a short read and is a great way to escape for few hours.

Roxanne Snopek masterminded an adorable read when she wrote Cinderella's Cowboy. This story was a great read. I loved the underlying theme of your true self is what shines through and draws people to you. This book will keep you believing in finding Prince Charming. Cynthia a shy introvert is drawn to Chad an outgoing playboy. For some reason Chad is intrigued by this quiet little wallflower. An ARC was given to me for my honest review and I am so in love with this story, just might read it again.

Cinderella’s Cowboy by Roxanne Snopek hooked me from the very beginning and didn’t let up for three hours (that’s approximately how long it took me to finish this book from cover to cover in one sitting). Right away Cynthia’s humor and self-deprecating snark drew me in. I was barely off the first page before I was grinning—it was a great start to a fantastic book.

Technically speaking, like all of Ms. Snopek’s books, the writing was impeccable. I read an ARC obtained through NetGalley, so there were a few bumps and bruises at the beginning—mostly dealing with curiously absent hyphens mid-strungtogether-phrases (see what I did there?) and one or two fragment sentences, but nothing so big as to pull me out of the story. The narrative moved along at a quick pace and flowed seamlessly from the first word to the last.

I adored the characters especially. Cynthia was a no-nonsense sort of woman with a snarky sense of humor and just enough anxiety to make her downright adorable. In contrast, Chad was an all-too-sure-of-himself cowboy with a sexy swagger and charm dripping from his pecs. The two really couldn’t have been any more different, and yet, they worked. Cynthia threw Chad off balance in a way that brought him back down to earth. They were good for each other, and I loved the understated chemistry between the couple.

There were definitely some undertones of the original Cinderella story running through the book, but it wasn’t so blatant to call this an alternate version of the fairytale… more like a tip of the hat in that direction. It was fun to see the similarities between the two stories, but also the contrasts. Though let me tell you… the stepsisters were by far not my favorite people… maybe it’s because I have a little Cynthia in me, but I loathe people who are shallow and irresponsible—and boy those girls got under my skin!

Overall, I really enjoyed the story. My only wish is that the story had been a little longer. I sped through Cinderella’s Cowboy like it was an 8-second bull ride, and when it was over I desperately wanted more. I hesitate to say that I’d probably have loved the story more had the romance between Cynthia and Chad dragged on a little longer and been a little more steamy—but that’s mostly a personal preference.

If you’re looking into getting this book be aware that it can stand alone, but it’s better if you read it along with the series. There are numerous mentions of characters from previous books, and if you haven’t read them, these characters may come off rather 1-dimensional. Their stories weren’t necessarily delved into in this book, and they really weren’t meant to be (because they do have their own stories). If you read this book having missed the previous stories, you’ll probably still enjoy it, but maybe not to the degree that you could.

I urge you to pick up this book if you like contemporary romances filled with humor, clean romance, and sexy cowboys—you’re going to like this. It’s a quick read, and perfect to enjoy over a rainy weekend.

Chad thinks he wants her twin sisters or at least one of them and Cynthia believes he's just like her school crush and his brother Eric. She's shy and could be bitter about all the attention her sisters get so easily but instead she has anxiety that sends her into stuttering. What a mess! Chad comes to her business to do an event that is close to his heart and realizes that they have more in common than he ever thought. A true old fashioned romance with the hea ending.

Another great book from an author I always seem to enjoy. This Montana Born book concerns Cynthia Henley, who is nicknamed Cinderella by her beautiful, rich, spoiled twin stepsisters because she is always working hard. Her stepmother isn’t wicked and lent her the money to start up her own business but also wanted her daughters to be involved, too. The money is great but her stepsisters are not the most reliable of business partners! Cynthia is used to being invisible to men when her stepsisters are around and usually doesn’t mind but with Chad, things are definitely different.

Playboy rancher Chad Anders saw his dream girl many years ago but has never managed to actually identify her. He thinks it may be one of the twins and certainly doesn’t assume it may be Cynthia but he can’t deny he’s attracted to her and she’s working for him to organise and promote a charity launch that is very dear to his heart.

Will Cynthia find her own Prince Charming and Chad identify his dream girl? This humorous book is a great read that keeps you riveted to find out what happens. The characters are complex and revealed a little at a time, making them more believable. This is a great addition to the whole series and it is lovely to keep reading about some of the characters met in earlier books but it will still work as a stand alone, too. I really appreciate this series which doesn’t need to use any hints of erotica because the stories are so well written the author has no need to lower the tone of her books in that way. I highly recommend this book and the whole series to anyone who enjoys escaping into Montana for a great romantic read with strong characters and great plots.

Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too, for letting me read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

"Cinderella's Cowboy" is a sweet and fast read. I liked Cynthia - she works hard and is brave - she suffers from a speech impediment - stuttering. Yet, she tries not to let that hold her back, despite some embarrassing moment due to it. Chad is a cowboy and a playboy, thinking he wants to hook up with one of Cynthia's stepsisters. However, the woman he discovers Cynthia to be shocks him to his core. Overall, he's a good guy that is looking to create a foundation to help kids in need. At times, I found the writing to be a bit choppy - like a thought or scene wasn't finished. But, that could be due to it being an ARC and hopefully will be fixed by final edit. Overall, this is a fast, fun read that had me cheering on the heroine, wanting to smack the hero upside the head and smiling a lot! (received ARC from NetGalley for honest review)

A sweet fast read that will keep you entertained. I must say I'm a huge Roxanne Snopek fan. I missed having an amusing animal in the middle of the story. This is definitely a take on Cinderella. Cynthia has 2 stepsisters that seem to have all the fun while she does all the work. But Cynthia does have the eye of the prince, Chad Anders! I recommend this one.

Cinderella's Cowboy is a cute and very engaging novella. Both of the main characters in the novella are very likable. From their first interaction you find yourself liking both Chad and Cynthia. As always with novellas, I want more of the story and I want more dialogue between the characters. I wanted the author to tell us a little more about what was going on in Cynthia mind when she was a teenage girl and had her one wild moment. Also, what Chad had been doing and thinking on that night that he saw his dream girl. More detailed flashbacks to that time would have added to the story.

It is clear that Chad is more than a pretty face and "good time" guy. Clearly living in the shadow of his once famous brother it was enjoyable to see a girl recognize how talented and special he really is. And almost from the beginning Chad was having the same thoughts and feelings about Cynthia.

Chad and Cynthia really weren't so much opposites attracting as they were people only recognized for one or two aspects of their personalities. It took them finding each other to find themselves.

A truly enjoyable read!

Let me start with the fact that I haven’t read the rest of this series (surprise, surprise) and I think that it somewhat impacted how much I understood about what was going on. There were some definite undertones in the relationships as well as some incidents from the previous books that come into play.

Now, having said that, I have to admit that I REALLY liked this story. Cynthia and Chad are fantastic. She’s got that right amount of grit and snark to keep me coming back. She’s been in the shadow of her step sisters for a long time – long enough that she’s forgotten what it might be like to shine. Having the attention of a sexy cowboy may just be what she needs …

And she helps bring the real Chad out. He’s at a point where he is starting to evaluate his life choices when Cynthia falls into his lap. She’s the perfect foil to what he’s used to – caring, hardworking, smart, and sexy but a little unsure of herself. She intrigues him, capturing his attention at a time when he needs something real in his romantic life.

Cinderella’s Cowboy is a short read, but very satisfying, with plenty of humor and snark, heat and sparks, and small town heart. I won't even get into the Cinderella with a Western twang part of it - but I will say it is a fun take on the classic story.

If you’ve read the rest of the This Old House series I’m sure you are going to be a happy camper. If you haven’t, you can start here but since I know what fantastic books Ms. Snopek writes I recommend starting at the beginning – you won’t regret it and I think that you’ll enjoy this one all the more.

Cynthia has a stepmother and two beautiful twin stepsisters, plus her family often calls her Cinderella – but that’s where the fairy tale and real life part ways. In reality her stepmom Joanie was a wonderful woman and Maddie and DeeDee were in no way evil stepsisters – beautiful, spoiled and careless yes, but then when you looked like they did it’s almost expected. During high school, the twins has sparked many a teenage boy’s fantasies. Cynthia was an average girl, in her opinion, with a stutter that showed up at the worst moments of her life. When she was nervous, like when delivering a speech that was caught on video and uploaded to Youtube, her stuttering often had disastrous results for her. So, no – even though Cyn was a beautiful woman by any man’s definition, she saw herself more like Cinderella than she might admit to her family.

As a teenager, Cynthia had had a hero-worship crush on rodeo star Eric Anders. The one time she stepped outside of her quiet, always the good girl image was at a pool party he attended. There were rumors for years after of skinny dipping by the twins at that party, but only one man had gotten a look at the naked girl with a towel over her head, darting around the corner of the building. A memory that would stay with him for years. Now, Cynthia cringed whenever she remembered that night, and a drunken dare and thanked her lucky stars that no one had seen her disgrace. Or so she believed.

Fast forward to the present day. Eric Anders is a happily married man now. Cynthia has her own business, along with the twins, although let’s just say that Cynthia ran her own business in spite of the twins. Her company specialized in event promotions, and with a few more good jobs she could finally pay off the loan her stepmother had given her and really make the business completely her own.

That possibility was standing in her office doorway. Handsome cowboy Chad Anders. Rancher, playboy and brother to ex-rodeo star Eric. He was looking to put on a pretty big event, the kick off of an organization that would put at risk kids to work refurbishing older homes, giving them job skills and a chance at success they might not otherwise have. He wanted everything her company had to offer in making this event a whopping success and had the money to spend on it. And he insisted on working very closely with Cynthia.

What a fun, enjoyable and laugh along with story this was. I adored Cynthia, and Chad’s reaction to the twins was so often priceless. It was easy to see the sparks between Chad and Cyn early on. Watching their love story unfold was such fun. I certainly could feel for Cynthia as she battled years of standing in the twin’s shadow – but Chad was determined to make her shine, and for that I loved that cowboy even more. And Frohike just stole my heart… don’t recognize that name? Read the novel, he plays a large, if underplayed part in this romance. I really loved the epilogue on this story, it truly put the cap on the whole story for me.

