Wooooow way to rip my heart out with this one! I was fortunate enough to receive the ARC copies of these books and they have both been FANTASTIC! If you enjoy Dark, brooding vampire romance with the vibes of dystopian feeder society then this will be up your alley! Read your trigger warnings and know that this book ends on a cliffhanger!

One of the best second in a series I have read! KA Linde has masterfully raised the stakes in this new world where vampires reign and humans are "offered" the opportunity to become permanent blood donors for them so they may control their more base desires and behavior.
I was at a loss in the beginning wondering how and when Reyna and Becks would finally come back together since the most powerful vampire had Reyna locked away where no one would find her. And then, when she finally escaped and was rescued there were so many obstacles so she and Becks could be somewhat together, I wondered what would happen. There were so many new twists and turns and revelations throughout that my head was spinning with all the theories I had a long the way.
And OH MY GOSH, that ending... Abject torture!! How am I supposed to wait for the next installment after that??? I really am hoping Reyna and Becks get their happy ever after sooner than later. They deserve it!

I can't believe how good this book was. I absolutely devoured it.Now I have to wait until April for the final book. I was immediately drawn in, there wasn't a slow start to this book at all. Some new characters were introduced that I completely fell in love with. We got to know a character that only had a very brief appearance in the first book, and he's actually one of my favorites. Reyna and Beckham's relationship develops more. There are also some really interesting developments that make this vampire book more interesting than others. Waiting for the final book is going to be excruciating!!

Um excuse me miss KA Linde. What was that ending?! You have ruined me! Cliffhangers of all cliffhangers and I’m going to need book 3 immediately. My heart can’t handle not knowing what happens next!

But omg was this a fantastic book! It will keep you captivated from the very first page and it never lets up. It is full of action, tense moments, romance, and twists and turns.

As much as I loved Reyna and Beckham in book 1, I loved them even more in this one! Their relationship goes to another level and I am obsessed. Reyna is so fierce and goes through so much in this book to survive. She truly is a badass. And my man Beckham. He will burn the world down to protect Reyna and I love him for it.

I really don’t know how I’m going to survive until April for the next book 😭

K.A. Linde has done it again. I have yet to read a book by her that I didn't love.
I love these characters and I am so happy to be back with them. Knowing that there is 1 more book after this one, already has me pondering all of the possible things that could happen, especially after the ending of this one.
