Description
From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Icebreaker, a sparkling and cozy holiday romance set in an ambitious small town.
Clara Davenport wants to solve Fraser Falls’s biggest problem. According to Jack Kelly, Clara is Fraser Falls’s biggest problem.
All Clara Davenport has ever wanted to do is climb the ladder at Davenport Innovation Creative, her family’s toy business. Everything was going according to plan, until the company was accused of stealing a doll design from an independent toy maker, creating a flurry of bad publicity. With a promotion dangled in front of her like a carrot to a reindeer, Clara is tasked with charming the locals of the small town to solve the PR nightmare, by any means necessary.
Jack Kelly would be happy to never hear the name Davenport ever again. Less than a year after a guy in a fancy suit appeared on his doorstep with a sleigh-full of promises, the company that once falsely claimed they wanted to sign him to their small business program has copied his design. So when Clara prances into town hoping to convince Fraser Falls that her company is not the enemy, Jack is determined not to be fooled by Davenport twice.
But Clara has a plan to win over the community only to realize that beneath Jack’s frosty demeanor lies the key to the town’s heart—and maybe her own.

Holiday Ever After follows Clara Davenport, who works for her family’s toy company, Davenport Innovation Creative. Her goal is to advance within the company, and everything seems to be going in that direction. That is, until the company was accused of stealing a doll design from an independent toy maker. This generates a significant amount of negative publicity for the company. Clara is tasked with charming the locals of the small town of Fraser Falls, where the doll was made. She believes this is her ticket to advancing in the company. Jack Kelly lives in Fraser Falls and wants nothing to do with the Davenport company. They made promises to him to sign him, but they ultimately stole the idea for the doll. So when Clara comes into town, Jack wants nothing to do with her. But Clara has plans to win over the community and show them that what happened was a mistake. She realizes the way to win over the community is to win over Jack.
I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! It might be my favorite Hannah Grace book, and I love her books. This was just such a cute holiday book. I am such a sucker for an enemies-to-lovers book. I thought that Clara and Jack were so cute. This book reminded me of a cozy Hallmark Christmas movie. I can’t wait to reread this again in December. I highly suggest this book and all of Hannah Grace’s books.
Thank you so much, Hannah Grace and Atria Books, for the ARC of this! This book comes out on September 30!
Amy C, Reviewer
Hannah does it again with this warm holiday romance that will have you laughing out loud. The meet cute is SO CUTE without being cringey while also feeling authentic. As a fellow 30-something, I liked reading from the perspectives of characters my age. Each of the secondary characters feels distinct and help give Fraser Falls life, and they are able to stand apart from the protagonists in meaningful ways. I found the contrast between the relationship Clara tries to build with Flo versus with her father meaningful and reflective of relationships in my own life, and I empathized with her struggle. Even if you don't like holiday romances, this novel has so much heart and the dynamics are so fun it's definitely worth the forray.
Thank you to Netgalley and Atria for the ARC in exchange for an honest review
I would recommend if you're looking for (SPOILERS)
-m/f contemporary romance
-workplace rivals
-small town romance
-close proximity
-opposites attract
-holiday romance
If Hannah Grace writes it I will love it its that simple. This had all the Hallmarks (pun intended) of a great holiday romance. The meddling neighbors, small town shenanigans. The city girl falling for the small town guy. The incredible chemistry as they tried to fight their emotions. I had so much fun with this and honestly need it on my TV screen.