Looking for a feel good, charming fairy tale of a story to sink into? Then Cinderella’s Cowboy is exactly what you need. I’d highly recommend this one for anyone who simply enjoys a good, clean, love story. And who doesn’t love that, really? Pick this one up and read a modern day Cinderella tale, Prince and all.

Cinderella's Cowboy was a really good read.

The storyline was fun and enjoyable and the characters were well developed and relatable.

I'm a big fan of Roxanne Snopek's work and once again she's given us an entertaining read.

You will definitely want to read this one, I highly recommend it.

Thank you Netgalley and Tule Publishing for the advance copy in exchange for my honest thoughts.

I have been enjoying the Tule Publishing books set in fictional Marietta, Montana. Cinderella's Cowboy by Roxanne Snopek is the first book I've read by new to me author Roxanne.
Cinderella's Cowboy is a fast enjoyable read that has hints of the original Cinderella story. Shy Cynthia has two beautiful stepsisters that she is always in the shadow of. But rancher Chad sees something that others have missed. Great writing and fast moving. Highly recommend.

Now I need to read Snopek's The Cowboy Next Door so I can read Eric (Chad's brother) and Leda's story.

Cynthia Henley, aka Cinderella, as nicknamed by her not evil but instead clueless (and unfairly gorgeous) stepsisters, has a company to run and a name to make for herself … or, remake, as it were. Chad Anders is the not-famous but still unbelievably handsome brother to Eric Anders, the nationally known former rodeo champ. Successful in business, but equally successful with the ladies, apparently one of Chad’s main goals in life has been to get some quality one-on-one time with at least one, if not both of the stepsisters. Hiring Cynthia’s company to help him develop, organize, promote, and host a fundraiser initially has Chad thinking this may be just the opening he needs to get up close and personal to the stepsisters. Instead, Chad finds himself ever more intrigued by Cynthia. Realizing that she isn’t as plain or ordinary as he had always assumed her to be, Chad turns on his smile, charm, and toe-curling kisses to fluster Cynthia, while hoping for much-much more. Working closely with Chad makes Cynthia realize the teenage crush she had on Eric has changed into a crush (or more?) on Chad, but she isn’t foolish enough to think her feelings could ever be appreciated or reciprocated, so she rebuffs his attentions and strives to keep their relationship strictly professional.

This book is a quick but fun read, and a different, yet familiar feel of a grown up Cinderella story. It was enjoyable to read and very much recommended.

Thank you to the author and publisher for providing an ARC, from which this review is written, in exchange for an honest review.

Wow, I really enjoyed this book, despite not having read the previous books in the series. I must admit to some initial confusion and feelings that I was missing some clues, but once I settled into the story, I was fine. So, I guess I'm saying it stood alone, but it wasn't easy. That being said, what was easy? The beautifully drawn characters and the lovely fantasy of a romance Roxanne Snopek offers readers. Based on the excellent writing displayed in this book, I think I will seek out the others in the series. Primary characters with clear voices, interesting and quirky secondary characters make this book come alive. The story itself is a lovely happily ever after journey and I became easily immersed and invested in the outcome.

Let’s face it, some people are blessed with awesome, supportive siblings and some people just aren’t. While there’s nothing overtly wicked about Cynthia’s twin step-sisters, Maddie and DeeDee, there’s nothing particularly supportive about them either. And it’s not because they’re beautiful and vivacious and attention-seeking, because Cynthia doesn’t always mind hiding behind the glare of their glamour, but as two spoilt young women who have always been given everything they want, they make for terrible business partners. Her sisters might call her Cinderella as an occasional joke, but there’s no denying she does the bulk of the work at all times.

Which is fine, because if it had been up to Cynthia the business would have been hers alone, but her stepmother provided the loan then added the sibling strings and now Cynthia is stuck. Until she makes enough money to buy herself free. Which is why she can’t turn down the chance to work for Chad Anders, even if he has witnessed two of the most humiliating moments of Cynthia’s life – and knows all about her teenage crush on his older brother, Eric.

Speaking of siblings, I was so massively disappointed in Eric in this book. True, I had my doubts about him in the previous book of this series, but both he and Leda are awful here. He constantly lets poor Chad down, while Leda is just mean and very prickly. I really didn’t like either of them, but it hardly matters because their moments are minor and I really liked Cynthia and Chad.

Not only is Cynthia hard working and really good at what she does, she’s sweet too. The way she tries to tame the kitten is adorable, and I loved that although she has a stammer she never lets it hold her back. In fact it’s not really an issue at all, despite her frequent attacks of nerves. Things between her and Chad bounce between flirty fun and awkwardness, with a hint of sweetness throughout, despite the many and various interruptions from certain loved ones. The way their relationship lurches from friends to maybe more, to not even that, to somewhere in between certainly kept things interesting.

True, Chad doesn’t always treat (or rather think of) Cynthia the way he should – and wow, is his attempted declaration one of the most badly phrased I’ve ever read (Mr Darcy’s first proposal aside) – but I still liked him. He’s trying to do a good thing, despite zero help from his supposedly wonderful brother, and he’s also trying to track down his dream girl, even if he does it in a foolish way. Yet his humility, his fun and flirtatious ways and the way he looks after Cynthia are just lovely, and his second try was so much better than the first.

