Wow, this book is so hot it could have caused my Kindle to melt! Fortuna does not want to marry the man her parents have picked out for her. She actually refuses him and of course he doesn't believe her because her parents have already agreed. She sees Giles right after the botched proposal and he offers her something different.
Giles doesn't want to marry, but he will be happy to help her run away and hide out for a while. Fortuna is hoping that she can ruin her reputation enough to escape the miserable marriage her parents have picked out for her.
Very hot love scenes in this book, but I liked that Giles realized how much he cared about her and wanted to give her everything she needed and wanted. I really liked this one.

I'm always excited to read period erotica. Some authors completely mess it up. This was not one of those times. My, my ... who knew this book would be so dirty and naughty? This book had menage, m/m/f, m/f/m, one on one, and some nasty old dude who wanted to marry a young girl. The premise of this book was pretty cute. Her dad and soon to be husband were gross, no doubt, but that set up a cute storyline of her trying to get out of the marriage. Three notorious rakehells take her under their protection and hide her while the ugly old geezer is trying to find her. In the meantime, she thinks they're all hot and some sexy times occur. Ooh la la! This book is cute, it's sweet, and it's also dirty. Loved the time period, loved the sex, the humor. Great book!

4.9 stars I really enjoyed this story, not having previously read a book from this series I wasn't sure what to expect. This was fantastic, a series book you can read as a stand alone. I was easily wrapped up in the story. I love the way the characters came together, the sultry writing worked well with what you hope is coming next. There were a few scattered parts that were vague or had holes. I am not sure if that was due to the fact I have not read the previous books in the series, they are leading somewhere or just author error. I'm not sure if the ending is going to stick or will evolve in the next book, but as it stands there were a few unanswered questions for me, besides the fact that I felt someone was missing. I will definitely go back and start the series and read on to the next book. The sensual writing of this author alone intrigues me to want to read more.
