Really good read of three lives in the midst of some of history's most difficult days.
Werner, German born, is working for British Intelligence and is sent to gather information, behind the lines, for
them. At the same time, a young black American soldier faces racism and attacks as he falls in love with a white English girl. And a committed to the war effort German girl is sent to replace missing espionage instruments amidst a failed insert of another Nazi agent.
Great story telling with the realism of history surrounding it all.
Characters are fully defined and easily recognized as true to their representations.