In all this is a lovely, quick read with an adorable romance and two great central characters. That epilogue certainly left me curious, though, and I’d love to read more about Maddie some time.

Cynthia and Chad both had something to prove. Her in a business way, she wanted to pay off her loan and make a success of the business. She has what it takes but her two stepsisters were more trouble than they were worth. Even though she loved them she ended up doing the majority of the work. But they were also a condition of her loan too. Her stepmother felt it would help draw them together even more and help her daughters learn to work, not just party. The nice thing is that the stepmother Joanie wasn't the evil stereotype but she did tend to have her head in the clouds somewhat when it came to reality.
What was Chad trying to prove? That he wasn't the almost invisible brother to Eric, for one thing. That he wasn't only a playboy type when it came to women. That he wasn't going to keep the guilt money from his grandfather; he was going to help others re-build with it. I thought the author did a really good job of drawing you into the feelings of both of the M.C.'s. You could easily understand their feelings, and their insecurities.

A sweet romantic comedy, Cinderella's Cowboy by Roxanne Snopek brings readers back to the fictional town of Marietta, Montana and this time, rodeo star Chad Anders and mousy Cynthia Henley take center stage.

Nicknamed Cinderella by her two step sisters because she is a workaholic, Cynthia found herself the event planner and publicist for “Building for Tomorrow”, Marietta’s charity event of the year which is being underwritten by Chad Anders and his brother Eric.

It should be easy peasy, right? Not really because Cynthia’s traitorous heart cannot withstand the flirtations and Chad’s kisses while she is still unsure if her prince will turn into a frog at the end of the evening.

Cinderella's Cowboy, which is Book 4 of “This Old House” series is Rated T for Teens like the first three books before it.. There are no sex scenes in this book.

Fans of the “This Old House” series will also have a chance to catch up with Eric Anders and Leda Plett from “The Cowboy Next Door”, Melinda and Austin Sweet from “A Sweet Montana Christmas” and Logan Stafford and Samara Davis from “Finding Home”.

A modern day fairytale loosely based on Cinderella, one of my favorites. Cynthia has two gorgeous twin step sisters, who have always been in with the good looks and boys. Cynthia on the other hand is just average and has a speech impediment. Chad is a cowboy and a playboy, never looking for anything serious. Cynthia has taken on the job of hosting a party for Chad business, otherwise known as the ball. Can these two opposites, fight off the attraction.
This is the fourth book in the series, but can be read as a stand alone. Once again Roxanne has he trademark of a cute animal in the story line. Love the humor with this story. I highly recommend this for a fun afternoon read. I received this book from NetGalley for an honest review.

Sweet romance with a serious girl and a guy who doesn't know what he's looking for until he meets her.

This was an awesome modern Cinderella story! Complete with ditzy stepsisters, Prince Sometimes Charming, and the misguided stepmother.

Cynthia's whole life revolves around keeping it together. Too bad she is stuck in a business with her gorgeous and flighty stepsisters. Afflicted with an anxiety-triggered stutter this makes life really difficult for our Cinderella.

Player extraordinaire Chad is in need of Cynthia's help. Little does he know that she's been his fantasy girl for years.

This book was full of witty banter, smoldering looks, and moments that make you say Awwwwww. This really was a sweet (clean) romance and everything you could hope for in this version of a much beloved fairy tale.

Cinderella's Cowboy has much to like. First is that it is Marietta’s modern version of this fairytale. I love visiting this Montana town and catching up with its residents. Then the different take on the family and Prince Charming is refreshing and original. I am glad that her Dad, though rather silent in the tale, is alive and well in this version. I also liked that he made a wonderful choice in his second wife. I have always wondered how Cinderella’s father could have been so dumb in choosing a horrible stepmother. Roxanne Snopek corrected that in this more acceptable version for me. I like the well-meaning but self-centered stepsisters too. Hoping now that Maddie has had an epiphany of sorts, she will receive her own story.

Even though it is a novella, I totally connected to Cynthia, her insecurities and her commitment to her business. I probably saw more symbolism in the small cat than I should have. Both Cynthia and the kitten were feeling invisible, unnecessary and unwanted by those around them. I shed a few tears over them and could not help but continue reading to see if they received the much needed happily ever after.

As for Chad, yeah I get that he felt that he was always in Eric’s shadow, but he is far from perfect. I think deep down I always felt that Prince Charming was a player. Ms. Snopek and I agree on that. Do I feel that this leopard changed his spots? Well, I guess I need to see what is up with Cynthia and Chad in maybe five years or so to believe it.

4.5

A real Cinderella story only the evil resisters aren't really evil just a little spoilt and they love their cinders and Prince Charming is a player who has self confidence issues over being an also ran when compared to his brother.

I've loved the Marietta Mini series and Chad Anders has to be one of my favourite cowboy heroes he's hot and he knows it but when your brothers a famous bullfighter you sometimes feel like your looked over a lot or 2nd place in a competition you didn't even realise you had entered. This is Chads chance to move out from beneath his brothers shadow and make their charity work count he just needs DMC Solutions to make it happen.

