Description

Santa's parents think their little one is absolutely wonderful, even though he has a booming voice instead of a baby's gurgle, loves to stand in front of the refrigerator, gives his birthday presents away, trains his hamsters to pull a matchbox sleigh ... and has an unusual interest in chimneys. The adorably funny portrait of an oddball kid who fulfills his destiny - and two very proud parents.

HO, HO!! what every child knows what Santa says around Christmas time as an adult but he also said it as a young baby.

First I love a good Christmas book and that includes children's books too. I also take a day or two around Christmas to reread some of my favorite Christmas books. And Linda Bailey has written one that is just too cute.

We all know Santa as a grown man who travels in one night delivering presents to good little boys and little girls and coal to those who made the naughty list. But what was Santa like as a baby. In Linda Bailey's book we find out.

I think this book will be a great addition to any collection of Christmas books. In fact I plan on getting a copy to add to my collection for the little ones I know in my life. I think children having a book where Santa is tiny and looks like them might be fun for them and even for the adults. After all we all were babies at one point.

When Santa Was a Baby by Linda Bailey is a great picture book. What was Santa like as a baby? I remember hearing that questions many times. I wished I had this book to bring out. From the HO HO HO to the giving of gifts his life is traced. The story line is thoughtful and well paced. The illustrations are well done. I will highly recommend the book to friends and family. This will be a new family read for Christmas in my world.
