I enjoyed this book. It was a good read with each story being the right length to be meaningful but light. Although some were serious situations, they maintained the romance without being too heavy.

The Timeless Love Romance Collection: Love Prevails in Nine Historical Romances is a great collection of short stories. These stories include:
A Valentine for Prudence by Darlene Mindrup From Fannie to Feast by Pamela Kaye Tracy Armed and Dangerous by Dianne Christner The Richest Knight by Nancy J Farrrier Shelter from the Storm by Darlene Mindrup Olympic Hopes by Lynn A Coleman Beyond the Memories by DiAnn Mills Finding Yesterday by Jennifer Rogers Spinola Goodie Goodie by Tamela Hancock Murray.
I enjoyed every one of these stories by DiAnn Mills's Beyond the Memories was my favorite of them all.
Great Collection!
5 stars.

Ah. What a title? "The Timeless Love Romance Collection". It does induce a certain amount of expectations or desire to see how it makes it timeless. "The Timeless Love Romance Collection" consists of 9 novella (short stories) written and probably published between 1999 through 2013 by eight different authors.
I enjoyed all of these stories, some more than others. Even for that, each one gives a little something that makes it "timeless", from simple superstitions to finding love in memories, to love and wealth, to adventure amongst strangers to finding an old love...etc. They all represent what love is: beyond physical appearances, beyond wealth, beyond struggles and beyond class.
Lately, I've been in a novella craze, where I've read dozens of novellas and collections of novellas. Some were quite good (check out my book reviews sections), and some average. I do have to say that not one did I not enjoyed at all. Novellas have a way to grasp your attention. True, some may not fully explained what it needs to say and you might be left with some questions, but most, if not all of them gives you a story to indulge in for an hour or two. With "The Timeless Love Romance Collection", it's no different. What I did find interesting is that some of the stories (4 total) are connected. They have the same setting, with mentioned of characters from other novels, and especially the setting of The El Tovar Hotel and waitresses known as the Harvey Girls. Considering that each novella was written by a different author, that's something. After a little digging, Barbour Publishing published a collection called "Grand Canyon Brides" back in 2006 with the same 4 stories. And to top it off, there is an actual El Tovar Hotel & the Harvey restaurants, hence the "Harvey girls". There's a documentary and a movie film (starred Judy Garland) about the Harvey Girls. In short, starting in the 1880s, over 100,000 young women decided to leave home and travel west to work as waitresses (known as the Harvey Girls) along the transcontinental rail lines. If you're interested search for "Harvey Girl Documentary" and "Harvey Girl Historical Society"
Isn't that what makes a good book? A story (there's 9 here) that touches your heart, engage your imagination, trigger your emotions and hopefully taught you something. "The Timeless Love Romance Collection" is indeed timeless.
NOTE: I received a complimentary e-copy of this book from the publisher, Barbour Publishing through Net Galley for an honest review.

This is a great collection of books by some great authors, like DiAnn Mills. I love have different stories in one book. Here is the list of the stories that it includes:
A Valentine for Prudence by Darlene Mindrup From Fannie to Feast by Pamela Kaye Tracy Armed and Dangerous by Dianne Christner The Richest Knight by Nancy J Farrrier Shelter from the Storm by Darlene Mindrup Olympic Hopes by Lynn A Coleman Beyond the Memories by DiAnn Mills Finding Yesterday by Jennifer Rogers Spinola Goodie Goodie by Tamela Hancock Murray.
I highly recommend this set of books. Having different authors in one book gives the reader a taste of different authors that they may have never heard of.

I am now going to be sure to consider Collections! They are great for traveling, and for a quick read when you want to just relax. I loved the name of this collection. I highly recommend this Collection.
I love historical novels, but add the romance and it is wonderful.

This was an anthology set of novellas that take place in the past across the country. Each novella features stories of heroes and heroines overcoming their circumstances to find happiness.
This was a nice and fairly quick read. The stories were each unique and told about genuine love and kept things pretty clean, which isn’t a problem for me as long as the authors write well enough that I don’t feel it’s necessary. I highly recommend.