Cynthia Henley has 2 gorgeous step sisters who have been spoilt rotten by their mother (her stepmother) Joanie who encouraged them to go into business together but it's always Cynthia that does all the work she knows Maddie and DeeDed love her but it doesn't stop her feeling like Cinderella with her step sisters taking all the credit for her hard work.

Cinderella's Cowboy is book #4 in This Old House series and I enjoyed it but not as much as other books in the series.

If you read the other books in the series you already met Chad, he's Eric's brother from The Cowboy Next Door and we also saw him in A Sweet Montana Christmas.

Chad has a reputation as a playboy-rancher and he's hay to play the field but for some reason he find himself attracted to shy Cynthia Henley that trips all over her tongue when she’s around him.

Cynthia and her 2 ste sister run DMC Solution or should I say Cynthia does all the work and her step sisters are just part of the business because their mom loaned Cynthia the money to start her business if

Cynthia is happy to be invisible, especially when it comes to men, but when Chad hire DMC Solutions to help him and his brother plan a fundraiser to rise money for Logan Stafford’s heritage house restoration project she knows this is her chance to shine and prove that is a professional but Chad keep sending her signs that he's interested in her in a more personal level.

Cynthia can't believe that Chad is really interested in dating her and not one of her ste sisters but the more time they spend together it's harder and harder for her to resit Chad and keep her true feeling a secret.

Cinderella's Cowboy was a cute book but I just felt like something was missing between Chad and Cynthia- I just couldn't feel the strong attraction between them and I didn't like the fact that Cynthia worked so hard and her step sister didn't really help her at all.

Over all Cinderella's Cowboy was a sweet enjoyable novella and I enjoyed reading about characters from previouse books.

Take the framework of the FairlyTale... switch the Charming Prince to ex rodeo cowboy; have his Cinderella be a smart, capable woman who is saddled with twin step-sisters who are tied to the company which is doing a fundraiser for the cowboy. Both are interested in each other... but it takes a mangy stray kitten to eventually have them see the light and that they both are meant to be.....Sweet, overcoming obstacles and linked to other books from the publishing company.

Cynthia has always been in the shadow of her step sisters, those girls who look god without trying, can have any man they want and a trust fund the boot. She Doesn't think Chad could ever be interested in her but that just as well because she has to pick up her sister's slack when it comes to their business. Roxanne has done a great job with this book there's a few ups and downs and a love story within.
Recommend if your after a quick love story

Cinderella's Cowboy is another winner from Roxanne Snopek. I loved this story from beginning to end. I loved hard working Cynthia with her inferiority complex and her too gorgeous but apparently vacuous sisters. I loved Chad, who apparently also suffers a bit from comparisons with his former rodeo star brother Eric. While Chad comes across as a cool, sexier than hell womaniser, he can't forget the beautiful naked girl he caught a glimpse of ten years ago and he's determined to find out who she is. Imagine his surprise when he finds out it is businesslike Cynthia and not one of her flirty sisters! Imagine his further surprise when he finds himself head over heels in love with that same girl, and imagine hers when she discovers that the feelings she has held close to her heart for so long are reciprocated! This story had me from the first page and held me to the last. I loved it!A

Roxanne Snopek has saved the best for last. Cinderella’s Cowboy, the fourth and final book in her This Old House Series is simply wonderful. Best part, it can be read as a standalone. This is the classic Cinderella fairy tale with a little twist.

Cynthia Henley isn’t your typical romance heroine, and I think that’s what makes this story that much more special. Cynthia is strong, independent and all about family.

Chad Anders is your typical cowboy hero. He’s known for one-night stands and just simply being a playboy. But there’s more to Chad than what people see. Chad was first introduced to readers in A Sweet Montana Christmas. I knew then I was going to fall for this cowboy. It’s true, Chad is charming and loves to flirt, but he’s also caring and has a softer side. Cynthia is definitely not the type of woman he usually goes for, but for some reason, he can’t get her out of his mind.

Chad hires Cynthia and her partners to create a brand for a charitable foundation established by his brother and himself. He also wants them to put together a fundraising event to raise money for a local organization. Due to the neglectful nature of her partners, who happen to be her self-absorbed, wealthy step-sisters, Chad and Cynthia end up working together very closely. Much to the dislike of Cynthia, who gets a bad case of stuttering when Chad makes her nervous, which he does quite often.

Cinderella’s Cowboy was a refreshing, totally sweet romance with wonderful characters. Roxanne has definitely saved the best book for last. In typical Roxanne Snopek fashion, she has once again brought tears to my eyes, with the wonderful strength and courage of Cynthia.

This was such a fun story to read I read it in a few hours.Cynthia was refreshing and full of spunk and humor. She knew how everyone counted on her and she did her best to please them all so It was fun to see her reaction when Chad wanted to please her in so many ways !! I havent read the other books in this series but sure plan too..
I received a copy of this book from Net Gallery for review.

What a sweet and cute romance. Well written.

The heroine, Cynthia is called Cinderella by her Stepmother and two beautiful stepsisters. Cynthia has a business and her partners are her stepsisters (her stepmother invested the money but only if the stepsisters could be partners). But of course Cynthia does most of the work. Cynthia has always lived in the shadows of her sisters. In comes Chad, a wealthy cowboy who hires Cynthia to help with a his charity. Both are attracted to each other, but Cynthia believes he's just a typical playboy who can't be interested in her not with her step-sisters around. And so begins Chad's mission to win Cynthia's affection and love.

I really enjoyed Cynthia as a strong heroine. She was smart, sassy and very funny. Chad was so sweet in his attempts in wining Cynthia. Not always going about it in the right way, but his heart meant well. The romance was funny and sweet.

Inspirational, motivating story.
Yes, Cynthia was the Cinderella of the family, with two sparkling stepsisters, who outshines her in any situation and moment.
Chad was used to getting out shined by his famous brother. Together they organize an event for the charity, and as the preparations are on the way, both of their siblings let them down. But Cynthia is determined to pull it together, she needs it, for her company.
The fun, flirting and games go on, showing the true and the real connection between Chad and Cynthia. The events in the story can be a bit heartbreaking at times, but what Chad and Cynthia have, can't be overlooked. And not only Cynthia shows all that she can do it, as situations unfold she prevail herself.
The story is touching and should be dedicated to all who has been signed out by someone else, cause this story shows, so beautifully, that everyone is different, all have weaknesses, but also strengths, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and that despite whatever life gives you, go after your dreams, cause you can do it!
Really, I was expecting a fun, light, quick read, and I got such a meaningful, lovely, and like said, inspiring tale, it took my breath away.

Cute, quick afternoon read. I admit I was a little hesitant because our heroine had a stutter, it can get difficult to read for me, but it didn't. I like how he had been searching for her for years and she was right there, it's always so sweet when they realize it. I do feel like I was missing something though as I didn't read the story before this one. Still a good sweet romance.

I really loved and enjoyed this book. I really loved both of the character specially Cynthia. I thought she was adorable and just a very strong, quirky women. I really din't care for her sisters, I thought they only really thought of them selves and din't care that they were letting there sister do all the work for there joint business but at the end the one sister stepped up and help. I really loved the secondary characters as well and can't wait to read more about them.

I really loved the writing style and the story line of these characters. I thought it was a great funny light read and can't wait to read more by the author.

This was the first book I've read from this author. I will definitely go back for more. Snopek created characters that people can relate to. Cynthia is the quiet one. She has always been overshadowed by her two beautiful stepsisters. Chad, the younger brother of a former rodeo champion, is ready to step out of his brother's shadow. He hires DMC Solutions, to plan a charity event. It is owned by the three women. Cynthia and Eric's attraction builds slowly. There is a deep connection between them. Cynthia has a tender heart and a gentle soul. Chad keeps his true feelings hidden under a flirtatious demeanor. It was so romantic watching these two fall in love. Will Cinderella find her prince? Read it, before the clock strikes midnight.

Cyn and Chad are funny together and keep you wanting for more. I dove into the story and finished it in one sitting. They have great chemistry and I love what he did for her at the end with the kitty!

This is a sweet story of the good girl getting the guy. It is a cute play on the Cinderella story...Cynthia being the a hard worker with two beautiful step-sisters who were not...they were not my favorite people! I haven't read the other books in this series but I didn't feel lost with this one...although it would have been nice to know the stories of the others in this book. Cynthia and Chad couldn't have been more different....she is a no nonsense girl with a little stutter when she is anxious and he is a playboy specializing in one night stands. Cynthia is sweet and I found her anxiety to be a bit endearing. Cynthia had always blended into the background of her two step-sisters and she couldn't quit believe that someone was interested in her and Chad was wondering if Cynthia was over the crush she used to have on his brother. Chad was just so sweet in trying to win her over and make her believe that he wanted her. This was a sweet story that will bring a smile to your face.

3.5 out of 5 stars! This was a creative backwards take on the Cinderella story. Because while Cynthia (Cindy/Cinderella) might feel over looked in her family she loves her stepmother, her father (who's still alive), and her gorgeous twin stepsisters. However, she wants to finally make it on her own without the financial help from her stepmother, as her help includes a clause that her sisters need to “work” with her too. To have her own company she needs to have a successful event for Chad’s new organization Building Tomorrow. Yet as Cynthia gets everything just right for the event, she gets closer to Chad and learns that he might be the one to bring light into her life, while Chad learns that his mystery woman might have been under his nose all along…

Very sweet and entertaining. Especially interesting how the characters nicknamed her Cinderella she isn’t much of one, it’s more about girl power and Cynthia accepting the hand that fate dealt her and making the most of it all. With a kitty, instead of a shoe, to bring Cynthia & Chad together I was charmed. I liked how their relationship subtly grew and how Chad’s ten-year mystery was revealed.

I recommend this novel to those looking for a sweet contemporary romance!

I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley for my honest review.

World class flirt Chad Anders is trying to put together a charity function. He knows that he could have the party in the barn with beers and hot dogs like his brother wants, but he wants this event to be special. So instead of breaking out his grill and Bud Light he calls Cynthia.

Cynthia is shy and nearly invisible to the male population...well until she meets Chad. She knows that she needs to be professional but there is something about Chad that catches her attention.

As they work together their attraction grows and she sees him for more than a flirt and he sees the woman behind her shy girl persona. Will their event be a hit or will late night kisses make their event an epic fail? Read and find out!

This book definitely fits into my short and sugary sweet category.

I loved that Roxanne Snopek gave Cynthia a speech impediment and gave her such a dry sense of humor. Cynthia was definitely my comic relief, she was strong and wasn't afraid to put in the time to get the results that she needed.

I was on the fence about Chad but I guess his actions fit into the whole modern day Cinderella theme. I also love the twist that Roxanne gave this book, Cynthia did not have to dress up and be the belle of the ball for Chad to like her, she just had to be herself.

This book right now is selling for 2.99 on Amazon, which is a good price and is definitely a book that is perfect for a night when you just want to relax and read.

This book was a bit to sweet for me I think this would be a perfect holiday book

Let's begin by saying this is Book 4 of the Old House series. I didn't read the other ones, so it seems like you can really enjoy this book without going through them. I'm sure I would have been so pleased to note the appearence of old characters, like Logan and Eric, but it's so enjoyable nevertheles.

Now that this is out of the way : this book was so amazing!!! (please note that I'm exercising some formidable self-restraint by putting only 3 exclamation points instead of the thousand I thought about ;) ) This is a take of the classic fairy tale Cinderella - I'm sure you guessed that with the title but hey, one can never be too sure. Meet Cynthia Henley, aka Cinderella, the nice, hard-working, beautiful and smart main character. She has a lot of self-esteem problems, primarily centered around the fact that she thinks her stepsisters are more beautiful and loved than her. The stepsisters aren't the mean girls they are in the classic tale, they are just self-centered party girls. So, back to Cynthia, she co-owned a business with her stepsisters. Really, she's stuck with them because her not-bad stepmom loaned her the money to start the aforementioned business.

Now, meet Chad Anders, aka Prince Charming, aka Eric Anders' brother, you know, the rodeo superstar. So, guess what, for once, the female MC is not the only one with self-esteem problems, nop, the male MC too - I can't say how much I loved that the autor decided to take this on. His big brother, Eric, is so popular, so handsome, Chad always feels like he matters by himself, he's always Eric's little brother. The two brothers inherited some serious money from their grand-father and they decide to launch a charitable organisation, enter the beautiful Cinderella. I won't tell you anything more than they have some background together, but they don't know it all. Cue romance and love.

This book was fantastic. The MCs both have some things to overcome, they are both a great mix of smart, determination, kindness and beauty. It's so easy to relate to them. The relation is well developed and has a nice pace. I can't describe the ball of feelings that was rolling inside me while reaing this book but trust me, it was great.

**My thanks to NetGalley and Tule Publishing, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is almost a Cinderella tale, however the step sisters are actually kind to our Cinderella and so is the step-mother.

Cynthia is a very hard working member of her family and doesn't go out and have much fun as she is usually working too hard. She is convinced that after a public humiliation that is put on youtube that her business will suffer, however it is a neighbour that comes to her rescue.

Chad Anders is a neighbour that uses Cynthia's business to help set up his new charity and to help with the big opening promotion night. Both have similarities in their lives that they did not see occurring and they are able to sympathise.

Chad really helps Cynthia and shows her that she is really the woman that he wants.

Cynthia Henley has a stepmother and two stepsisters. While none are evil, Cynthia is used to working hard and standing in her stepsisters' shadows. All she wants is to get enough business to pay her stepmother back and go into business without worrying about whether her stepsisters actually plan to do the work they are supposed to.
When Chad Anders comes looking for her company's help, Cynthia figures she can handle it, if it is just business. After all, she finally got over her crush on Chad's brother, former rodeo star Eric Anders.
Chad can't understand his attraction to shy Cynthia, but is willing to pursue it, if he can convince Cynthia he prefers her to her sisters.
Cynthia is a wonderfully strong, hard-working character, whose beauty shines when she lets it. Chad proves to be a character with more depth than expected, and I enjoyed their interactions, especially when Cynthia gets over her shyness with him.
A short, sweet read with a nice dash of humor, it was easy to lose myself in the story for an hour or two.

The 4th book in this series I enjoyed the twist on the classic Cinderella story. No evil step mother or ugly sisters, in fact a very supportive family. Cynthia and Chad's love story certainly has some bumps to overcome. Cynthia has taken on all the responsibility for a major fundraiser/event for Chad's foundation, the attraction grows as they work together to make the event a success. Sometimes you feel like just knocking their heads together so they see that they belong together. A fun read when you want that book with a HEA

This is a quick and enjoyable read.
Cynthia Henley stutters when she gets nervous. She is over shadowed by her two step-sisters and she is the backbone and driven focus behind DMC Solutions.
Chad Anders has always been in the shadow of his brother Eric the rodeo champion. However, he plays the way he wants and doesn't much matter who he flirts with. He seems to think that his dream girl is one of the Cash sisters who happen to be Cynthia's step-sisters. All because he saw a girl running naked through the halls and all he saw was four moles in the shape of a diamond.
Chap hires DMC Solutions to help with a fundraiser. As they work together on this project Chad starts to realize that there is more to Cynthia. Their romance is sweet to watch bloom over the story.

Roxanne Snopek's Cinderella's Cowboy makes for a quick, sweet read. I've been looking forward to Chad's story and enjoyed reading Cinderella's Cowboy. I loved that there's more to both Cynthia and Chad than what appears at first glance. I really enjoyed their chemistry and how their relationship developed.

So, there are my beloved cowboys *put the check mark on the list*, there is the fairy tale of Cinderella's, the title is suitable *put another check*, there are the cowboys but I already told this *put back an another check* and there is a love dream *last check*. In short words, there is the necessary for a story to appeal to those who believe in fairy tales. Ok, after this book I hope to have finished by the time the period of reading fairy tales. I can say it was a nice retelling of the classic Cinderella, well written and without the usual Prince Charming (hallelujah!). Here we have a heartthrob cowboy (women, attention! It is coming an another playboy) and the stepmother and stepsisters are not malignant as in the original fairy tale. I think it's the first time I read this because usually in retellings I've seen does not change the fact that the stepsisters are those less beautiful - both inside and outside - and sometimes with the brains of chickens. In this story, they are like Barbie (not blond), they have brains but are flawed and lavative, the only matter of leisure and men.
Cynthia, the Cinderella of the moment, is a woman who works hard and like it. Only she has no luck with men and love (as I understand...) until it knocks on the door of her office Chad Anders, a super sexy cowboy (really? :P) that he takes her to organize a important event. This is an opportunity for the girl to improve her work situation and she did not let escape.
Chad, years before, had seen a girl at a party. A girl who has made blood boil in his veins for her audacity but he does not know that she was the insignificant and timid Cynthia.
It will take the magical atmosphere of a dance to get the expected and predictable happy ending.
A reading light and simple, a breath of fresh air is ideal especially in this hot period.

Cynthia Henley plays Cinderella minus the evil step-sisters (just lazy and a bit shallow) and wicked step-mother. Chad Anders plays Prince Charming.

Chad's always wanted to find the girl that captivated him years ago when he saw her running naked across a hotel, all he has to go by is a distinct mole pattern on her back (yeah, glass slippers sound more romantic). Everyone in town has always thought that event a rumor attributed to Cynthia's step-sisters.

While working on a charity fundraiser Chad hires Cynthia and the more time he spends with her the more he falls for her, which completely baffles him because Cynthia is sweet and quiet, the complete opposite of what he normally goes for.

Yes, Chad at first seems a bit shallow but as you read the story, he is actually a real sweetheart and as for Cynthia, I was rooting for her to find her voice and gain self-confidence in herself. Her step-sisters, who by the way not evil, just shallow are always trying to bring her out of her shell. When Chad finally confesses his feelings at the end and Cynthia finally becomes empowered, you will be cheering. This is a really sweet must read.

Rating 5 out of 5 Read@Book

A more modern and less opressive version of the Cinderella tale. Cynthia is our hard-working, conscientious, dependable Cinderella. The step-mother is wealthy and supportive. The step-sisters more irresponsible than cruel. Prince Charming sports a cowboy hat and boots but still smoking hot! And the glass slipper, a glimpse of a naked backside from years ago!

Cute, sweet and without the in-your-face sex at all times that seem to dominate a lot of the romance books these days. Definite recommend.

Another winner set in and around Marietta, Montana. Seems to be a lot by different authors, but all in all they are good reads. A little fast, as this is not a really large book, but I did not feel like I was missing anything, and it felt complete. A good romance, a clean romance, and of course a HEA. What more could you want? Highly recommend this fun and sweet story of a playboy and a wall flower.

Cynthia Henley a.k.a. Cinderella had a hots for ex-rodeo star Eric and she finally had a courage to talk to Eric (from previous book) but he was taken by Leda.
She was alone and she wanted to only focus on her career. When Eric shows up at her office to discuss business proposal. She was running a DMC Solution with her two step sisters. She is the actually the one running the business.
both were working together to hold a ball in honor his foundation and their sparks sizzle but Cynthia will draw a wall between them. Eric has been known as playboy in the town and Cynthia has been known as good girl. Even though she doesn’t feel the same way.
Cynthia wants to focus on her work but having Eric around that doesn’t help a bit and stray cat she has in her barn can’t be found when she needed most.
What will she and Eric do??? Will she find her prince charming and have her happily ever after.

The premise was good, the execution, unfortunately less so.

We only got bare-bones glimpses of the backstory that was at the "heart" of the heroine's stutter whenever the hero was around and his strange fascination with her, never really delving into their "issues" that were also at the heart of their day-to-day interactions with pretty much everybody.
The characters themselves were one-dimensional at best, with everybody and their cat (literally) chomping off "air-time" of the two leads...At least the step-sisters could've been evil and given a little *oomph* to the proceedings.

Instead, we got a sweet, feel-good, bouncy little story with no real bite, and no real *story*.
